"I am so dissapointed with radio shack. Never again will I purchase anything from them again. I tried to return a product that was the amount of 220 and they said they didn't have cash in their register. They made me do the run around when every other radio shack said the same thing. I do believe that they should have petty cash or a safe box with money to take out. Do not shop at radio shack they are Liers and they have very rude employees, I'm so dissapointed once again and will never ever be a radio shack costumer again ever.!!!!!!"
"I have purchase for a $10 for every $50 coupon. Went back to the store numerous occasions and never got the coupon. The Senior manager there was unfriendly with very poor customer service. He refused to do anything about. He even ask me why am I trying to get it if it is only $10. I have never had a bad experience before at this store but one really bad one. I will never ever return and shop there again. Does not matter how good of a deal it is. The store number is 013235."
"radioshack is the best, I got a zagg keyboard for my Ipad from there and it is awesome. The service was great and, i was in and out of there in minutes. I will be a customer of Radio shack, for as long as I live."
"I went to radio shack to upgrade my phone and spoke to the assistant managerShe told me that they had an I phone 5 that they were holding for someone who didn't come to pick it up.I accepted and said I would take the phone , she went to talk to her manager and came back and said the manager says that the person was coming to pick up the phone but that if I bought an accessory I agreed and chose an accessory for the iPhone which overpriced .2 days later I went to return the accessory and was told that it was scratched , I proceeded to show the rep that all other cases were the same way she acknowledged but coul not exchange . 22 Lexington ave Passaic nj "
"I placed my order early on a wed. stating many times that this was for a business account. My phone was supposed to be shipped to me 2day, arriving on Friday; Saturday at the latest. Monday rolled around and I hadn't seen it yet, so I called customer service. After being bounced back and fourth, they had me do a chat online for my missing order. (Which online the status said "cancelled by customer". I DID NOT CANCEL MY ORDER!)I did a chat, and they basically told me that they cannot place my order being that this is a business account and the talk plan I am on. In the whole HOUR of placing my order they guy never said they couldn't work with business account and talk plans. Nor did I EVER received a cancellation email and they had my correct email as they sent me a coupon right after I placed my order. Then when I call and get bounced back and fourth, they finally tell me that it is what it is, and there is nothing they can do. And that if I want a phone I need to go through Verizon. I am so upset at the way they handled all that. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND RADIO SHACK WIRELESS TO ANYONE!!!!!! So much time wasted and I have waited almost a week for a phone that's not even coming. And to top it off, this phone was for my boss!!!!!!! Looks real great on me...oh yeah, I can get this great deal from radio shack and work around Verizon, now I gotta go back a week later with no phone and ask to spend 3 times as much!!!!"
"Radio Shack cancelled my order without telling me the reason. Here is the text of the email:"We regret to inform you that we were unable to complete your order. We apologize for any inconvenience."I tried to call the number provided hoping to talk to someone to find out why, but got nowhere. The call was always routed to an automatic response. This is my first time ordering from Radio Shack, and it is also the last time. It's simply terrible."
"Radio Shack Costa Mesta store – 2750 Harbour Blvd. I am blown away by the store managers (Rafael Denicta) disgraceful and pathetic attitude towards customer service, my opinion – deceptive, dishonest and desperate. He could not care about nor happily resolve a simple problem I had. The store depressed me with their out dated stock, poor air-con in middle of summer, etc. etc. I think there are better places to shop that are cheaper and better. At least this place lives up to its name of being a Shack."
"This use to be the top retailer for electronics but not anymore. You buy service plan that does not fix anything when you needed it. You order ship to store and store does not contact you or know if the product is in. They are closing many stores so you may have to think on if your item will arrive or get serviced. Best Bet is to deal direcly with the manufacture on the product. They will work with you on product issues. Staff is nice but stressed from over crowding and short staff. My current purchase still pending arrived but no follow up may have to contact my bank."
"I guess I've gotten lucky over the years to have good transactions with Radio Shack. Or maybe their poor rating has something to do with the fact that everyone can't wait to post a review for their bad experience but only rare individuals take the time to post a review for all their good experiences. I've had nothing but good experiences with Radio Shack both online and at local stores. In fact, I was just at my local store and I had to buy a bunch of fuses for work because one of our buildings was struck by lightning. The credit card I brought didn't work and the owner let me take the fuses and I paid the next day. How's that for customer service? I think I could make that into a country song about the good ol' days when a deal could be made with a handshake."
