I own a very high end remote that wasn\u0027t very old when it started malfunctioning and I contacted the manufacturer to get some parts to repair it and they do not supply new keypads. There solution was to send back the remote to be repaired which meant I would be without it for several weeks.I knew the problem was the contact surface, because I used tin foil to replicate the pad contact surface and the remote worked fine ,but had problems keeping the foil from peeling off over time. The company also suggested that I may need to replace my remote with their new upgraded remote for a few hundred dollars more . That \u0027 when I found your article online with the miracle product. I received the product and applied it to the pads an reassembled my remote and it works good as new.
