AQuarium Depot. Aka Reefs2go. They changed their name for a reason
"in my learned opinion Aquarium Depot aka reefs2go is unquestionably among the worst in our hobby...probably the most horrid shop in the industry .....period. My experiences were many.....I erred early with coral.....then kept going only buying pods. They screwed up every second or third order.....then they are angry at you because they screwed up the orders.....a great example is whenever they offered the buy 1000 pods for 20.00 and get another 1000 free, I'd always order 5 sets......last time they shipped one and Actually showed that I ordered 10 and they shipped one. This was at least the sixth order they skewed up. Previously they said they would send the missing items if I paid shipping again....blackmail. This time I refused. They said good luck, I files a dispute and they showed a ship label for the empty order and laughed......Great group.....If they are your only source for the hobby I'd recommend a different hobby....."

"I ordered several varieties of zoas, feather duster, snails and a few other corals..everything I ordered arrived alive with no issues. The box was packed nicely and the temp was still fine when they arrived...The water they were packed in was clean, the frag plugs were bright white with no unwanted critters attached..2 items were back ordered which I called about and got all my questions answered with no problem. My corals and snails are all doing great and the zoas look awesome with their colors...Sorry for those who had issues, but I was perfectly happy and will order again (when I can afford it lol). Thanks for the beautiful corals. And no, I have no affiliation with this company..have never stepped foot in their business."

"I've purchased from the reefs2go site and the aquarium depot site. Everything was delivered on time and alive. My most recent order included four nano corals (brain, montipora, and couple of gorgonians), two porcelain crabs, 500 reef bugs, three types of macro algae, and a pistol shrimp. All for $75 and free shipping! When I second guessed myself on another coral and asked them to substitute the shrimp, at first they said I would have to reorder, but then they made the switch so I wouldn't miss out on the sale prices that had just expired. Three months later and everything is thriving with the exception of one of the gorgonians, which a shrimp took a liking to. This is the way to go if you want to add some diversity to your tank and you've got the patience to grow corals from a very small size."
Poor shipping service
"Aquarium depot makes you reach a minimum $ amount before they supposedly ship your order by priority 2-3 day mail. My last order has not arrived as of six days. When I asked for a new shipment or money back, they claim that they have no control over the carrier that they used (USPS). They elect the carrier and they state in their website the time it takes for delivery; they should take responsibility for the shipment.They give you credit for any dead fish or coral, but they don't just ship your replacements by snail mail (their so-called priority 2-3 day mail). This is a ploy to get you to spend more to reach the minimum amount needed for, again, snail mail."

"Most items arrived dead. Most items smelled very bad when bag opened. I threw out the packing slip so they wouldn't refund. Waited 3 months for the rest of my order and then they sent me the wrong items and called it a day. Also I ordered 2000 pods and received only 500 total. They seem to be stalling, making me jump thru hoops and long delays between responses. I spent $170 on algae and pods and I have about a $30 value worth of products when all is said and done. What a headache and ripoff. Avoid this company!"

"After taking two weeks to ship my order these people charged me for snails that they did not ship. I have sent a pic of invoice and email till my fingers hurt and they finally issued me a store credit. I don't want a store credit as I will never order again. They ****!!! Stay away!!!"
"These guys are so bad they had to change their name from reefs2go to aquarium depot! HORRIBLE experience with them and will NEVER do business with reefs2go or "aquarium depot" again. Won't give me my money back and now going through 2nd reshipment two months later because the animals have all been DOA due to bad shipping practices. (almost frozen water and 3 days in transit) Their customer service is insanely slow and incompetent. RUN away from them!"
"I have never taken the time to write a review before. But the service you get with this company is so subpar I felt it was necessary to do this one. On September 10, 2015 I ordered a six pack (coral pak) with Reefs2Go. Everything arrived dead except the yellow polyps. They died a few days later. I contacted Reef2Go and spoke with customer service. I was told to take pictures of everything and email them in which I did. I was then informed by email they were going to reship the order. This is the last I have heard from this company. Many attempts have been made to contact them but no one will ever answer the phone now. It is now October 07, 2015 and I am still attempting to contact the company. An email was sent and what I got was an automated response. I am now begining to think what some of the other people are saying. This company is not dealing in good faith and needs to be stopped. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau in their area. "
"Ok so I received my order yesterdayThis is ridiculous, I am completely appalled by the lack of quality products and substandard customer service. Keep your store credit. I will NEVER purchase from you again. As of now I will start a campaign to have your business license removed so your organization can stop fleecing money from good people who enjoy this hobby. You guys are what's wrong in the hobby. I paid you with my hard earned money and you in return send me crap. This is the third time it has happen. I will not send you a photo of the garbage I put in the trash. That's all it was and all it will ever be. However I will scream at the highest mountain to all who will listen “DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY” with the reasons why. I will also be in touch with your business bureau to file complaints against your company for fraud. "Hello, Although I had some problems with Reefs2go. I did receive a call today apologizing for the inconvenience. Also stating if there was anything they could do to make my problem better that they would be more then happy to help. Due to severe weather up North they had problems of there own at the the store. They also did refund monies to our account. Reefs2go, please get a live person to answer & return calls. Thank you...."
"Ordered 4 coral frags they arrived in green nasty water only a couple polyps not the 10 they say most were dead and hanging off where they just broke the rock.. they dont frag them looks like they just split the rock with a screwdriver...wont answer emails horrible customer service waist of time and money !!!"
"Have ordered 4 times from Reefs2Go in the last year and a half. 3 CUC and a softie pack. 2 of the orders in the middle of winter. Except for 2 of the softies, everything arrived alive and healthy. And the gave me credit for the softies, no hassles whatsoever. Will order from them again, maybe not fish because I don't feel ordering fish online is right. But will order CUC, softies and LPS from them"
"Theres a reason for their low rating, they're horrible! I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the deals were too good to pass up. Well, my order was delayed 3x for no reason. Everything I buy from them looks half dead when I get it and eventually dies shortly after getting it. Customer service is horrible. I finally got a refund only after filing a BBB report. Never again. They are in way over their heads and people are being burned everywhere!! Wendy is nice but the owners are in over board. Just a matter of time till they go down."
"A "1" would be too generous for this so-called company! I have had two orders arrive at my home (from the FedEx guy to me personally) ice cold and all creatures dead! They did standby their promise to send me, for free, a second order as they call a "DOA" replacement, but the next order was also ice cold and all were dead! NEVER AGAIN! You do actually get what you pay for. Do not be swindled, be aware. Check out other comments about this garage-run business."
