"I had a somewhat difficult time finding the right product and confirming it was what I wanted with a sales rep via email. I was looking for a 106" Elite Screens VMAX2 screen with a white casing. The model number listed on the website was correct for the white casing but the description said it was black. When I asked the rep I was working with he said that the model number listed was for a black case. I had to take a screen shot of the model number off of the manufacturers website to prove to him that the model number was indeed for a white casing. Only then did he agree that it was for a white casing, but he didn't sound too confident that I was going to get the screen with the white case. So I just went ahead and ordered it and crossed my fingers. Luckily the screen I got was indeed in a white casing. This is something that the sales rep should have known or been able to find out. Instead I was left to do the research of the model numbers myself and then hope that the correct model number was listed on the site."

"Paid for 2 day shipping. Order arrived a day late. Good price on the item but because I had an IT guy sitting around waiting to install the RAM it cost me way more than the savings on the RAM. Called to explain and the rep said he didn't understand why it didn't arrive on time. He refunded the upgrade to 2 day shipping...not even the entire shipping. He said that was all he could do. You could have done better than that guys! I will have to think long and hard about future purchases if there is a time frame involved."

"I deal with many vendors on a regular basis. Provantage stands above the rest in accomodating my needs with invoicing, the quality of items, the availability of stock and their shipping is always efficient. In terms of purchasing, Provantage is wonderful to work with. The turnaround from creation of the PO to receipt of delivery is a matter of days. Invoices are emailed immediately at shipping so the full process is complete within 1 to 2 weeks. That's a huge 'win' when you handle Purchasing and Accounts Payable like I do."

"This review is primarily based upon my extreme dissatisfaction with their return process in May of 2013. I submitted an online return request and I had to make 4 follow up calls for a week to get the RA # in my hand. SO as I start reading this it says I have 10 days from receipt of this email not to have it in transit but to have it delivered to their return facility. Here is a quote:

"Your return has been assigned RMA# xxxxxx-0503. This number is valid for 10 calendar days, which means your package must be received at the return address listed below within 10 calendar days from today. This "10 calendar day" period cannot be extended, and RMA Numbers cannot be reissued."

Are you serious? This seems almost like a non-legit company although it's not. I mean really I have to prod and beg for an RA# and then your company throws down this kind limitations on me? So let's keep reading:

"Once we receive your package, your return will be processed subject to the Terms & Conditions of our Return Policy (available on our web site). Please allow up to 14 business days for us to process your return (unusual circumstances may cause additional delays)."

Clearly they operate at a snails' pace yet they expect you to operate like it's the end of the world.

I haven't received any of my orders from them in extremely timely fashion either whereas I have received many orders from Newegg or Tiger Direct faster than I hoped.

I wouldn't recommend Provantage for anything unless you can't find elsewhere but that is almost never true. I know for me it's just not worth the hassle in the event I have to return something. It just shouldn't be that hard.
