“The return we would not accept from you was a Cosmetic LCD Bezel. You requested this return 20 + days after you had received this item. This item as most other notebook repair/service parts are not retunable and are exchange for the same item only if the item was received defective or damaged.
This is clearly listed on the product page for the item you had purchased.
Unforturnately as listed on the product page we cannot accept returns for cosmetic items like notebook panels as these are easily damaged or scratched and then would not be sellable after a return.
This information was available as you viewed the product and placed the order. This is not something that we tell our customers after the order has been placed. This information and return policy was available to you before you had ordered the item.”

“At the time you placed this order (11/12/2012) we were in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy (We are located in New York). All shipping service providers (UPS, Fedex, USPS) were severely disrupted for weeks. When you had placed this order the most reliable and best operating carrier was UPS (UPS is our default carrier). UPS was the most dependable in our area and the carrier we could guarantee on that our freight was picked up on a daily basis.

We were operating for weeks with intermittent power, intermittent land line telephone service, intermittent internet service, and running our business mostly by cell phones. If you contacted us and we were "short" with you on the phone this was because we were operating by cell phones, intermittent power, and batteries running low. If this was the case we apoligize for being short but the shipping cost you paid for UPS Ground is correct.

You were charged $14.08 for UPS Ground Shipping, we use UPS realtime shipping which pulls the shipping cost directly from UPS based on our Zip Code to your Zip Code. Minimum UPS ground is $8.00-$9.00 plus $2.50 for signature required, insurance, and a delivery surcharge imposed by UPS for your Zip Code. $14.08 is the exact and correct cost for a 12"x10"x3" package that we shipped to you. We do not understand what you were expecting to pay for a Ground package with the above services in todays economy.”

"I bought a power cord on a Saturday, and did expedited 2nd day air shipping hoping I'd get it by Tuesday, or at least by Wednesday since that's when I really needed it. But they have a 2-3 business day waiting period before they ship extra parts and I didn't get it until Friday. Odd policy that completely defeated the purpose of me paying extra for expedited shipping, but it is what it is. That said, the power cord works, perfectly fine."

“Most of our notebook service parts ship in 2-3 business days due to the volume of orders we receive. Notebook service parts that do ship in 2-3 business days state this clearly on the product page. This information was available as you viewed the product and placed the order. This is not something that we tell our customers after the order has been placed. This information was available to you before you had ordered the item. Also expedited shipping is just that, you had selected 2nd day air delivery. This does not include or state 2nd day processing. Your order was processed and delivered in the exact time frame we had quoted, UPS 2nd day air was ontime as well.”

"I ordered a custom made gaming laptop from RK computers, and it is absolutely fantastic, definitely worth the money. The customer service is second to none, I mean absolutely amazing.

I had a technical problem (completely my own fault, I accidentally unplugged the power and expected my video card to run the same, but with higher-end video card you will need to have your power plugged in for full performance, or something along those lines), and when I called customer service my call was answered immediately. NO AUTOMATED BS, no wait time, a real live person on the phone waiting to help me out. A few minutes later he even went through the trouble of calling me back to suggest more solutions.

So based off my experience, I love RK computers because it's reasonably priced (unlike Alienware which would is almost double the price for basically the same product). And because you feel like the employees there are actually wanting to help you and give you a better product as opposed to "just being there for a paycheck" like so many other companies.

The customer service representative who assisted me is Rob, so thanks Rob!"

"Before I purchased the notebook, I emailed RK Computers with some questions. Rob responded to me within 30 minutes and was very informative and answered each and every question. Overall, the pricing is competitive, they offer barebone notebooks and the customer service is excellent. Would definitely recommend RK Computers to my friends & family!"

"I was very pleased with RK Computers. This was my first purchase from them. I ordered a second generation Intel chip, the 2920, which is currently the most expensive and highest performing chip. They contacted me by email and asked why I needed the chip. They told me that it wears down the battery charge more quickly than the next lower chip and that most people don't need it. So even though it required a change to my order, and it means that the price of my laptop would be less than if they hadn't emailed me, they did it anyway. When the computer arrived, there were some Post-It notes on a software disc and on the computer to inform me about some things that needed to be done and why. This is the type of personal, customer-interested attention, that is rarely seen anymore. By the way, my new laptop is awesome. I would definitely do business with RK Computers again."

"Hands down the best experience I've had when purchasing a new laptop; and I've purchased a laptop for someone in the family every year for the past 10 yrs. Great product, (MSI), great feedback at every step of their process to its arrival.

I plan on ordering next year's (and following years') laptop(s) from RK.

"I decided to order a barebones notebook from RK after a friend recommended them. I contacted their support with various questions about their products and always received a reply within minutes. I placed my order June 22nd, I later decided I wanted to change something about the order and their support helped me do so without any problems. I received my order on June 28th and I am very satisfied. I would definitely recommend RK computers because of their great products and speedy support."

" Today I recieved my order #22317, cooling fan. The fan fits perfectly & is quiet. I was however very disappointed when it arrived. I was handed a bill for $43.50 "brokerage fee" from UPS, this is after I already paid $28.94 shipping. I wish I had known there would be this extra charge when the shipping costs were supplied. I would suggest in the future that you inform your customers from out of the country that UPS charges as much to deliver the part as the part itself costs."

"I broke a couple components on my MSI notebook. I needed a bottom-door assembly as well as an optical-drive bezel. RK had the bezel in stock and was able to special order the door from MSI. Since the door assembly was not part of the company's inventory, I had to place my order by phone. This was OK, except that I never received any sort of confirmation e-mail. The package arrived on time, but when I opened the box, it smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes inside it. RK says it might be a result of the packing materials they use, and the smell went away after I aired out the parts for a few hours. The company promises they will look into this, and hopefully they will find a solution. Regardless, RK Computers delivered what they promised, and you can't ask for more."

"The one store in the world to have the component I needed! Phew.

I am slightly disappointed by the inability to ship to a non-billing address. I spoke to customer service about this and they weren't able to do anything. While I'll put up with it because there's no other place that I could buy the component I needed, I wouldn't shop here again knowing that I can't ship to a different, non-billing address as that adds a while of waiting for me, a travelling person.

(note, this is for an international purchase)"
