"My wife and I have just finished our new house. We were most excited to try out new Hibachi grill and 6 burner gas stove. Above both of these appliances we installed ProLine Range Hoods. The ProLine Range Hoods were easy to install and easier to operate. I could not imagine using my grill or my stove without my Proline Range Hood. "This is the highest quality Range Hood I found while searching for weeks for that Restaurant Quality look for our home kitchen.I have yet to see workmanship of this caliber. When people see it they think I paid 5 times what I did directly through the Proline web site. My son who is a chief in a high end restaurant compares my home unit to his where he works. The fan with 4 speeds is comparable to restaurant quality and draws air from past our cook top area. I have never seen a hood fan so powerful. I recommend Proline hoods over any other brand. If you consider quality, I rate it low priced as it is worth twice what I paid. Product was shipped fast and had thick protection with no damage. My contractor had no problems installing the unit and connecting the duct work. Customer service was excellent with immediate responses."
"Everything looked great... However, the duct opening are non US. Normal duct transition do not fit. When calling for help they seem to dumb founded that my HVAC installer is having a hard time with their unit. They suggested tape or maybe a clamp to over come the issue. Their customer service is poor. I would never ever buy from them again. Great price - treble value and service "
"Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!! I placed an order on 10/4/13 for an item that was out of stock but followed the companies advice to contact them for a date when I could expect it to be in. Oh, how I wish I had seen all the negative review prior to ordering. I have sent them emails, and left multiple messages and still I have never spoken to a representive of this company. No matter when I call or what number I call I ALWAYS get a recording. I have called this company probably 50 times trying to reach someone. Also in the evening their web page has an off line message and ask you to leave a message but during the day no online support is available. This company immediately charged my credit card. My last messages have stated that I would like to cancel my order and get a refund on my credit card, still no response so today I'm contacting Visa to try and get my money back.I wonder if this company is even real! It's amazing that in their response to all the negative reviews on here it's give us a call.....as if that will accomplish anything."

We are very sorry that you chose to cancel your order with us, however, a full refund was issued back to your credit card the same day you cancelled your order.”
"Proline Hoods provided Very Bad Service. I returned the item because the hood was scratched and the blower was noisy. I had to purchase from Kitchenhoods.ca .They shipped it from Canada, arrived here quickly and in great condition. I do not recommend Proline, I do recommend Kitchenhoods.ca . Great people, great service."
"I ordered the hood in November of 2011 but did not get around to installing it until May 2013. It remained in the unopened box during the entire period until installation, at which point it was tested and found to be not working.When I contacted tech support they had me send photos of the disassembled controller and front panel, at which point they said they would send a replacement front panel.Additional emails on May 22nd and June 8th resulted in them saying the part was still on order. Today, July 31st, I phoned twice - once I was hung up on, and the second time was very rudely told that the part was still on order - for over 3 months! When I expressed that this seemed unreasonable the person on the phone got very snippy and even more rude and responded harshly when I asked when I might expect the part.I've learned my lesson - I now have a range hood that cost $1,000 but doesn't work, and the people who sold it to me don't care and are extremely rude and dismissive to the point of actually hanging up on me, and being an internet business, I have no business location to show up at in person to complain. The price savings was clearly not worth it."
"Company charged my credit card the day I placed the order, but they never shipped my item. Then I cancelled my order with the company, and I received confirmation of cancellation and refund. They never refunded my money, and then they shipped the item after my order was cancelled. I returned the item and still no refund. It has been a nightmare for me to get this item removed from my credit card. Customers please beware."
"I ordered a proline hood 6 weeks ago through this companies website. I have been very disappointed with the customer service. Originally I was told the hood would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. When I called at 4 weeks, they said it was 4-6 weeks. When I called at 5 weeks they said 6 weeks. Now it is beyond 6 weeks and still no hood. The lady in customer service is very rude and not helpful. If you need a hood quickly, or at all, I would not recommend this company. "
"This hood is 1. cheaper elsewhere, 2. made in China, 3. is not a reputable company.After initially having problems with the hood I had to replace the touch panel. Then I was told it is the circuit board. Proline then sent the wrong circuit board and when told about it asked me to take a picture of the circuit board I had removed. I did so, sent the photo of the circuit board and then then received a ship notice from Fedex. It has been three months. I've been told the part has to come from China - After repeated calls, emails, etc. Proline now refuses to answer me, my emails or phone calls.My fault in this was waiting too long to call proline - however, it was still under the warranty. I balked at trying to repair this myself. They have no field reps they can send. Beware the parts are under warranty, but not repairs."
