I made the MISTAKE of trying to complete a purchase of a video card.
The video card displayed in the picture online matched the exact card I was trying to replace in name, brand and model as well as all specs.
I assumed it was possibly refurbished as the price is half that of the regular retail but have had fine experiences with refurbs in the past so I didn't hesitate. I place my order online through pcdirect.com
The next morning I get a call from a guy named JOSH who tells me the picture is wrong and the video outputs are different and not what I need.
After going round and round with him looking for the right card and then sending me a picture of a different card - it seemed they finally found what it was SUPPOSED to be in the first place.
FIVE DAYS LATER I finally get the card and the output was not right!
I immediately tried calling but after 12 minutes on hold got angry and sent an email instead.
To which the reply was that I would have to pay a restocking fee as well as the return shipping.
NO WAY I said.
And a war began between this JOSH character and myself.
As per previous posts here and other sites - NO, these yahoos do NOT know what the heck they are talking about.
S-Video was never really standardized BUT the 9 pin configuration was RARELY used and wasn't used since the late 80's. Yet, they are selling cards now in 2013 with 9 pin S-Video out.
But, this fool josh was trying to tell me my equipment is ancient. NO - TV was made in 2005. Older but certainly not ancient.
Maybe if they knew what they were talking about some of the problems wouldn't exist. Maybe if they didn't pull the BAIT AND SWITCH routines there wouldn't be these problems either. Maybe if they didn't hire ignorant, inbred white trash as employees there wouldn't be these problems. DEFINITELY in the future I will be ordering form anyone other than PCDIRECT.com.

Five days to get my card - not even the right card - being charged to return something that wasn't even what I ordered - does that sound like GOOD BUSINESS to you?
The guy "JOSH" is the most disgusting animal of a person I have ever had the DISPLEASURE of being forced to deal with and because of his attitude - I WOULD NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS with this company again for ANY reasons. So now, after waiting five days - spend another day fighting and being mad - now I have to wait another few days for them to send me some kind of ADAPTER so the card will even work!!!!!!
I am BEYOND DISGUSTED.
DON'T try to save money - go to a local store and buy what you need at normal prices - you DO get what you pay for in this world."
