"After a very long time for delivery the item is junk. Drivers did not work for my phone. Software did not work either. Price was to high. Never replied to 1 email. Ended up buying another on ebay for $5.00 and it worked perfect. RPI IS A RIP OFF. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. U HAVE BEEN WARNED."
"I ordered a cell phone accessory from RPI Wireless and paid $35.98 through my PayPal account. I received an order confirmation email, but never received the product. Now I can't reach them by email and the website www.rpiwireless.com is no longer valid. I filed a complaint with PayPal, who decided in my favor because RPI Wireless never responded to the attempts to contact them. Unfortunately, since they already received my money, PayPal can only get my money back if they have funds in their PayPal account. I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau, who attempted to contact them and have had no response. I just want my money back. This experience has made me very wary about purchasing items on the internet...after all, I thought that by paying with PayPal, I was being safe!"
"10/25/06: I should have looked here first. Unresponsive to emails, you can't call them as you *always* have to leave a message and can't talk to a live person. Ordered an in-stock item, paid for overnight shipping... order is still showing only as processed on website and not shipped.
*UPDATE 11/02/16*
Still no response from any emails sent to them, nor any return phone calls from messages left (which by the way.. how do you run a customer service center if you have to leave a message every time?). Package arrived today. So much for over-night shipping. Cable looks used and worn. CD called 'Mobile Tools' is scratched and unreadable. Sent another email to 'customer service' and left yet *another* message at 'customer service'. Doubt I'll get a reply. "

"Had problems downloading software purchase. It's description made it sound like a competitor to DataPilot. It was a rip off. I received free software that could've been had for free from a freeware/shareware site."

"I hate to say it...live & learn! I was told about this site by a friend who evidently has never had any need for customer service...lucky for him cuz there is none. I had tried to purchase a charging data cable for my cellphone..got an email from Robert Valentine assuring me they would refund my shipping charges as it was advertised on their site. He very graciously did so. Got my cble about 4 weeks later without any instructions and the cd didn't seem to work. I tried numerous times to contact by phone and email anyone from this company with no luck...even Mr Robert Valentine wouldn't return my emails! I had given them their money and thats where the contact stopped. So I am sitting here with a charging data cable that I have no idea how to use. Thank you very much for the $25.00 of BUYER BEWARE Mr Robert Valen-Crime ! If I had only found this site before I had purchased. "
"Unfortunately, I discovered this site after I made my purchase from RPI Wireless. This was by far the absolute worst purchasing experience I've ever had. I bought a LG VX 8100 USB cable on 2/28 and promptly received 4 automatic emails.
Over the next few days I kept checking my order detail page on RPI's website to get the tracking number which didn't appear after several days. So I emailed their customer support... and got no reply. So I tried calling them and their automated system promptly said, "Thank you for calling. Goodbye." it was then that I first thought, "Uh oh, who did I just give $30 to?"
I sent emails to every single email address I could find on their site and called their sales phone number, all with no reply. That's when I first did some research on the company and discovered what a huge majority of people had a bad experience.
I began looking into my options and considered calling my credit card company to issue a charge back. However, I saw a couple of people who said that they eventually got their packages after a few weeks even though they got incredibly bad customer service. So I waited and a week later got an email that gave me a tracking number which I checked with USPS only to discover that it doesn't mean the package was actually shipped.
So I waited a little while longer and today I finally got my cable which actually works, even though the installation CD is the most unprofessional looking thing I've ever seen.
The experience has taught me that the internet is still not a totally safe place to purchase something. RPI Wireless is absolutely the worst business I've ever seen. Their customer service is not just bad, it's non-existent and the company is borderline fraudulent. I'd sooner purchase a Rolex from some guy on the street than purchase from RPI Wireless again. This company should be shut down... now!"
"I believe that RPIWireless is a fraudulent company. I have waited 33 days for delivery. RpiWireless claims to have sent the item via USPS mail. That only means that the POSTAGE was bought. USPS received a tracking number that can't be tracked even by USPS. This makes RPIWireless and USPS worthless in my opinion."
