"I placed an order with them and shortly thereafter got an email saying there was a problem with my billing address and credit card (which should not have been the case). I called the next day and had trouble getting hold of customer service quickly. Finally, I managed to get hold of someone after about a 10 minute wait. We did a conference call with my bank and finally they agreed to ship the item. Even though it was a $20 item, they sent it signature required which is ridiculous. The price was great and there were no problems with the item so I may shop with them in the future in spite of these issues. Note that this is the same store as the-house.com so look for additional reviews there."
"I ordered a Christmas gift from this merchant, and received an automated confirmation. The item was backordered so I asked when it would be available (via my order, and via a follow up email) and received no response. The website said my card would not be charged for backordered items, but it was charged immediately. After a week, I called them to find out a ship date and to ask about the charge (>$400) and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes. After 2 weeks, I sent a follow up email, and filed a complaint with paypal. That finally got their attention. They sent an email with a 'this may or may not be in after January 1, if you don't want to wait (indefinitely) we can refund your money.'Right. No apology, no reasons or excuses, just 'if you don't want us to hold your money indefinitely we could give it back. Since you made us.' My advice, do NOT do business with this company. They gave me my money back, but never apologized for their dismal customer service."
