"I ordered remotes and keys for 3 cars. All the remotes came with easy instructions. On one of them I needed some tech support. I found their tech support to be very good. They got me programmed in less than 10 minutes. For 2 keys I was able to program it myself with no problem. On my honda I went to one of the locksmiths they suggested. I thought their site is easy to use and their shipping was quick. Best of all, I saved almost $200 by avoiding the dealer."

"I was a bit reluctant to order from this retailer based on the other reviews I saw here.

They were the only place that had the item I needed, and it was only $16, so I figured that worse case scenario, I'd only be out $16.

I'm pleased to report the item I ordered arrived promptly, without any problems.

I ordered a replacement case for my car remote, and I was able to transfer the internal components to the new case. It works perfectly, and saved me about $50 vs. the cost of a new remote!

"Do not order from these people. Tech support had zero knowledge. They sent me two, I repeat, two defective remotes and are charging me for return shipping and a 10% restocking fee. The tech support (Claudia) did all they could do to make my vehicle defective. Not true, the vehicle works fine with my old remote. One remote blinks 15 times and the other blinks once. The remotes ARE defective. If the people who check out the remotes before shipping are as deficient in knowledge as the tech support then that explains the problem. Do not buy from Remotesandkeys.com.
Update 07/20/10. It has been over a month and they still haven't refunded me. I do not expect to get the refund either. I ordered two more remotes from another vendor and they programmed perfectly. Please do not waste your time doing business with remotesandkeys.com."

"These people are pretty pathetic as far as Internet Sales go, they charged my card immediately, finally called them to see where my item was, and they said it's on backorder, yet their web site says "processing!" It's been 11 days now, still not shipped, and it's for a Toyota 4-Runner, not exactly a rare or unusual car. I wouldn't have wasted the money on express shipping if I had known it wasn't even in stock!

"Great quality product, dismal, dismal technical support after the sale it was necessary for me to call technical support I was disconnected the first time, I immediately called back. Finally got thru, attempted to explain my issue, was cut off.
Tech support was more concerned about issuing an RMA instead of first call resolution; first call did not resolve issue. I had to go to work so my wife called later. She was put on hold 2 times and disconnected 3 times. Unfortunately she got the same person I spoke to and she informed my wife that she needed to utilize the knowledge base on the website to resolve the issue. Overall impression is that we were bothering her. Tech support is rude and lacking in knowledge, unwilling to troubleshoot issue and displays obvious signs of reading from a script. (The same instructions we received) We followed the steps as outlined in the instructions for keying in a clone remote the remote would not program.
So we reversed engineered the instructions
Make sure the vehicle alarm is NOT set in Valet Mode
Step 2 in our circumstance, push the valet switch rapidly on off three times (again make sure alarm does not go into Valet mode)
Then move to Step 3
Works like a charm…no thanks to remotesandkeys.com
