“I checked your order’s notes and it appears that FedEx did mis-deliver the shipment. On 6-7-13 they were retrieving the box and running it out to your location. Currently the on-line package status shows as delivered. Please let us know if your package has not been received at this point. We are so sorry for this error and are addressing this with the shipping carrier.”

"1. Poor communication about order status (only a single email at time of order - which provides status but requires inconvenience of log on - vs. norm of getting receipt, shipping notice etc).
2. Slow delivery (arrived later than forecast - FedEx problem?)
3. Req'd Signature which further delayed delivery (good to warn folks of this)
4. Poorly packed (items loose in box which meant the boxes enclosed got 'dented')

An on-line experience that is pretty far below most."

"I know it's for security but the credit card authorization form is unnecessary. The faxing it back process caused my shipment to be later than the day I wanted. Plus there was no option for express shipping. "

At the time of your purchase your credit card bank was unable to validate that authenticity of the transaction thereby requiring us to do some additional tasks for the cardholders protection. Often we find that this occurs because the banks computer system was down at the time of sale. I see that your order was shipped and is scheduled to arrive at your location on 6-16-13. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist you.”

"the young man at polaroid who answered all of my questions was excellent. and the person who took my order was also fine. HOWEVER, I received a message at 8:01 a.m. on Friday, may 31, letting me know the camera would be delivered and I needed to sign. I STAYED IN MY APARTMENT ALL DAY. at 4 p.m., I went on-line to track the delivery and it said that the courier had come and no one was home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I called and was told I would have to go to phila. and pick it up. fortunately, someone listened to me and I received the camera 2 hours later. the people who assisted me were very nice but the entire incident was unnecessary and upsetting.

this entailed someone else having to go back to work after his shift was finished on a very hot day, which made me sad. and I had to raise a fuss which is atypical of me. however I was being punished for someone else's laziness and that is not acceptable.

I have never had a problem with u.p.s. perhaps you should look into this. I live in a retirement community with 2200 people and have been told that this is not unusual for federal express

that being said(!) the camera is perfect.

"No communication, I think my order was cancelled but nobody let me know. So this was the worst experience purchasing online.
Finally I went to Amazon and the purchase was excellent and I got a better price.
I forget to tell, my deduction my order was cancelled it is because when I went to link to track my order, in the trucking number says: VoID."

"I had a vacation planned, and was cutting an order for an underwater camera housing pretty close, but the item was in stock, and with the shipping and delivery estimates, even the high end of the scale, gave me a couple days to spare.

As the end of the expected time to ship (not to recieve it, but the couple of days it actually takes them to ship it out) approached, however, I did not receive a shipping confirmation number. After repeated emails, and pleading to know if it would arrive by my set departure date so that I could make other arrangements if necessary, I was assured the shipper was most likely just not able to update the tracking information online, and it would still arrive.

Sadly, the day before I was leaving, I got a phone call at 2 in the afternoon informing me that I wouldn't be receiving it, and they were refunding my money, as the item was never actually in stock. Now I have no time to find a replacement for my trip, and I am left wondering how after a couple weeks they just now found out it was out of stock (even though I had been communicating with them directly for over a week about expected arrival). Poorly run, bad inventory management, bad vendor relationship management... but the customer service was cordial and fairly responsive.. so at least they have that."

“We are very sorry for the inconvenience! As you explained below apparently the manufacturer of the PLWPCNEXC3SM thought the product was available when it in fact was not. Because the manufacturer was showing the item as in stock when it was actually out of stock you were able to order the item when that ability should not have been an option. We have notified them of this problem and they assure us it will not happen again. We are very sorry this happened!”
