"Overall I am satisfied with PSA. I do not understand why it takes them 7 days to ship items when their competitors can do it in 1-2 days. It makes me wonder if they are practicing just in time inventory by collecting orders and filling them with the manufacturer as the products are not shipped from them but from a facility in the Carolina's."
"I placed my order on 1 September 2013 and my card was charged the same day. After a few days I called asking why my order had not shipped yet and they quoted the 5 days it said on their page to ship. I have called 3 times so far btw. The third time I called I was quoted the 5 days to ship, then A few sentences latter he said "O' btw, don't expect it to ship till Tuesday after next, we are running behind because of the holiday". He also said that when we order that it reserves those items for us that very minute. He said that because I already was questioning if they really had those items in stock.I let it go since it was a long distance call each time,and got off the phone. Keep in mind by this time it had already been a week, of course PSA just counted 4 days because of the holiday. Well Tuesday after next has come and gone and it is now the 18th of September. It has been 17 days since my card was charged and I still do not have my 5 boxes of CCI Velocitors. In fact they still have not even shipped. I emailed them today and will update as I get more info. My friend ordered 6 boxes the same day I did and he doesn't have his either. I go them that business but that is the last time that will happen. Judging from what the majority of everybody else has wrote, this company always has an excuse why they can't ship our orders on time. I'll wager they don't even have the product in stock they list. I ordered 2 games yesterday from AMAZON.COM and it's already here, perhaps PSA needs to learn from a real vendor. BTW, PSA if you are reading this, then I think you should know there won't be any of this refund of cash that you offered these other guys after you couldn't deliver. You have charged my card and contracted with me when you did so. You will ship my ammo and my friends or we will see you in court and you can explain to the judge why you can't ship products you falsely advertised on your page to have. I know you don't have them because if you did it wouldn't take over 18 days to ship. I ordered early on the 1st which was actually before the Holiday, and my ordered was charged and should of been shipped ASAP. It will be 3 weeks pretty soon, you lost any future business you could of gotten from me and my friends. I came to update this with current info, here is a PM I was sent by PSA on calguns.net, it seems they lied all along and never had the ammo they charged my card for after all. "Basically they aren't what I thought (to put it nice).. I placed my order for in stock items on 8/30/13 and was billed immediately. Now I know this was on a Friday, however it was before noon. Oh did I mention they billed me immediately.... I gave them the benefit of the doubt assumed it may ship the following week, but no e-mail with a tracking number the first week. So I attempted to call, and you probably know were that got me, you guessed it , NO ANSWER.... not even a voice mail option.... Finally after 11 days of waiting an e-mail shows up in my inbox with a tracking number, imagine that.... Claims I will have my ammo in 6 more days... Bottom line , DON'T ORDER FROM THEM, unless you want to wait over 2 weeks to get it.... Same price as Wal Mart (which has inventory now) and you get it the same day..."
"Placed my order for 2x50 9mm cartridges on August 14th. On Aug 16th emailed them asking for order shipment status. End of day August 19th emailed and then called (because no response to the email of the 16th). The rep said they will ship Wed August 21st (7 days but 5 business days) after the order was placed. I asked him where it said they take 5 days to ship and he said it was on their web site. So I went looking....On the terms page it does say that it may take up to 5 days to ship. Nowhere else that I could find did it say that. Not when I started to process another order and I don't remember it when I placed the first (and my last) order.So, if you place an order expect it to take a minimum of 5 business days to ship and then tack on the actual transportation time. The rep said they are a small company trying to do the best they can. I mentioned that I had ordered ammunition online from others and that they ship within 24 hours and he didn't appear to be interested."

