"Ordered on 5/1/12 thinking this would be a cheaper and more convenient way to purchase dog food. Requested PFD verify prescription directly with vet. As of 5/12/12, order still "in process", so I emailed to inquire why item had not shipped. Customer support responded PFD can't complete order without a Rx (yes, I am very much aware of that). When I placed my order, I had given PFD vet contact info to verify the Rx. So...5/15/12 still no communication from PFD, so I called and was told my order was cancelled because no response from my vet. Proficient customer service involves communication and a courtesy email or phone call to notify me of problems with my order. And yes...I checked my inbox and spam email folder. There was no attempt to contact me and that is my main issue here. What was intended to be a convenient purchase has resulted in aggravation and a waste of my time. "
"I ordered three cases of canned dog food, came in a box with no packing. The cans looked like someone drop kicked it on both sides. A whole case of cans are all bent, several are bent beyond opening with a can opener. Called customer service last week, said they would ship me a case for replacement of the damaged cans, but I haven't heard anything about a shipment! Will probably have to call again! Received the case they promised one week later, packed the way it should been packed."
