"Optics Planet,
I like your service at great prices and I've purchase other products from you in the past. Often times I can find things that you stock and no one else seems to have them not even Brownells or MidwayUSA. Your mail delivery is great even up here in Alaska. The only problem I have is ordering online, often times you can't see the product until you receive it... to make sure it fits. I had ordered some Leupoold 3Omm rings for my Sako 85 rifle and the first set was wrong so I had to reorder. Suggestion, you might try puttin a few more questions online that narrows the search to a specific item, show a top, sides and bottom view at best angles, and possibly put all the items together in one catagory ie Rings with oval and circular bases(Do a comparison photo showing model differences).

"WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE !! Ordered a Lucid HD7 sight on February 25 and was notified the item was on backorder. I called a couple of days later and was told there were 33 Lucid orders ahead of me. It was explained that I would automatically be notified when the inventory was replenished to confirm that I still wanted the order to go through. March 6: spoke with Russ. He indicated there were 2 dozen ahead of me. That told me items were trickling in and being filled. Excellent (So I thought). March 11: spoke with Jay. He is not real helpful. March 19: spoke with Ursula. Said I was 28 on the list. Oops, I guess Russ was just a little off on his earlier count. Ursula said they usually get 50-100 in a resupply so it should cover my backorder. April 5: Oh, shit. Get Jay again. Says nothing has come in. May 1: almost a whole month since last making a call but I had been checking for e-mails from OpticsPlanet during this time. Late in the evening and I go to the website and pull up the Lucid HD7 listing. Website says “…only 4 left.” Wait! WHAT !! There are some in stock!?! What happened to my backorder? I check my e-mail, nothing. I go back to the website and plug in my order number from February 25 and the status is still “backordered...no availability estimate”. I pull up the Lucid HD7 listing again and place a 2nd order and it processes with a statement it will be shipped in the next few days. WTF ! The next day, May 2, I call to confirm that there were actually items in stock and that the order did go through. The young lady who took my call was very nice and confirmed that yes the item was in stock and my order was processed. I informed her of my February order #, the frustration with previous calls and the over two months of waiting. She could not explain why there was a breakdown and why my previous order was not filled when inventory had been replenished. I made sure she canceled that February order number. For my inconvenience she applied a 5% discount to the current order. While I appreciated that, I felt there should have been more of an accommodation considering it took TWO months AND, if I had not checked the website, who knows when I would have gotten the Lucid sight if those 4 left had been sold. A very, very disappointing experience with OpticsPlanet."

"I ordered a pair of Oakley frames.
they had a defect on the stem.
I returned them per their instructions.
they sent back another pair, but then charged me $32 as the price of the frames had gone up on thier site. this was a warranty return!!
I called and they told me to go ahead and dispute the charge.
MULTIPLE HASSLES I DIDNT EXPECT OR APPRECIATE AND ADDITIONAL UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES TO MY CREDIT CARD>"

"Well I am a little disappointed. My order has been delayed due to back ordered items. The shipping department has shipped part of my order as requested. However, two items have been duplicated and shipped two times. I would like to get this cleared up. I need authorization to ship the two items back at Optics Planet's cost. I still have one item that has not shipped. I believe it is now in stock. Wrong invoice #4084374 I hope we can get this straitened out an the proper discount will be applied to the remaining item on the original order."
