"I placed my claim on-line and within minutes received a call from their call center. The girl was very efficient on the phone, however when I received my phone it was the wrong color. I had been without a phone for 3 days so I was not going to send it back, but it was a little annoying. I will survive. "
"I purchased my plan through the TCC Verizon store which was always very helpful. When my phone screen cracked, I went to the TCC store where I bought it on a Thursday but found that my records were not updated in my account (by TCC store personnel)so I had to return the next day with my paperwork to fix it. On the Friday I had my account updated and called the Protect Cell corporate office to get my new phone sent to me. I was told by the rep there would be a $120 admin fee and that I wouldn&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;#039;t get my phone until the next Monday or Tuesday latest. Well I paid the fee and waited for my phone which didn&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;#039;t arrive until WEDNESDAY afternoon. It took 3 days for the phone to come from Ohio to NY! Apparently I paid $120 for FEDEX ground only despite them guaranteeing a quick two day delivery. I called Protect Cell on Thursday (877-368-6365 x1)to log my complaint and got a super rude customer service rep who kept shushing me while she read the account transcript and then overtalked me when I tried to speak which was obnoxious and very unprofessional. I hung up after 5 minutes of getting nowhere with her. I&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;#039;ll never do business with them again."

"1st time I have had to use protectcell. Not a good experience so far. I received the replacement when they promised me but my carrier could not activate the phone. It is a Apple Iphone 4. When I called they said they would ship it overnight. The verdict is out still. I am going to wait to see if this next phone works."

"I purchased the policy through a Verizon Store and thought it was a good deal for my 16 year old son's IPhone4. He dropped it within a few weeks and the screen cracked. Due to the first replacement cost of 120.00 we waited until the screen cracked a bit more and when the front facing camera failed. The claim process was speedy except it was deemed a corporate account and I needed to be helped by the corporate office. I was passed around a few times but after I got to the right person the process was speedy. Phone came two days later and we've swapped all the info and we're good to go. No regrets."

"I've used this service 3 times to replace my phone. I paid 200$ for the service, it cost 100$ to replace the phone the first time and 140$ the last two times, you decide if spending that much is worth it. The phones they send are obviously used since they have scratches and dents on them, one time they sent me a defective phone and had to wait additional time to get another one. I'm probably going somewhere else for insurance."
"Have used protectcell in the past and have been very satisfied, but this was much different. Received an iPhone 5 replacement and it said just call verizon and give them the new serial number before turning on. This did not work at all... Verizon needed the sim card ID. I call protectcell and the lady couldn't give me any info. She then tells me that most people just go to their dealer and have them do it!!! are you kidding me? it comes in to my house on a Saturday and the instructions say its a breeze. The customer service person says I should just take it into a dealer?! luckily I am a techy, so I found online how to pull the simcard out of iphones and what do I find?! NO SIM CARD!!! it would have never worked in the first place. I had to change the sim cards and then talk with verizon for an hour to get the transfer completed. Verizon was great, no thanks to protectcell. Very unsatisfied."
"After breaking my phone, I was sent a new phone in two days like I was told. The phone they sent had a defective screen and was not the correct color. I wasn't even asked about color the first time I called. I called ProtectCELL right away after receiving the defective phone, and while they were quick in getting me yet another replacement phone in the correct color (it should be arriving tomorrow), there was no offer to refund some of my cost or reimburse me in some way - there wasn't even an apology. If the phone arrives tomorrow, which I expect it will, it will have taken six days to get a working phone.My initial call was pleasant and was handled in a timely manner. For the second call, I had to wait on hold for about 25 minutes. When I was finally connected, the person I was speaking to kept talking over me and was rushing me through the call. My conversation with ProtectCELL for my second call lasted maybe 2 minutes, and that's being generous. I was not asked at the end of my call if I had any additional questions. The gentleman I was speaking to said my replacement phone would be sent out first thing Monday morning, and then hung up.Was thrilled with my first call! I told my boyfriend and my friends how impressed I was with my experience. I wasn't even that upset that the replacement phone had a defective screen or that it was the wrong color. What did upset me however, was how I was treated after the defective phone was sent to me. Not even an apology? That's just blatantly bad customer service."
