"Ridegear.com has extremely poor customer service and potentially fraudulent business practices. I have had no repsonse to numerous e-mails and phone calls left about the status of my order. I would highly suggest avoiding any and all transactions with this company. The prices are only good if they deliver product, which in my experience so far is a no."

"On sep 17th i placed an order on ridegear.com for several motorcycle parts and supplies.

On the 18th I received an email that my order will not be shipped, due to most items not being in stock. Nevertheless, my card was charged anyways. I contacted Ridegear by phone and requested the rest of the order be canceled, and my funds be returned. Days later I called again since the funds have not yet showed up in my account. The agent said that he will personally see that it is processed immediately.

On Oct 17th I contacted Ridegear on live chat. I had not received my refund and requested that the funds be returned immediately in a manner I can confirm it actually has been processed. I suggested PayPal or a tracking number for a mailed check. The agent who identified himself only as "costumer solutions 1", apologized, and Informed me that he will personally process the refund. At this point I requested he provide me with some sort of proof that I can actually verify that indeed he did process the refund this time. The agent provided me with a transaction number (623847), whatever that means. When I called my bank, they confirmed that they see the charge, but there is no pending transaction or refund for that amount or from that organization. As I told the agent what the bank just told me, he immediately terminated the chat session."

"Junk service. Takes money, but won't give it back. Long ling of crap automated responces. Go to www.ic3.gov and file a complaint. "

"They are horrible. They didn't ship half the items I ordered but yet charged me the full amount. It is impossible to reach them via e-mail or phone. When I finally did get a person to talk to after wasting a whole day waiting on the phone, he promised that they'll refund me the money but 2 weeks passed and nothing!"

"This store offers very poor customer service. There is no way to check the current status of your order unless you chat with someone online or call. They don't usually bother to package your order until you contact them and request they ship the order. Delivery time for the the past 3 orders has averaged 3 week. "

"lETS BURN THIS JOINT.I ORDERED A SUOMI HELMET ON THE 4TH OF APRIL.STILL WAITING.NO HELMET NO NOTHING.NO RESPONCE TO MY MAILS.BUT I WONT LET THIS GO BY...ILL GET MY MONEY BACK EVEN IF I HAVE TO FLY THERE.WE SHOULD ALL DO SOMETHING"

"Similar experience as the others - purchased an "In Stock Ready To Ship" item that never shipped. Three weeks in, I received a response to my order status inquiry which stated they were having trouble with their "outside warehouse". After 5 weeks of waiting on my much needed brake pads, I canceled the order and requested a refund. Almost 2 more weeks have gone by now and I have yet to get a response or receive a refund. Incidentally, I ground the rear rotor near useless while waiting on the pads. My first order with this company will be my last. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH RIDEGEAR.COM AGAIN!"

"This is the worst company to work with. My card was immediately charged for my order...yet I never received my order. I have yet to even receive an email letting me know my order has left the warehouse! Customer service is horrible. I cannot get a hold of anyone via phone or email. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in California and also emailed the CEO of Ridegear.com. Note to all: this company is out to scam their customers. "

"I ordered twice from these guys. First time the item was out of stock and they didnt even tell me. The second time i ordered 4 spark plugs, i mean how hard is it to ship four spark plugs. I could hand carry it across state lines. Anyway, they took 2 weeks no email responses and when i called them to cancel it the girl on the phone said sorry and then hungup on me. I will never shop there again. All I will do from now on is use there site for detailed pictures and price matching. no thanks RIDEGEAR!"

"This is bordering on being a full blown scam operation. I placed an order for an item listed as "in stock". Never shipped, never acknowledged, but my bank card was debited the day I placed the order. Four weeks later I am still waiting.I have initiated an investigation through my bank. Repeated attempts to get through to them have failed. Avoid this business at all costs."
