"Shady Company, horrible experience: PCRichard&Son Advertised a 51" TV as 720 dpi which I went ahead and purchased. A week after payment and before receiving item, I called customer service to inquire about TV and its true resolution and they confirmed that it does not show 720 dpi TV signal but lower. At this point I asked for a cancellation of shipping and order and they said it was in process that they could not help me till TV was in their hands. They gave me info of private shipping co they use and asked me to call them. I did and shipping co said they worked for PCRichard&Son not directly for me. I assured that item will not be received and would be refused to please send it back and asked confirmation number, which shipping co responded they did not do that.Two more weeks went by and I did not hear from PCR&S, called and Customer Service told me they could not help me with my return since I could have received item and still requesting money back. I answered to investigate and not to take my word but to check with Shipping co and confirm my story. Representative said they did not have TV and he could not do anything, again that it was possible I had it. Believe me that was the end of it, I gave them the benefit of doubt but this obnoxious treatment was not going to be tolerated, he put me on hold twice for more than 5 minutes, then finally followed my request to talk to a supervisor since I was going nowhere.Ridiculous company. Stay away from this shady institution! "
"Management team is incredible!!!Very professional and knowledgeable sales associates.. Let me first start off by saying The atmosphere in the building is so warm and comfortable!! I visited the store for the first time last week after having a terrible and frustrating experience next door at the Best Buy ..a friend of mine mentioned PC Richard to me and suggested I went over and gave it a try.. To make a long story short .I was looking for a good deal on a Smart television..however I had no idea what the "smart" feature even meant I just knew I had no television my big screen 50 inch completely died out on me the night before, my grandchildren insisted I become more up-to-date =\ ! I was greeted as soon as I entered the store by multiple sales people . After taking a tour around their large television display one of the sales associates came over .. her name was Tara and I must say she was very knowledgeable and explained every detail from top to bottom in the different televisions they carried she walked me through step-by-step how to use the smart feature on my television .which I am using right now to post this review =) (how convenient) I was not rushed she took her time with me ..the manager Andrew came over and introduced himself.. Very pleasant young man as well!! (I cannot remember the last time I actually was greeted by a manager in any other store) But getting to the point I ended up buying a 60 inch Sony smart television with a (sound bar) to help increase the sound of the television because I am hard of hearing. If it wasn't for my sales person taking the time out to qualify me I would probably still be using subtitles... The TV was delivered and set up the very next day and my big 200 pound old dinosaur TV was hauled away ! This is a great company and I give my word this is the only place I will ever shop for electronics /appliances / bedding and more due to my outstanding customer service! P.s I even got 12 months 0% interest opening a PC Richard financing card..!! "
"Be careful ordering anything from them. My order was never shipped after 6 days without any communication from them. After that calling them just to hear a different excuse every time. Finally they gave a bogus tracking number which they never actually shipped anything. Make sure you pay close attention to your credit card charges from them. The only deal I got from them is hassle and disappointment."
"PC Richard & Son has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Series gas stove a few months back. A little over a week ago one of the knobs for the range was stuck while the pilot was lit when i tried to turn it off it snapped off. My husband immediately contacted PC Richard & Son Customer services as we had purchased an extended warranty. He was told we had to wait until Thursday which was 4 days away before someone comes out to look at it. The tech cam out looked at the stove for two seconds and said a part had to be ordered and should be in within two days or so. By Saturday we had not heard anything yet so we contacted customer service and spoke to Mike who assured us the part would come in on Monday and to call back then to set up a date for a tech to come fix the stove. Monday came my husband and i called several times and were told the part never came in. Now i started to freak out because Thanksgiving is 3 days away i have a broken stove and family coming in from out of town as well as a three year old who i have not been able to cook for in over a week. All customer service said was well wait and see if it comes in tomorrow. I expressed the urgency of this issue. It's not like its a washer machine or a tv which are things i can do without for a while but I need my stove fixed and the best answer i get is "I dont know when the part will come in" and "It's a holiday and I can't guarantee it will be fixed in time. Needless to say this will be my first and LAST purchase from this store. I will stick to Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowes where they know how to treat their customers."
