"Worst customer service skills ever. They treat you like you are stupid and don't know what you are talking about. Everything goes normal until you have to call them to verify you are the one buying the product. I am in the process of buying a digital camera from them and want to cancel my order due to the fact of how rude and all of the bad reviews I have found are exactly what I am experiencing. They will try to upsell you and get you to buy more products and then when you don't they treat you with no respect at all. NEVER BUY FROM REDTAG SAVINGS NEVER THEY ARE A FRAUD AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED

UPDATE: 4/20/2007
I called this morning and told them I wanted to cancel my order and the guy was more than pleased to cancel my order because I did not want to buy his additional $500 package for warranties and batteries.... he said that I would get a confirmation of cancel in 24 hours... just in case I called my credit card company and had them put a flag next to the verification of purchase so that they wouldn't charge my card..... we'll see what happens JUST NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS THEY ARE FRAUDS AND CHEATS..."

"I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. they seem to go my three names, Digital Delivered, Trusted Dealer, and Red Tag Savings. Upon trying to return an unopened item, I called the number on the invoice and my credit card account and talked to the same person each time I called. I think only 1 or two people work there and even though I was not completed satisfied with the unopened product I purchased, they would not give me a return authorization number. The return policy clearly states that RedTag Savings offers a 10 day return privilege on defective and non defective merchandise. Your satisfaction is GUARANTEED .All products returned to us must be accompanied by a RA # (Return Authorization) posted on the outside of the shipping box. All returns without a RA# will be refused by our warehouse. Any product which appears to have an initial defect within 10 days of delivery, may be exchanged for a replacement of the same model without being subject to any restocking fees .All defective products must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty repair after our 10 day return period. If you wish to return a non defective product for any reason, we accept returns on unopened products as well without any restocking fees. We stand behind our products and your satisfaction is guaranteed. Any items returned to us must meet the following guidelines. Please note-Opened and non defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
My item was not defective, nor was it even opened. This company should have given me a return authorization number, without any questions asked. Instead, they gave me the run around and extremely poor customer service.

"These guys are criminal and should be put in jail. They are a totally unethical operation that operates a glitzy, legit-looking web site that hooks customers with (almost) unbelievably low prices on camera gear. After you place an order online, they decide if they want to take it. If so they send you a message back saying that there is something wrong with your credit card info and to please call their 800 number.

When you call they attempt to upsell you with lots of extras. If you don't buy the extras, they will likely never ship the products -- just leave you hanging. If you do, they will run down to a local camera shop or street-side seller of stolen goods and buy a camera to ship to you at a guaranteed profit. These guys stock nothing -- unless its refurbished stuff being sloffed onto you an 'NEW'.

If you attempt to cancel an order (as I did) before it is shipped they will tell you that you can't cancel the order because 'it has been processed'. Bull. They ship it to you anyway -- even if you tell them not to and that you will refuse it at the door. That way, from their point of view, they can charge you an abhorently high 'restocking fee' when the product comes back. It is all a sham.

Supposedly a man named Allen Marcus (may not be his real name) runs the show. He should be in prison and is nothing but a shyster. He hung up on me four times in my attempts to get them to cancel my order -- even though they had not shipped it yet. They operate out of a sleez bag, piece of crap storefront in brooklyn -- looks more like a run down drug dealers apartment. Check out: to see photos.

Obviously stay clear of this jerk, Allen Marcus and his shyster operation. He will definitley occupy a large plot in HELL.

By the way, these guys are really called Digital Delivered, Inc. and they operate as (to date) three different web sites: RedTagSavings.com, TrustedDealer.com, and DigitalDelivered.com. When the reputation of one site gets so bad, they just open up a new site with a new name."

