"Customer service is extraordinary. I bought a watch at an excellent price and it arrived on time and well packed. Unfortunately, and quite surprisingly for a Japanese brand, the watch proved to be defective and no repair shop would touch it. Dan took pains to have the manufacturer repair it twice, the second time when, arguably, it may have been out of warranty. Communication by email was prompt and informative."

"I don't normally write reviews but my experience with PromenadeWatches (PW) was just horrible. I spent days looking for a recently interested watch piece. Nixon 51-30 Gunship. I found it on PW for $70.00 cheaper than anywhere else I had seen on the web. (Awesome). When i received the watch it looked amazing but wasn't running, no big deal i saved a butt load of money i would just take it to a watch shop and get battery replaced. So while i was taking the time to at least set the time and date i notice the top crown was BROKEN. I called PW and no call was returned. I looked for this watch everywhere i wasn't going to give up so easily. When PW failed to return my call i tried sending to the manufacture, Nixon. Nixon said it could not be repaired, and they didn't carry that watch to replace it. I called PW back again and still nothing. So disappointed!
***UPDATE***
Apparently the Christmas season was busy for all. PW got a hold of me and made every effort to find or get a replacement watch for me. After not being able to find a replacement watch PW offered a full refund as advertised. Other than not having the watch (which was limited as it was) I am happy with the result. Little odd that they are refunding by "check" but refund is refund. Thanks for following through PW."

"I can't say that it's bad store because I have received my watch at last today 21.06.2011. I paid for my watch 20.05.2011. About one week my order had status - Pending. I sent them. Next day my order became - Processing. In one week I sent them one more email. They answer me following:

Hi.
we send your watch out Monday.
To deliver to Russia is about 10 days.
We will send you the tracking number soon.
Thank you

I waited one week and nothing!
I asked for tracking number. In 3 days I received letter with WRONG tarcking number. I sent one more letter about this!
And nothing again.
Only in one week I received letter from Arik with REAL tracking number.
And today I received my watch!!! It's new, original and etc...

"I ordered a citizen aqualand watch MA9040-52E,which is a verry old model from citizen,but still,this seller was able to supply one in brand new with tags condition(not a store display like many online shops tend to do).
Was shipped the same day the order was placed,(as a note i contacted the seller for that prior to placing the order),verry carefully packed,express mail shipping - 5 days to Romania,Europe.
Verry friendly custommer support(speaks Romanian)"

"Hi!
Received a negative experience when dealing with this store. Well, that was paying
Paypal. Paid instantaneously. Notified through the site for payment. After that, the order status still has not changed. Wrote again - no answer. Began to worry. Asked to cancel the order - no answer. Opened the debate on Paypal - only then began to respond. Now leading the correspondence only through Paypal. Answer me that I got from just one letter. Promise to return, but do nothing. Spravshivayu a tracking number - no answer. It seems to me that the store wants me to cheat. These hours were needed for the other - seem to have to buy them in nomalnom store has its own expense, as denegi unlikely to return or will send an empty box. But I'm not going to receive it:).

shipped 20th and received through US Priority mail
by November 23,2010. Outstanding response and questions were answered. I would rate this Watch company 5 stars."

"I decided to purchase an item from Promenadewatches.com after reviewing their feedback. The problem is, and they don't tell you, that they are a drop-shipper! Even their address that appears on Google - If anyone took their time to check out. Is nothing more than an apartment in a poor run down area of Van Nuys! This is probably a one man business, as their emails have major grammatical errors and their answering system basically takes you to the only person - Dan. While I did receive the item, it took a very long time. Basically when you order - Dan orders, nothing or very few items are in stock! If you need your item soon or in a timely manner - this may not be the website for you!"