"One of my order was cancelled and I was never notified. Their customer service department needs a lot of work. Two of my other orders were also cancelled just because they have a stupid policy of not selling items to resellers. You guys are loosing on a big potential revenue stream."

"Very disappointed with this store. Bought a tablet, opened the box, obviously, tried working on it, didn't really like it. Came back to the store (within 30 days) to return it & the manager REFUSED to do a return. Because, I quote "The box has been opened and I've "used" it." Even though I had all the accessories and the box, tablet was in a new condition. Will NEVER shop at this store again."

"The worst. After installing a defective dishwasher in my mother's NYC apartment( it would not run at all),they installed a second dishwasher, also defective. Even though we could not get it to run, it caused a flood in the walls, damaging 2 apartments below and it too needed to be removed.(Both DW's were GE, and I was later told they were pulling the model from the website because they had had so many problems with them). I filed a damage claim for the building with PC; they admitted fault and assured me they would take care of the damages and repairs. This was November 2013..they have yet to address the damage. My 83 year old Mother has a brain injury and is being harassed by residents, staff and the building owner for an appliance she never even used, for reasons she does not understand. Subsequent emails and calls to PC Richards were ignored. Shop anywhere but there."
"I purchased so many appliances for my newly renovated home and was promised that I won't be disatisfied with my appliances. They even talked me into purchasing warranties for all my appliances for a high price tag. I wanted to purchase square trade warranties but they promised me that there warranties were the best. Promising me that these were no hassle warranties. After a year, my range broke down. I tried to use my warranty and the cons at PC richards came over to my house to look at my range. They saw a few mouse dropping behind my range and refused to fix my range without getting my whole house exterminated. Ok so I paid $50 to get my house exterminated and emailed my receipt to PC richards. They are now telling me that my warranty is void. The worst company to deal with. "I recently purchased a car stereo and speaker system for my son’s car as an early Xmas gift. When I e purchased the whole system, I told the salesperson that I needed the entire system so that my son could listen to music in his car (a 1991 Volvo 240) since it had no radio. I was assured that store would install the system, but I would need to purchase some additional parts, which I did. Once the parts came in, I was scheduled an installation appointment on Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 at the Manchester store. When I arrived there for my appointment, I was told rather rudely that the installer had no time to install the stereo and I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled for Wed., Nov. 21st. When I brought the car in today, I waited 2 ½ hours for installation which I assumed included the speakers since it was stated on my receipt. Imagine my surprise when I got the car back with no speakers! When I called the store, I was told by a manager that it was my fault that I had purchased the wrong size speakers (no one told me what size was needed and I assumed that the salesperson would tell me the correct ones) and I would have to come back yet again to purchase an entire new system with speakers since the system I bought only worked with the speakers that came with the stereo and did not fit my son’s car. Not only that, but I would also have to reschedule yet again for installation, This would make a total of 4 times I had to come to the store to simply get a stereo and have it installed. To be honest, this was the first and probably last time I will ever shop in your store. Not only that, but since I work with the public, I will tell people every chance I get about my terrible experience at your store. I had hoped to get my son a Xmas gift and instead got a terrible experience."
"The company charged my card on some one else order they cant find my order number .and they send me an old model tv instead the one i ordered every time i called they told me that i dont have an order with them and when i call the credit card company they told them that i ordered 2 tvs the provided falls recipets with a fake signutre they runing a ponzy sceam with samsung tv i called samsung and they told me that the model that i got not to be sold its for show room only "
"I bought a Samsung flat screen tv from PC Richards in Newington, CT. The sales person was very pushy trying to get us to buy the floor model tv (which by the way was not turned on) and said it looked exactly like one of the models they had hanging on their wall. Well needless to say, when I got it home, the tv has a horrible picture quality as well as a drag in the picture. Seeing that it is a floor model, I was told I am not able to return it. I was at least smart enough to buy the warranty and I will be calling them to repair this tv. Needless to say, I will never buy another product from them again. Apparently since they work off commissions, they don’t care what type of product they sell, as long as they sell it!"
