"Received an LCD screen for my Blackberry but the ribbon was torn but they did replace it. Tools included worked great and had a youtube video to show you exactly how to do it. Very fast shipping and replacement."

"Repairs Universe is an excellent place to go for smartphone replacement parts and advice. I needed to replace the touch screen on my Blackberry Storm 2 and was leary about doing the work myself. The tech team via Live Chat was very helpful and confident. They helped me find the right part and provided a video guide showing step-by-step details on how to replace the touch screen. Once I ordered my part, it only took 2 days to arrive via standard shipping and the replacement was so very easy thanks to their replacement guide. These guys stand behind their products and services and they don't wash their hands of you once you order their parts. I will definitely use Repairs Universe again should I need more parts and will recommend them to anyone who needs to repair their smartphones.

"I recently ordered a touchscreen replacement kit for my HTC Evo Shift from Repairs Universe. They included the torx and safe-pry tools I required, and the online Take-Apart video was quite methodical and accurate. There were a couple of items inside the case that were unique to my phone model (protective tape covering the the ribbon cables and a differently-shaped flexcable) and required just a little improvisation - but I was able to successfully repair my phone and was overall very pleased with the experience.

I've posted a complete review and suggestions for workarounds in case you run into problems at www.accoladejeff.tumblr.com ."

"Based on the RepairsUniverse product page, replacing my cracked digitizer was a piece of cake: "Included with the HTC Titan touch screen digitizer replacement will be a free open safe pry tool for easy disassembly and installation."

Also, in the mail, they said "If your order came with a FREE repair guide you can find the guide here - http://www.repairsuniverse.com/fitting-instructions.html"

No guide there. I tried to gently pry loose my screen using the tool provided. This was quite easy. Except that not only the digitizer but also the display itself (mirrory thing behind the digitizer) came loose, RUINING MY PHONE.

So, after paying $60 for a new digitizer, I can now buy a new phone for $720.

The answer of the customer service representative? That they would refund my $ 60 if I was so good to ship my digitizer back to them from Europe.

When I said that that was little comfort, they repeated their offer and if there was anything else they could do for me. Listening would be a good start.

I tried to explain to them that they should not advertise a product in this fashion but they wouldn't put up a warning. They promised to put online a video explaining the process 'soon'.

My conclusion? They probably don't want to put up a warning because it will hurt their sales. As if making $ 60 by ruining a 'customers' $ 720 phone is a valid business model. I disagree."

"Ordered a replacement digitizer screen for my Droid Bionic, received parts quickly and without any confusion. Instructions and tools allowed me to do the job correctly and cleanly the first time and since this was my first phone screen replacement, that was a great result. Customer service was excellent, I had cause to discuss something back and forth and they were right on top of things. I would buy parts from them again without hesitation."

"I needed a replacement cover for my htc incredible 2. So may websites claim to have this cover, but in reality they sell rubberized extra covers. I needed the battery cover that has a GSM antenna built-in.
Repairs Universe had a very accurate, concise, and clear description so I didn't waste my time on figuring out whether it was the correct item.
The shipping was very prompt and I got it on time. Also they had great prices on original nokia batteries so I grabbed a couple.
Their website is very easy to navigate no-nonsense and it gets you your search results quickly. Very fast website!"
