"Ordered below item that was listed as "In Stock" for $323.50. Later received e-mail that the item was not available. Page Computer then raised the price hours to over $400 when it suddenly became available a few hours later.
"I ordered a PNY Gefroce 6800 GT for 332$. At the time of my order it was IN STOCK. Later that day, they canceled my order, saying it was out of stock. The SAME DAY, when I inquire they tell me they have more in stock, but this shipment now costs 405$
"I ordered a 6800GT that was listed as "In stock" for $323.00, I then received a notice that the item was out of stock and my order was cancelled. I refreshed the page containing the ad for the card and was suprised to see it's price listed as $405.00.
This is a classic example of bait and switch and I'll never buy from, or recommend, Page Computer to anyone.....
My advice to all is to avoid this outfit! "

"Meh. They accepted my order for a PNY 6800GT at a low price, $323.50. The card was out of stock at that moment, but was available the following day, at a higher price, $405. My order was cancelled by Page. I can't recommend them if they won't honor posted prices."

"As with the past 4 postings before me I am very disatisfied with Page Computer. I ordered a 6800GT only yesterday, called today to find out the status of my order... Rep said there was "good news and bad news"... The good news was that the item is in stock, the bad news is the item raised in price by $75... This is a scam, simple BAIT-AND-SWITCH tatic! Why do they post a price and not honor it? On top of this they raise the price above suggested retail. Suddenly, CompUSA and BestBuy offer a better deal. Go figure...
I dont suggest doing business with this company!"

"I purchased some Geforce 6800GT video cards from Page Computer for $323.50 each. They told me:
Thank you for placing your order with Page Computer.
Unfortunately, the product you requested VCG6800GAPB, NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800 GT 256MB DDR3 AGP is currently unavailable.
We try our best to fulfill your order as we appreciate your business, and your business makes our business successful. We feel it is in your best interest that we cancel your order, so that you have ample time to source the product from another supplier. We do not benefit from turning your business away and apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, we do not accept backorders because the manufacturers provide us with unreliable ETA's (estimated time of arrival) for their products. We would not be providing the best service to our customers by holding an order and not knowing when it will be available to ship.
We have attempted to source the item from all our suppliers across the country, but we were unsuccessful. On occasions, we receive more orders than we have products before our website is updated. Also if you ordered over the weekend, there is no one to physically research the order until the following working day. Please note that we are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
We have not charged your credit card. In the event that we have charged your card, we will reverse it immediately.
"I bought a GeForce 6800 GT video card, price $323 and their web site showed "in stock". The next day they send me an email saying the video card is out of stock, and they are CANCELING my order. No back order, they just cancel my order. Fine, fair enough. Then I go back to their site and THE SAME VIDEO CARD IS STILL "IN STOCK", they claim 15 cards avaliable. New price - $405!!!
This company is corrupt. Their website lies about their inventory, and then they further lie to their customers. I would never do business with a company as dishonest as this one. Their tatics are borderline illegal here in CA. I will be contacting the state attorney general to see what he can do. You can't just sell people something, cancel their order by lying about it's availability, and then go and say it's now "in stock" for a price TWENTY PERCENT HIGHER. This is called "bait and switch" and consumers shouldn't have to put up with it."
These guys might as well be named Wawa digital... Recieved defective camera and have been told flat out over the phone that they don't take back cameras in exchange or refund.Of course it took 3 hours on the phone for them to find Greg the RMA guy so he could rudely state a fly by your pants return policy statement that is not supported anywhere on the website. This, after pointing out to him that they're refund policy doesn't mention cameras as nonrefundable. Go ahead and read they're return policy for yourself...Now i'm left to deal with panasonic. Why does Cnet continue to give these clowns a positive rating? "