I will order from them again !! and by the way every time I call them I am only on hold 3-4 min if that!! you can not get much better than that !!!! update 8-1-13 order a gun from PSA I did not read the fine print about shipping to a F.F.L dealer so I ask for a refund !!! "Ordered a package in late Jan. The website said it's in stock. 3 weeks passed there was no tracking info. I sent two emails for order status and was told 'would be shipped out soon'. It turned out to be delivered to me by the end of Feb. If it's back-ordered please say it on the website."
"Before the recent madness PSA was one of my 'go to' places for ammo and their super sales on some FA's and FA components. Recently, they (like everyone else that even resembles a FA maker/dealer/merchant) have been flooded with orders that have put them way, way, way off in terms of shipping speeds and customer service. Rather than bash them on that, I'm going to speak about my experience, pre-Sandy Hook.I've ordered several times through PSA. They always used to have one or two crazy good ammo deals, and GREAT shipping on 1K round case-lots (those that order in volume know how much shipping can kill a good ammo deal). Always got everything I ordered in good shape at an excellent price. From a pre-Sandy Hook perspective I had to call a few times and they were friendly and got the information I needed quickly. Used to have to call to get me shipping info, which I didn't like, but in later orders their email system for shipping my have been updated as it started to send auto-notices.More recently (post Sandy Hook) I needed an item for a project I was working on and KNEW going in that shipping was going to be an issue. That said, they claimed a 4 week backlog, my item shipped in about 3 weeks. It arrived in perfect condition and functions flawlessly. Some merchants have been cutting corners in the recent mess to keep up with orders, but as far as I can tall, PSA is still making quality items. I'll be waiting until this currently nonsense is over before ordering again, but I WILL be ordering from PSA again. You can bet on it."

"This company is terrible!!! They do not answer the phone if you can get through. They do not answer emails. I purchased an in stock item then and billed me instantly. After a several days I wanted to check my order and they stated it was out of stock. They did not notify me of the change in stock. I cancelled my order and 10 days later I have still not seen my money refunded. They are a very shady company and I would avoid them completely!!! They are THIEVES that have stolen my money!!!"

"First I would like to say I wished would have found this site before I placed my order on 12/19/12. The product was in stock and they immediately processed my credit card. Yet after several unanswered emails and calls, I finally received my order today 01/16/13. I was so excited until I opened the box to find my order short. I ordered 12 boxes of ammo and it only contained 10. The packing slip did not show any boxes backordered. These people either don' t care about retaining customers or the spread of bad publicity. I just wish there was something honest, hard working people could do to get some justice when businesses like this take advantage of them."
"I ordered some ammo on Nov 19, 2012 and got it probably a week later. That is not the problem. I had ordered a couple boxes of 9mm ammo and they sent me 2 boxes of .45 cal. I still do not understand how they could not notice the difference in the size of the boxes. On the 28th, I emailed them notifying them of the error, only because I could not get through on the phones. On 11/30, I received an email from Brian stating "I have annotated the missing items and the items received and we will get them sent. No response.On 1/8, I emailed inquiring whether it would be easier for me to just dispute the charges. His response was "Sir Im so sorry for the delay we have been working like crazy. I have your ammo in hand and will get it out tomorrow.Thank you and again im sorry for the delay and inconvenience.Adam Pike"12/16 I emailed again. It is not so much about the ammo as it is PSAs complete disregard for the customer. I am done. I will dispute the charges with cc company. I understand that they are busy but that is not an excuse. One day, they will probably be slow and will not have a clue as to why their customer base has moved to other companies that do value the customers business; and as far as I am concerned, it will not happen too soon. "
"Avoid Palmetto State Armory at all cost! I only wish I would have done a little more research before purchasing from PSA. Their shipping time frame is terrible, customer service is non-existent. In three days I have yet to be able to reach anyone on the phone. They don't even answer! Emailing them is no better. You will get an automated response that they are really busy to be patient! Now does that show any concern for a customer? They manage to charge your cc immediately but that's the only thing that is immediate! I feel like they are holding my $400 for ammo hostage. Don't know if I will receive my order or not. May have to call my cc company to try to recover the costs! Price was only slightly better than some excellent on-line sellers. Do yourself a favor, go with Lucky Gunner or Midway USA! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!"
"I ordered ammo, and after 2 weeks, I contacted them for a status via email with no responses. (they charged my credit card the very first day) They finally answer, and say that there's a 10% charge if I cancel my order. Outrageous!"
"These people have terrible customer service and shipping! You can not get anyone on the phone, when you email all you get in an automated reply saying someone will contact you in 48 hours, and then they never do. They are currently advertising their "12 days of Christmas" and they say their upper receivers ship in 3 business days. However my first order has not even shipped out and its been 8 business days. I have no idea when my order will ship, or when I will get it, but I am in the process of building a new AR, and I sure will not be going back to them to order anything!Avoid these people like the plague, unless you like having someone take your money and never contacting you to complete their end of the transaction!"
