Please note that it is clearly stated on our web site that over weight or oversized items can not be shipped free of charge. I wish it could be different but the tile you cancelled weighed close to 100 lbs and could not be shipped via UPS. We are required to cover the excessive shipping costs to maintain our lowest pricing guaranteed policy.

We should have advised you sooner that your 1 item was back ordered and apologize that this didn't happen and regret any inconvenience this has caused you. Your wife was advised that you will not be charged the cancellation fee and Im sorry this was not made clear.

I wish we didn't have to charge you a restocking fee.......In order to maintain the most competitive pricing in the industry we are forced to charge all vendor stocking fees that we receive back to our customers. This policy is clearly stated under our return and exchange policy on our site, I'm sorry it didn't seem clear to you at the time of placing your order. I will personally look into the delays you encountered in getting your credit issued to ensure this process is streamlined and efficient. "I placed an order for a bathtub faucet online (5/17/2013). Plumbtile (Manuela)contacted me the next day to inform me the item was on backorder. I informed them I would continue to look for the item elsewhere but to leave my order in place for the time being and not to charge my credit card unless the item became available. Two days later I did find the item I wanted and contacted Plumbtile to cancel the order. This is when I was told about the cancelation fee (12% of the original price)for an item. I informed them that thier sales representative told me I would not be charged for the item until it actually became available. After checking my credit card statement I relized the Plumbtile rep (Manuela) had charged my card after our conversation. I have had multiple conversations with Plumbtile since canceling the order and have been told my card would be refunded and no fees for cancelation would be applied. The last person (Manuela) I spoke with was the one who had originally contacted me about the backorder. She told me I would see my refund in hours on my credit statement that was 3 days ago and still no refund. I will never do buisness with this company again and would encourage all others to steer clear of this company. I do alot of shopping online and I have never had such a negative experience as with Plumbtile. I have resorted to disputing the charge with my credit card company since it is clear Plumbtile has no plans on crediting my card as they assured me would happen."