"I researched automotive GPS systems for 4 days and decided to buy two Lowrance 500c systems. Redtag Savings had the best price. I placed an order over the net and under comments I stated that the items were to be Christmas presents and to advise immediately if OOS or backordered. The next day I received an email asking me to call about my order. I called the number and it was answered by an automated call director announcing that I had reached Trusted Reseller. I entered the extension number I was given and the salesman who answered said I had reached Redtag Savings. I said I had been instructed to call. Yes, we need to check your address. He then asked what OOS meant - I explained it meant Out Of Stock and needed the items for Christmas. Do you have them in stock? Yes, we have them. Will you send them to me if I order them? Yes - we have them in stock ready to be sent out. I then went through 10 minutes (at least) of attempts to sell me extended warranties and other items. He told me that they weren't making anything off of me on just the GPS systems - you know they are a good price. I did agree to an additional $35 for a carrying bag and screen protectors. He then completed the order. I asked him to confirm that they were in stock - yes, they are in stock. And asked for a confirming email of the purchase. No problem. He gave me his phone number and extension in case I had any problems. The next morning I received an email stating the items were out of stock and backordered. When they became available, they would upgrade my shipping. Shipping was expensive - $19 each for two 5 lb packages. I called the person I spoke with the previous day and asked if they had the Lowrance 500c in stock. Yes we do. Then why did I get an email stating they were out of stock. He told me he couldn't talk to me about order status - had to call customer service. I told him I spoke to him yesterday and he sold me two units and assured me they were in stock. You say they are in stock now, but you won't send them to me. He then told me he never spoke to me before, didn't sell me the units, and wasn't going to talk to me about it. I know it was the same person because his voice is distinctive and was the same one as on the automated call director - and the same voice that tells you over and over that everyone is busy helping other clients and to please hold. I called customer service and was told they had no Lowrance 500c's - didn't expect any in for a couple of weeks. I checked back for the rest of the week - my order status was always showing items backordered and they were still showing the 500c to be in stock. I finally cancelled the order and replaced it with Newegg - items shipped by second day. So I never actually had a completed transaction with Redtag, but you can expect a hard sell for more items if the price is good. If you don't buy enough, you probably won't receive your shipment. If you really need the items by a certain date, I suggest you pay a little more and order somewhere else. BTW, when I googled their phone number, I was told the number belonged to DigitalDelivered.com"

"Look Out!!! Do not do business with these folks or TrustedDealer.com (an affiliate). If ou place an order, you will get an email and a phone call advising you that there was something wrong with your credit card expiration date. Easy trap to fall into, but think about it. Your transaction was all done electronically and you got a confirmation with the proper credit card info. How could there be an error? They are just trying to up-sell you on an accessory or unnecessary warranty extension. Then, don't believe them about delivery date or their policies of shipment. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent. Consider yourself lucky if you get the right product."

" I was looking for a Garmin Streetpilot GPS. They advertised a very good price with 2-day free shipping. A day later i received a call from them saying that they wanted to confirm my shipping information. Tnen i was offered a price on an external antenna, normally i don't purchase anything without first checking prices, but in a weak moment i said ok. It took three days to receive the package, which was alright with me. Though product box was'nt sealed all the pieces were there. My major complaint was the price of the antenna. After checking online i could have gotten it for $70-90 less. I suggest that anyone thinking of buying from them seriously consider the reviews submitted here."

"Bad news. These folks are absolutely the rudest I have ever encountered on the internet.

When my order was placed I was told to expect tracking information, via email that evening. For more than a week was been told the my item had been shipped the day before and that I would receive an email and tracking information that evening.

The last two days that I called I mentioned that the lady handling the phone had given me the same old “Item’s in the mail and an email on the way for a week.” On both ocasions she responded with, "Have a nice day" and hung up. I assume the "Have a nice day" is euphemistic for an obscene gesture in Brooklyn.

I canceled my order through my credit card company. Also I filed a registered complaint concerning the friendly folks at Red Tag with the credit company.

If you check these guys out via the internet, you discover that my complaint is standard operation procedure for these folks. You will also discover an alleged trait of changing their company name from time to time.

Beware. If you buy from these folks, bring a sense of humor and a thick skin.

"I received an email (Never did get a confirmation order number from the website by the way which should have been a warning sign) from them stating there was a problem with my order. When I called the number and extention I got a male who seemed to be very unprofessional and immediately put my on hold for 5 minutes. When he came back he asked me for my order number which I gave him my last name instead. He put me on hold again for another 20 minutes during which time they picked up and immediately put me on hold without saying anything. Suddenly, I was disconnected. I called my credit card company and told them the situation and they are going to reverse the charges. This is an extremely dangerous place to deal with! Don't buy from them!!!"

"After 1 month, I finally received the camera I ordered. It was new as advertised and a very good price. However, it is now nearly March and I have yet to receive the Safeco extended warranty that I purchased through them nor one of the accessories.

Here are some of the responses I've gotten:
"It's been shipped, you should receive it in a couple of days"
"We sold you the wrong warranty. The correct one is shipping now."
"We're waiting for the guarantor to send us the paperwork."
"
"Somebody was supposed to have called you...."

That's when I can get through to customer service. Generally, I'll be on hold for 30-45 minutes before I give up.

The never respond to their email address.

I've spoken to the manager, he's given me the same line of bull.

I've called Safeco, they're trying to correct the problem from their end too.

BTW...I'm on hold while I'm writing this."
