I did quite a bit of research on both price and model numbers before purchasing the Brake Buddy. Even the manufacturer had trouble confirming which was the the correct model number for the latest model of the Classic Brake Buddy. However, the person I spoke with at PPL knew exactly what the model number was and knew what I wanted. Also, the price was by far the best that I found anywhere on the internet. Only downside was that the item was sold as new and indeed it appears to be new but was loosely packed in the box with only small cardboard pyramid stuffing - no styrofoam or solid packing material. Perhaps that is the manufacturer's packing but I was not impressed.