"I placed an order with Radio Shack 12 April. After a few days I was informed that they had cancelled party of the order, however the shipping costs stayesd the same. I was informed 16 Paril that the order was in int trhe mail. today is the 21 april. Still no order. I wonder if the entire order was cancelled and they simply kept everything? Dopn't order on line with them!"
"I will never buy anything from Radio Shack again. This is the second time that I have bought something from them and it hasn’t worked and they won’t take it back.I bought my Dad this GPS for Fathers day. Since he lives 800 miles away, I ordered it online and had it shipped to him. I did not order a refurbished model but I think that’s what we got. When he opened the package all that was in the box was the GPS itself. No power cord, no windshield mount, not even an instruction booklet. He had the packing slip (It’s says, you have bought a returnable item and it can be returned at any Radio Shack store) and the email receipt that I had forwarded to him and he went to his local store to return it. They refuse to even look at it. They say since he bought it online that he has to return it to the manufacture. They had several of the same units sitting on the shelf but they refused to exchange it. They said they won’t take it because it is only missing things and not broken. We don’t know if it works or not because we can’t turn it on without the power cord. They won’t even give him the items that are missing from it. They would not do a thing. He even tried another store but they wouldn’t help him either. I sent Radio Shack an email explaining the situation and they sent me their automated response that someone will get back to me in 24 hours. I have heard nothing else from them. So now my Dad has this great Fathers day present that doesn’t work and if he sends it back he has to pay the shipping. I’m cutting up my Radio Shack credit card. I won’t be needing it."
"Stay away from Radioshack.com. Their customer service responds, but takes no action on any request. It has been 25 days since they received back my cancelled order, yet I have not received any credit to my credit card. Now I have to go through the dispute process with my Credit Card company.This was my first order attempt at RadioShack.com. I placed the order on Sunday evening 4/20 at 9:00PM. Thier site states orders can be cancelled online as long as the order is not being processed. I receive an order confirmatiuon email immediately after I placed the order. 30 minutes after I ordered, I found the need to cancel the order. I immediately go to their website to cancel the order, but their site states my order number doesn't exist. Their site also states to allow up to 1 hour for a placed order to show up, so I wait an hour and 15 minutes. Still, my order does not exist. So I call to cancel it, and the CS agent can't find my order number either so he says he cannot cancel it. I hang up and send them a "contact us" message on their site to cancel my order. Over two hours after I placed the order, after 11:00PM, Sunday April 20, and still my order does not exist online, so I go to bed.The next morning, surprise, my order shows up and is being processed so it won't give me the option to cancel it. Later, I get a response to my email from the previous evening stating that my order cannot be cancelled because it is now being processed. The order is shipped in two parts, one on Monday, the other on Tuesday. One was shipped from Illinois, the latter from Texas. I get billed for both parts of the order. They made no effort to stop either order, even knowing the situation where I contacted them the previous evening. Their response was that their order system was down for several hours for regular maintenance Sunday evening.I requested that they contact FedEx ground and stop the order. They did not, so I did. I never received either part of the order. FedEx returned both parts of the order to the shipping locations - the first part (Il) on 4/25 at 10:11AM (signed for by T. Travis) and the other (Tx) on 4/30 at 10:51AM (signed for by Elvira). Today is 5/20 and I have yet received any credit on either shipped portion of the order (they were billed separately). I have sent them several emails during this process. They respond to all with an apology and some reason for the delay. All I know is they have done nothing at all, except charge me for an order that I did all I could to cancel before they shipped it. Don't bother with Radioshack.com. "

"I received the two Wii recharge stataions by Gigaware on Friday, 01/04/08. The 1st unit plugged in fine.. The 2nd unit, as soon as I plugged in both controllers, only one lighted up.. After removing the controller, I noticed one of the two wire prongs has fallen off.. Just like that, broken on 1st use/try..Calling the customer service to request for a replacement was a nightmare.. The SR insisted that I broke the product, because "Radioshack always inspect all units before shipping and if it failed in my hands - I must have broken it"..Request to talk to the supervisor, got the answer "I'm in charge; I'm the administrator here.."..I've never encountered any retailers that insist on blaming the customers.. What happens to the service in customer service?! I'm taking my business elsewhere - that's for sure.."
"Initially, it seemed that the order was going to go through without incident. I received an order confirmation within hours. From that point on, however, my order got stalled with seemingly no way to find out status. The order status changed to "Item(s) located in stock" and remained there for two weeks. After several e-mails to Support, I eventually called their 800 number (which was also unpleasant to navigate) and "attempted to" cancel my order. Time will tell if it arrives, or if I get charged for it.Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience."
