"I thought I must write a review only to let other buyers know that all but the first review listed were directed toward the previous owners. Racquet Depot was sold in 2008 to Westwood Sports which has been in business since 1980. Their inventory and pricing and shipping and customer service will match any in the business. Nobody takes the time to commend a business, only to complain. These complaints were all directed toward the previous owners."

"Well, I placed the order and 30 minutes later the item was packed and reported shipped (thought for a moment it was a April fools day joke), but then several hours later UPS confirms pickup with a ground delivery date of 7 days. Ground shipping was included for a unbelievable priced strung Prince O3 racket. Now I'll wait and update if this great buy fails to meed my expectations.
Updated April 7. As scheduled the racket arrived, very well packed and ready for my match tonight. I give Racket Deport 5Stars. I had been told that the new owners had pledged to make satisfaction their number one priority, and I can attest to that."

"i ordered a racquet from RD on the 13th supposedly i was supposed to get it by monday. But they had an "inventory glitch" which i was ok with since those types of things happen. However what ticked me off more was that after the order was filled the guy leaves the package in a ups office without checking if it's shipped or not. Now the package is scheduled to reach me on the 22nd almost 3 days later than the original date. They're prices are good almost better then tenniswarehouse but their service is horrendous. If you don't mind sacrificing some time for the cheapness then by my guest and use this place"
"I usually buy from Tennis Warehouse (awesome) but ordered from Raquette Depot because they offered a couple small accessories TW did not carry. The RD web site listed all the items in stock, and a phone conversation confirmed their availability. I ordered Monday expecting the items in time for the weekend. By the next week, I had received nothing, so I called them again. My order was held up due to out of stock items (a hat). The next day I was called to say the order had shipped, and I recieved an email with a USPS tracking number. A week later I had still not received anything, and according to the USPS site, the package had not been turned over to the PO for pick up yet. Customer service at RD is friendly but I have the feeling I am getting the run around. It shouldnt take nearly three weeks to get a bag, hat and some wrist bands that were supposedly in stock. I spend approx $600 a month on sportswear, gear and accessories, and RD will not get any of that in the future!"
"Ordered a couple tennis racquets from this place and I think they tried to cheat me out of a couple bucks. I had the racquets strung with a parituclar string and particular tension (I specifically didn't want the logo painted on). When I received the racquet, the tension was definitely off and there was a logo painted on. I later learned that this racquet comes restrung from the manufacture. Thus, they probably charged me for strings that already were on the racquet. My suggestion don't order from these guys (customer service was horrendous). go to tennis-warehouse.com, much better and more well respected site to get merchandise."
