"We placed the order on December 1, 2007 for a sleeping bag for my daughter for Christmas. They said our charge card would not be charged until it shipped. $39.00. On December 10th the card was charged. We thought "GREAT! It is on its way." NOTHING!! By the time we got done with the unanswered calls and emails and their automated system, we were back to square one. After giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting for the refund (which never came) it was too late to dispute with our bank. Even involvement with the BBB was fruitless. Last I heard from them was April of 2009. They had "opened a cased" with their accounting department to get this taken care of. I faxed everything they wanted to 864-752-1417 and hadn't heard anything. It was supposed to "take just a day or so from this point". Sad to think of how many people have lost $30 here or there. Sad that no one can shut this company down.Buyer beware!"
"Placed an order Nov 9 08. Emailed them 18th and 21st November and have received no response other then the same we are having technical issues with web site responses. The system outage should be resolved in the shortly; we are currently installing new hardware and restoring the lost data from backups. They are also not answering phones"

"If you have read all of the ratings for this store - believe every one of them!!!! I ordered a propeller on 1 September and received nothing for two weeks. After emailing and talking with their customer service (twice) they assured me it would be shipped immediately. Two weeks later - nothing! I just called and canceled the order - for they still hadn't shipped it. Their service representative had the gall to tell me that 95% of their orders ship within three days. But he couldn't explain why I had been waiting a month! The thing that pushed me over the edge was when he admitted they had 100 of the propellers on the shelf in the warehouse. WTF?"
"This is the worst company I have EVER done business with. Ordered item from them, listed as "in stock" on website. Check the online order following system a week later and it hasn't shipped, and it was "in stock"? Wait another week and then call to ask when it would ship, told that there was a computer glitch and orders had to be resubmitted-the glitch did not affect my credit card being charged for the full amount already! Wait another week then send an email, they say it should go out anytime now. Try to call to cancel but only have had a person pick up one time out of 15 or so calls. DO NOT use them under any circumstances."
"This is my edited review of OutdoorSuperstore.com. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! This has been one of the worst experiences i've had buying online. I ordered a tent from their online store that stated and still states that the tent is "in stock" and I'd selected overnight shipping. It has now been two weeks and no tent...and I've submitted a complaint to the better business bureau. This store is a sham. You call the toll-free number and you're on hold for 15 minutes until it finally goes to voicemail. Their website and hold messages are a pretext to make you think you are working with a large well staffed company. I'm a very dissatisfied customer and i've dealt with them per their statements on their website to no avail. This is not the way to do business."

"Ordered on Saturday, understandable that there would be a slight delay in shipping. Website list item as "In stock", and that will be shipped within 48-72 hours. After 3 emails the item has still not shipped (6 days later), and not a single response to any emails sent to customer service. I'll be purchasing my outdoor equipment elsewhere."
