"This company has filled a niche for me in years past...providing low-cost CD's or DVD's of downloadable software. It was convenient not to have to depend on a working computer or wait on a slow connection. After my last order placed Jan. 10, received Feb. 28, and only after filing a PayPal claim, I will NEVER order from them again. They lie about sending the order and don't respond to inquiries. Terrible customer service!"

"Horrible company, I have been waiting over a month for my order to arrive! The first tracking number was never recognized by usps and neither was the second. I have called and emailed multiple times and now they are not returning my emails, and have never returned a call! Never and I mean NEVER order ANYTHING from pctech101.com, they will take your money and you will get nothing for it. I am currently awaiting a response to my email telling them to refund my money so that I can find somewhere else to get my operating system from......so much for testing my computer build.....

Edit 2/8/11: they have finally shipped my package and upgraded it to priority mail, it is a nice gesture considering it took them over a month to ship it. I still do not recommend this company however."

Since I can only vote one time for this merchant, despite the fact I have ordered 6 or 7 times from the vendor, I am updating this review.

I placed 4 orders in 2009 and 2 so far in 2010.
Every shopping experience was positive.

There was only one instance where I experienced problems and that was the USPS' fault, as far as I know. An order with over $100 in CBT courses was never received.
The package was shipped with delivery confirmation but I never received the package.
I guess delivery confirmation includes dumping a pkg on someone's doorstep and "hoping" the pkg doesn't get stolen before the receiptient can get to it.

PCtech101 worked with me regarding the order.

After filling out some forms at the USPS office and providing PCtech101 with documentation regarding the lost/stolen package, PCtech101
replaced my order.

All the other orders were filled quickly and arrived in good shape via USPS. In yellow padded envelopes.

One of my first orders was for 3 training packages (CBT - computer based training) and all were received in good shape.
Took about 1 week to arrive via USPS. Not back considering I'm on the opposite coast.
