"My order was for a Nikon D50 kit (18-55mm lens included). I placed the order on a Friday around 11:00 AM MDT and expected it to ship that day based on the site claim of same-day shipping on in-stock orders placed by 4:00 PM MDT. They didn't ship the order until the following Monday (Aug 21). I received the order today (Aug 24), true to the UPS 3-day shipping.
Thus far, my only complaint is the delay in shipping. The camera kit and the SD card I ordered appear to be unopened and in good condition. I would definitely consider pictureline.com for future purchases."

"When I first entered Pictureline's SLC store I was impressed. Beginning with the low key welcome from a salesperson to the upscale decor which begged for my attention at multiple displays I was drawn further into the store and the culture of Pictureline. Sales representatives had great product knowledgeable and stayed focused on my current needs and desires. I discovered that many of the sales reps were specialists in given products. I am a Nikon shooter and Pictureline has a Nikon guru, a Canon guru and a Leica guru as well as a software and peripherals guru.
I became a Pictureline regular after the Nikon D3 was introduced, Since that time I have not bothered to shop and any local retail camera store or online store. I was recently on a shoot and ran into another Nikon photographer. He was shooting a D3s with a Nikkor 70-200 2.8. He was looking for a wide depth of field, which that lens does so well. I wanted to highlight the subject and was shooting with a Nikkor 85mm 1.4 wide open for shallow depth of field. He noticed the lens I was shooting and mentioned that his 85 was on backorder from an online dealer, and he couldn't wait for it to come in. He had been waiting for weeks and I walked into Pictureline the day I heard the 85 was available and bought mine off the shelf. Funny thing is Pictureline's price was so close to the the online price and I didn't have to pay any shipping.
On one occasion I needed a small bracket and ordered it from Pictureline's site. With the price of gas and time required to make the trip personally I figured their bare minimum shipping cost was tolerable. To my surprise the bracket was at my door the next day.
My most recent purchase was a soft box for my SB900 speed light. It was a last minute purchase made on my way to shoot the largest client I have ever had. In a few short years and with the exceptional assistance of the staff at Pictureline I have moved from the occasional shooter of pretty landscapes and architecture to a profitable portrait photographer. "In preparation for a major adventure trip (with a major photography component)I purchased a Canon S3. To make use of filters, I needed a lens adapter and hood set LAH-DC20. I needed it quickly, for my trip begins on 3 August. On 30 July I placed an order with Amazon w/ overnight shipping. They showed the item to be in stock. On the morning of 1 August (the expected delivery date)I expected to to find a tracking number. What I found was a revised delivery date of 3 August. I cancelled the order. I found pictureline.com. They showed the LAH-DC20 in stock. I needed to be certain so I gave them a call. I reached them before their business hours (they're Mountain, I'm Eastern) so I left a message. Less than 10 minutes into their business day, they returned my call. They confirmed for me their stock status, and assured same day processing plus overnight shipping. The young lady I spoke with said she would pull one of the items I needed and set it aside for me. Moments ago the the item arrived at my office (2 August, ~9:00 AM). This is my first experience with pictureline. I give them extremely high marks for customer service. Thank you pictureline!"
"I purchased my Canon 7D from Pictureline and was impressed that they had the camera in stock when many other places did not. I chose to purchase my camera from them rather than from a prominent New York store because they had a kit with the lens that I wanted and their price was similiar. Even though I had to pay sales tax it was important to me have local service and support. Since the purchase, the sales staff have been wonderful, patiently answering all of my questions. They are professional with a complete working knowledge of the equipment that they sell. In addition, Picturline provides classes on a weekly basis in the areas of photography that are important to me. Their selection of equipment is very complete. I only shop at Pictureline for my photographic needs."

"This place has to be one of the best-kept secrets on the internet. I called on Friday to ensure the hard-to-find Nikon 70-200mm VR was really in stock. It was, I placed the order. Quick and painless. On Monday I get a voice mail saying they wanted to confirm my order. I thought uh-oh, hard sell ahead. Nope, they wanted to confirm my phone number to prevent credit card fraud and the order was going out today. I received my lens on Friday. Nothing to it!"
