"I recently purchased the CompuPool 3GRC40GH Generic salt generator T-Cell 15 from PoolSupplyWorld. I easily installed the device and proceeded to monitor my AquaRite Goldline measurements. The CompuPool generator showed my salt level to be HI at 4700-4800. I had already had my salt level professionally checked and it was 3800. I followed the online instructions for recalibrating the Aquarite Goldline and there was no change to the HI salt reading. I tried this five times. The CompuPool device will not make chlorine when the salt reading is HI. There is no other adjustment I can make on the Aquarite Goldline. I had not had previous trouble with my system and was replacing a worn out Aquarite T Cell 15. I emailed PoolSupply World and the email response was to call CompuPool direct. I called CompuPool and was sent to a voicemail system. It has now been five days and I have had no response from CompuPool. I let PoolSupply World know by return email and there has been zero followup or response. I have asked to return the device to PoolSupplyWorld and there has been no response back. At this time I would not recommend the CompuPool Generic device and or the customer service of PoolSupplyWorld."
"Received my product promptly and at a reasonable price. 4 month later the product breaks and I am unable to circulate my pool water. Compupool was willing to honor my warrenty but was unsimlithetic to the problems and costs envovled in not cirrculating my water for two weeks, refused to put a "rush order" and would not processes the order with out my credit card and agreement to pay them if I did not return there damaged/unusable product within 10 days. I even offered to pay for shipping defective product back. Leary of giving my credit card out with a preauthorization to pay for a defective product I refused and so was my order. Brianna at Poolsupplyworld.com made a phone call and got my replacement product shipped immediately and with out my credit card or having to return a defective product. She also gave me some tips on keeping my pool water manageable until receiving my product. Thank you Pool Supply World and Brianna for putting customers and service first and for realizing that there customers are not just orders to fill but people to service. "I was ordering an expensive pool light from Pool Supply World through their web site, but when I would place the item into the cart it would jump in price $67.00 more. I contacted customer service and their live chat, but they wouldn't honor their own price listed on their own web site. AFTER I posted a NEGATIVE REVIEW, POOL SUPPLY WORLD called and said they would honor the price, so I placed the order with them. Several days later Pool Supply World called to inform me that they DID'NT EVEN HAVE THE POOL LIGHT IN STOCK and it would be several weeks before they could send one! Talk about dealing with a 3-ring circus..If it was this hard to order an item...I wonder how hard it might be to resolve an issue if there was a problem with one of their products? I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM POOL SUPPLY WORLD...seems one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing, and one certainly would not know when placing a order...was it REALLY ordered...even when they confirmed it was! "Not happy at all. Our pool pump died and after doing some research we found the best price (with their coupon) at pool supply world. After placing the order, I received a confirmation email. After a week went by without receiving any info on status (i.e. shipping date) of our order, I phoned customer service and was informed that our pump was backordered and they had just found out that day- a week after our order. We would not receive the pump for another 2 weeks. I canceled the order and my husband purchased the pump locally for $30 more since our pool was now turning green and our kids could not swim in it. I am highly disappointed we were not notified of the backorder sooner and that I had to call to find this out. Very frustrating experience- will not order from them again."
