I just got the chance to go buy myself a new Nikon D80. Since this is a rare opportunity that probably won't come around again for quite a while, I wanted to pick up one of Mack's extended warranties just to make sure. However, the store I bought the camera from (like many, many others) wanted $90 for a camera of that price.
Some random googling turned up Quality Digital Camera, and I'm really glad it did. Instead of the others' asking price for the infamous Mack warranty #1016, QDC were only looking for $35 for one. Even better, instead of the nonsense shipping costs that a lot of other places seem to think is reasonable to move a couple of pieces of paper from A to B, QDC will chuck it in an envelope and send it through the mail for the princely sum of two dollars plus change.
OK, so on the downside, their website sort of reminds me of a bad myspace page. Their front page has a monstrous picture of a Mack warranty that definitely gets the point across, but it causes the text that flows around it to make the page really wide, which is a bit of a pain. There are also links on the left to a bunch of jokes and the likes, which is odd but fun. To be honest, I wouldn't have ordered at all from here on the basis of their website alone, but the few reviews posted to RR were all glowing, so I took a chance.
They responded quickly to confirm my order, and they then sent a further email with the serial number of the warranty, in case I needed it quickly to go register it on Mack's website. Although I didn't need it that quickly, that was a very nice touch.
Basically, if you're looking for one of Mack's warranties, you could do far worse than this place. They have exceptional pricing compared to the competition (including some badly-needed sanity in shipping rates) and some nice touches in the way they do business."

Shipping was a little steep considering it cost me around $7 to ship a document, but with all the money I saved I figured it was worth the risk. Definetly a small time website for now, but their service was pretty good. Took a little while to ship it out, but everything came as ordered, so in the end I am very satisfied. I ordered over the phone, and it was nice talking to the owners, they were very respectable and helpful."
"I bought a pair of Sennheiser PMX60's from this store, and there is not much to say. They shipped ASAP with UPS, came delivered on time with the product packaged nicely and securely. Nothing wrong with them at all, had good confirmation e-mails and everything. Also didn't kill me on shipping prices, as many other online stores do. A overall great experience!"

"I found Quality Digicam to have the lowest prices for a 5yr Mack warranty for my D70 which I had purchased at B&H Photo. I love B&H, but they were charging me $90 for something that I paid $35 at Quality Digicam.
Since their website is not as suave and I have not heard of them before, I checked reseller ratings. Again with a perfect 10 score, warning lights went off in my head. I called the store and spoke to Rob. He was extremely gracious and I felt comfortable enough to take a risk.
Samia, his wife, who is extremely pleasant, called me back and I placed my order with them. She reduced my shipping charges as she felt I should not have to pay extra for something that would not cost her extra. The items arrived as promised.
Samia and Rob are a mom & pop store and were extremely grateful for my business. I know there are stores that might be cheaper, but if they stock what I want, I'm going to purchase from them - even if it means spending a little more money. They definitely deserve the consideration. Thanks Samia & Rob! "

"I have been in the market for a digital camera for several months and couldn't make up my mind until I visited my cousin in Georgia. He did the leg work for comparing models and also recommended Quality Digital Camera as "THE PLACE TO BUY". I took his advice and was so glad that I did. Rob and Samia personally thanked me for my order and treated me like family. They filled the order the same day. I have since placed two more orders with them and any future camera needs will also go to them. I highly recommend this company!!"
