"It's a Beast ...

I'm a proud owner of the Prostar P170HM w/ AMD 6990M, you can throw any game at it with no problems at all, and my opinion on this machine is as follows:

Main Pros:
- Powerful processor
- Powerful Graphics Card AMD 6990M
- USB3 ports

Main cons:
- speakers/ Sound is average.

I would happily order new laptops from the same line in the future.

"I thought that pro-star did an incredible job. Their prices are the lowest of any company around. I do have three key suggestions for them.

1. Make the user interface a little better.. I bought a MSI Gt60 computer without even realizing that prostar has its own line of computers..I probably would have bought the prostar line if I noticed that(slightly cheaper prices, better features, option for expedited services would be key reasons..a downside would be no accidental damage protection).

2. Note that banks have wire transfer fees and that in most cases you have to go to a bank branch to complete the transfer...therefore it might not be worth the 3% off (typically it costs $25 for the transfer plus finding time to go to the bank..its probably not worth your money unless you buy a $2000+ computer.

3. I don't know if this is possible but have more computers with the option of expedited service.. my msi gt60 did not have this option but I would have paid as much as $60 for it(i think prostar currently charges $40).

Overall though prostar did do a very good job..and even though there were these three issues I will still buy from prostar again because of low prices and great customer service. "

"Ordered a P170HM system. Received it on time and, as I requested, with no exterior branding. Laptop performed flawlessly and was a delight for my gaming needs (BF3/WOW). I highly recommend them especially if you're a gamer!"

"I recently bought a MSI FORCE 16F2 with a couple of the upgrades. I am VERY satisfied with everything about this company. The upgrades were all installed and working properly. The customer service was very good and there were zero delays, in fact, they actually shipped FASTER than they stated (they said they would ship out on approximately Monday or Tuesday March 26 or 27), but they actually shipped out on 3/29 or so. Overall, VERY excellent work. My laptop is working wonderfully. I highly recommend this company."

"Prostar is fantastic! The computers are priced very competitively and they run great. Eddie Yuan was a very helpful representative and got me a full refund for my laptop and i plan on getting another soon! They are very helpful and really know there stuff! Go to Prostar if you need a great laptop at a great price with great customer service. Couldn't be happier! Telling all of my friends! "

"The Asus G74SX-DH71 Model laptop that was ordered came as expected. Pro-Star built the laptop quickly and delivered on time, great performance, and wonderful picture quality. The website is easy to use and configure with the options that were needed."

"I have bought numerous Prostar computers in the past. The quality is excellent and the support team is unbelievable! You always get a human voice on the phone instead of automation. The ability to custom build your machine and the low prices will keep me coming back."
