"I placed 3 orders for memory from PCNation in a 3 day time span. The orders were for server memory.

I received the 3 orders a week or so later. Two of the orders proved that the memory was correct. The last order contained memory for a couple of servers which both take differing memory.

All memory part numbers in the final shipment were identical and none were correct for either server nor did they match any number on the invoice.

I then requested an RMA to return the memory and was told that it would be several days before they could provide an RMA. I finally received an RMA a little over a week later. We sent the memory back directly and I assumed that all was taken care of.

3-1/2 weeks later I received a notice from PCNation that they had received the return and were "reviewing" it.

I received a box today with the memory I sent off to PCNation for the refund with a denial of refund as the time from initial purchase had exceeded 90/45 days.

We are now out $360 and I have memory I cannot use.

PCNation will be getting no more business from this sysadmin! "

"This was the worst online experience I have ever had. They advertised the HP 5310m with an operating system of Windows 7. When I received it, it had Windows XP loaded. I called the sales department and they lied to me saying that it should have Windows XP when clearly on the website it stated Windows 7. They directed me to websites that were of NO help and in the end, offered to sell me Windows 7 at a discounted price. The absolute audacity of the customer service person floored me. Why would I pay for a product I already purchased?"

"The whole thing was going fine until the printer developed an issue. No problem, right? Start a RMA... You have to talk to HP before we proceed.. OK.. HP says nothing wrong.. PCN sent me a replacement anyway!! Now they want me to pay to ship back what they shipped me without my approval and acknowledgment! "It clearly states in the Return Policy..." Oh. the one I had to go look for.. that isn't presented to you as you check out! That Return Policy? I can see the Credit Card Company getting involved here as I will not stand for being charged to return defective products, especially when they have a "Hassle Free Return Policy". I will not be purchasing anything else from them again. I advise others to do the same till they correct their attitude about Product Returns. At this rate it will have been cheaper to buy locally!"

"I ordered a link theater because it claimed to stream high def video from my pc. It cannot handle the format media center uses for high def video. Despite this I was told I'd have to pay a handling fee for return. I returned the item to the address they provided. After two weeks, and confirming arrival, I emailed, but received no response. After three weeks I phoned and was told the item would have to be shipped from where I was told to ship it to somewhere else before they would process my refund. I still haven't received any communication or refund.

The product did not perform as advertised, and the customer service is below par. I would NEVER shop here again."

"My wife ordered a GPS online, they sent a "shipping conformation", took out the cash from account and 7 days later, when my wife called, "will" said they were back ordered. How are you gonna be back ordered and ship my product at the same time? Horrible service... DO NOT ORDER FROM!! Take heed, this could be you!!!"

"The item I ordered from PCNation was shown as instock and that it would be shipped within 24 hours of purchase. The day following my purchase I received an e-mail indicating the product was backordered, however when I browsed the PCNation site the item I ordered was still listed as in-stock. It has been over 7 business days since I placed my order and I have still not received the item nor have I received any additional e-mails from PCNation regarding its status. Additionally, PCNations website is not allowing me to log into my account to check the status of or cancel my order. Needless to say, I feel as if I have been lied to regarding the availability of the product I purchased and had I known this in advance I would have never made the purchase from PCNation. If I ever receive the item I purchased it will be the LAST time I ever shop at PCNation.com."

Ordered a replacement bulb for my Panasonic projector because they had the best price with their "Free 3 day shipping!".

The order info showed a status of "shipped" and they went ahead and charged my credit car.

So far, so good.

I check back 2 days later expecting my bulb to show up and there's no tracking number. Curious.

So I send them an e-mail and get a reply about 8 hours later that the item actually HASN'T shipped yet.

I Immediately get nervous about an online vendor that bills your credit card without actually SHIPPING the product! Especially when they report that they DID ship the product.

The next day I reach a customer rep after a short wait on hold. He very politely blames "weather conditions" for the delay. Apparently the February weather in California is a real disaster.

I explain to him that telling me an item has SHIPPED when it HASN'T and BILLING my card at the same time is questionable business practices.

He apologizes but discovers that the product DID ship JUST 2 days late and it has a tracking number!

Okay....now we're getting somewhere. Except the product shipped GROUND and will take 5 days to reach me instead of the "Free 3 Day Shipping!" that brought me to PCNation in the first place.

He apologizes again and tells me there's nothing he can do for me.

"Placed an order online Sunday, received a telephone call confirming my shipping address Monday, and then Thursday COB received a call from PC Nation that they would not fulfill my order unless I paid $100 more as the promotion that was offered when I placed my order was no longer valid."

"If you are even thinking of purchasing anything for PC Nation - DON'T DO IT! There total lack of customer service and disreguard for you as a customer when calling with questions has been the worst on line shopping experience I have EVER had! It is bad enough when a company is un-truthful, but when you even ask for help from upper management and are talked down to - they have to understand that it is "our" money and customer loyalty that writes their paychecks. Save your money and chance of total frustration, SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!"
