Recently my wife\u0027s laptop hinges broke and the laptop was not under warranty. I did a search on the web and found Parts People. What a great website! I ordered the hinges and they were in excellent shape as promised and fit perfectly. I really appreciated the videos. I will definitely recommend your website to all my fellow co-workers, friends and family. Keep up the good work! I have several old laptops I am probably going to refurbish and will be purchasing more parts from Parts People in the near future. They are very professional and prompt with processing and shipping orders.<br><br>My major issue is with their prices. It is convenient that Parts People is a one-stop destination for all the parts you need, but after ordering my parts, I checked prices for the same parts through other merchants and I feel as if I overpaid. In many instances the differences in price was a bit disconcerting. For instance, I paid $30 for the bottom plastic but found it later for $10. Parts People has the touchpad\/palm rest for $40 but it is avail from Amazon for $20. The price from Parts People was higher by a large percentage for everything I ordered. However, I used them because I needed the parts fast and wanted to order from one place without doing too much searching. It is not clear to me what accounts for the huge price difference and am interested to know. I had some problems with the first one that came. I called them up and the person I worked with was very helpful, and after asking a few questions about what was happening and what I had tried he agreed that the keyboard was DOA and shipped out a replacement the same day. I called expecting to have to jump through hoops to get this keyboard replaced and was very pleasantly surprised when they quickly agreed with me that it was a problem with the keyboard. Both times the orders were fulfilled and shipped quickly. Parts arrived on time with no issues. 2 day shipping was meant to be chosen on 2nd order but somehow normal shipping was entered. An email was immediately placed to rectify shipping to 2 day. Return email was sent that said 2 day would be used with no aditional charges added. Great customer service is hard to come by these days, but Parts People have it. The repair only cost $70 ($30 diagnosis + $40 replacement part). The laptop is working great now and I got it back quickly. Great job, Parts People! I highly recommend them for Dell laptop repairs.
