"We love PetEdge! We foster dogs and frequently need a wide variety of items. Pet Edge usually has just what we are looking for in the form of beds, gates, leashes, collars, vitamins, treats, toys, etc... One of the staples in our house are pig ears and Pet Edge has the best deal we have found for a 100 ear box. Our last order was place on a Friday and arrived on Monday. Three days for shipping is supper!

Our only complaint is that we can't seem to get of the mailing list for catalogs. We do all our shopping on line and would prefer not to receive the hard copy."

"I started using PetEdge 10 years ago when I moved overseas and had no access to regular pet stores. Their prices are fantastic compared to regular stores, but you should mentally add 10% for shipping costs. To avoid their "small order fee" I order from them 2 or 3 times a year and stock up. They have a lousy search engine; keep your receipt for anything you want to re-order so you can find it online again later. They have discontinued a few items over the years but have had similar products for most of them. I have never had a problem with product quality."

"I will never order anything from this comany again!It pays to read reviews on companies before purchasing from them. If I had read all pet edge reviews I would of purchased anything from them. I orderd some red and pink doggy hair dye from them and instead of sending any red they sent both pink. These were only 10.99 each but the shipping was almost 20 bucks.The red was for christmas pictures. I called them right after I got my order and told them. They told me send it back for an exchange. I paid to ship it back, which by the way was much cheaper then what they charge to ship. A few weeks go by and hear nothing from them so I call them and they say they havent recieved it back yet.I get online and track it and yeah they got it back a week ago, so I call them back and say I tracked the order and you did it get it back. They say oh it can take up to a week for us to process it as being returned and we don't have u down as an exchange just a refund, the best thing we can do is you reorder it again. I said and pay shipping again? They said yes but we will give u 20% off your shipping today. I said NO Thankyou I won't be doing business with this company anymore! I still haven't getten my refund/exchange and am going to contact my credit card company. If your smart don't order from them because if they make a mistake they will not make it right. "

"We are a new grooming and doggie daycare shop. We were encouraged by other patrons of Pet Edge to check them out. We went to the Billerica store and purchaced a tub and dryer from the discount bin. We found the tub had a few dings and dents but it would hold water, so good enough for us. We got the tub back and had the plumber do his thing and he could not put the drain strainer in because the hole was too small. This was a manufactuer defect and should have been returned to them or at least when the first person returned it for that reason, we should have been told that we would not be able to actually use it without some heavy metal grinding. We did report this underhanded way of doing business and did not get much of a reaction from Pet Edge. It was more of a "sucks to be you" reaction. So when buying from the outlet, just be very careful and bring a tape measurer and a microscope and an engineer...."

"petedge.com claims they are all about quality customer service, and prompt, fast same-day shipping. I have used petedge.com for the past 7 years.

I placed an order shortly before 10am on Friday, 10.Dec.2010. As of today, 14.Dec.2010, my order still has not shipped. Their website is apparently full of inaccuracies in calculating shipment prices. They increased my shipping cost for an order total of $349 from $0 to $99.93. Based on this excuse, they decided to hold my order and notified me via EMAIL, not a phone call, but EMAIL. They repeatedly deleted my email replies with no response. So I finally talk to their supervisor, Erica, on Monday, 13.Dec.2010, who couldn't resolve my issue satisfactorily (so I removed several items and have since ordered from another supplier). But promised that the rest of my order would be shipped out immediately, on Monday.

I need these supplies for my business before end of this week for the holiday rush next week, which would not have been a problem if they had shipped on time on Friday. However, they have just now completely missed that deadline.

Their quality of goods, and variety of brands has dropped in the past couple of years. Because of this, I have other suppliers that I've been using. Guess the other suppliers will be glad to get the rest of my business now. "

"I had a great experience ordering from PetEdge.com! I placed a fairly large order and had it shipped to Canada so I was worried about customs, but it still ended up being cheaper than buying from Canada.
To buy from Canada, the clippers alone cost $230.
To buy from PetEdge, the clippers and 2 extra blades cost $270 with shipping AND customs. I also received a free pair of trimmers and 2 free pairs of 10 blades.
In the end I got $440 worth of merchandise for $270. I also received my package in less than a week!"

"This review applies only to the padded dog car harnesses. I have had no other issues with any of their other products.

The extra-small padded dog harnesses, ie the houndstooth, plaid, and ride right, state that they fit dogs with a girth of up to 18". However, when you measure them, they are only 15" long. As a result, the padded car harnesses do not fit dogs with a girth size between 15 and 20".

I have brought this to their attention several months ago with the houndstooth and plaid harnesses, but nothing has been done about it yet. The fact that they recently rolled out the ride right harnesses and they have the same issue states that they are choosing not to address this issue at all.

I am having to jump through a lot of hoops just to get a refund on the recent inventory I have purchased. Hopefully, this review will get their attention and they will finally address the issue of this product. I hope they choose to fix the harness. But if they only fix their website and their catalogs to show 15" instead of 18", that is better than ignoring the issue (which is what they have done so far)."

"I love PetEdge! I call in my order then pick it up at the Woburn store the next day. Friendly staff, great prices, the best products! I've been a PetEdge customer for almost 10 years and will be for the rest of my life!"

"Placed my order on Monday morning, and it was delivered the next day! Ok, I do live in the next state over, but I wasn't expecting it to show up so fast! Best prices and quick delivery...very satisfied!"

"I was a new customer to Pet Edge and was very pleased with the service. I placed a large, complicated order with items ranging from dog toys to grooming furniture and dryers. Every item was shipped promptly and arrived in great condition. Prices are, overall, competitive. The shipping costs are a bit high, and since I became a customer, I've received several emails advertising free shiping on select items. This might be worth an inquiry to the company regarding any ongoing promotions that are not reflected in the website."
