DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO! ordered June 11th. Email sent to me confirming order and saying it will be shipped within 48 hrs.. Next day new email, "call to confirm order" wrote back saying Its ALREADY been confirmed gave order number, tracking number etc. . No reply. Wifes birthday came and went. no present to give. Called back. Store closed. Called back. 40 min wait, then hang up on me. Next day call back 20 min. wait, told the guy who wrote the letter telling me to call to confirm "Ed M." what I was calling about, puts me back in the Que. 15 mins. later their computer disconnected us somehow. called back 20 mins later and almost out of cell minutes, he comes back on to tell me that my product is on at least 3 week back order. He couldn't understand my frustration at why they didn't just TELL ME THAT IN THE EMAIL! TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH SAVE YOURSELF THE ANGER AND FRUSTRATION< DEAL WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO RUN A COMPANY!

DO NOT BUY ANY ITEMS FROM ON TIME DIGITAL. It's all a scam to try to sell you higher priced product. My experience was identical to those written on this site.

Placed an order for a Canon 40D. Never received a confirmation email so I check the website, which said the order status was "new Order" Called next business day to confirm, I was asked if I wanted to buy a battery or accessories. When I declined stating that I was upgrading from an earlier model, I rep said the order would be shipped next day.
I received an email within 10 minutes stating the order was now on Backorder. This seems to be a common practice with these online retailers if you refuse to be upsold.
Called back to customer service who said the website was not up to date, which doesn't explain that the price was dropped $40. I cancelled my order.

I placed the above order, received no confirmation so phoned & emailed. I was informed the item was NOT in stock as indicated on the website. I was also "urged" to purchase a warranty for about the same cost of the camera which I declined. I then cancelled my order since the item would not be available for at least 2 months & requested a cancellation #. The customer service rep hung up on me.

I placed two order with this company may 21.22 and the next day recevied emails to call to verify, salesman was VERY VERY pushy and nasty about buying upgrades. Wanted to sell me a 3 year warranty for 149.00 which i bought elsewhere for 19.99, wanted to sell me Memory cards from 119.00 to 169.00 which sell everywhere for 20.00 to 40.00. wanted to sell me a battery for 59.00 to 119.00 which ONE comes with the camera and sell elsewhere for 20.00 to 40.00. When I told both these guys NO. they HUNG UP THE PHONE with NO good bye, NO thank you, nothing. Then an hour later my orders when into BACKORDERED. When i called to find out why did it Say IN STOCK when i ordered and NOW backorder they refused to answer and said it would be 6 to 10 weeks to get camera. They DONT answer emails or return phone calls. SO i filed a complaint with BBB of New York who suggested i cancel the orders and notify my credit card company. DO NOT BUY from them. IF YOUR order goes into BACKORDER you will NEVER get the item unless you pay for the OVERPRICED Accesories they are pushing. Was told there is NOT even a STORE at the address listed on their customer service information. SO THEY ARE RIP OFF and SCAM ARTISTS, DONT BUY FROM THEM
6/12/2009 update, after telling them i did not want upgrades they CANCELLED my orders without telling me. i have filed complaints with BBB of NY. they are also known as 86th street photo, and Stop & Shop Digital This review was modified by its author, Kevins51, on

I ordered an Olympus Stylus 1030SW at a price of 149.99 in my shopping cart with a carry case and memory card it brought the total to 219.99+shipping. I placed the order and two days later I received an e-mail w/a ups tracking #. I then received a package from Mega Wholesale from a Simon Silver which isn't On Time Digital. I opened the packaged and saw an invoice for 477.99 total. Apparently they added a battery, battery charger, & a 3-yr warranty onto my order. The camera didn't come with a battery. Why would someone buy a camera w/o the necessities to make it work. I called up an Eli Silver and he tried to explain to me that I made a great deal by adding on those items. He then told me he was going to send me an e-mail w/the listing of all the items and their price. I have yet to receive an e-mail from them. However, I never gave them authorization to add any items to my order. Instead, I got an invoice for over twice what I had thought of. I got ripped off and reported them to the BBB. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. IT IS A SCAM!!! Learn from my mistake.

I ordered a Canon HFS100 with an MSRP of $1099.00 on 5/21 after finding On time Digital on the site EveryPrice.com a purported site of comparisons for price with what turn out to be bogus ratings. Every Price.com reflected the camera was in stock at a $675.00 price. The On TimeDigital Site refleted shipping in 24-48 hours. I would suggest EveryPrice .com is part of their up front scam. I inquired by email about the status of my order and got no reply so I called on 5/28 and was told my order at the $675.00 (on 5/28 they were advertising a $599.00 price) price was on backorder and it would take 5-6 weeks for delivery, but if I wanted to upgrade with the "package" for $1050.00 they could ship the order that day. As I started to ask how they could have the "package" and not the camera I purchased the guy hung up on me. So I called back to their Customer Service line and the first question I was asked was did I wish to cancel my order, I said no switch it to the $599.00 price. The rep said she would do that and then said it was on backorder and hung up. I called back and cancelled the order and requested email confirmation. I did receive email cancellation confirmation. I started to tell her I would complain to BBB and NY police and was hung up on again. I did complain to BBB. I don't think it would do any good to complain to NYPD.

These guys are crooks. I order a camera from them and after receiving an order confirmation where I had to call in to confirm the order the phone rep tried to first sell me a battery and charger b/c he claimed the camera doesn't come with either, except both were way over-priced. When I declined he then tried to sell me a SD memory card, again over-priced, then he tried to get me to buy an entirely different camera, again over-priced. I asked him to just ship me what I ordered, this is when he told me he was cancelling my order and hung up. This site is a TOTAL SCAM.

I just ordered a camera from ontimedigital.com scumbags. I submitted altered information except for my email address ( because I want to get their pissed-off e-mails so I can tell em to fck off). I submitted fake payment information and guess what - they said the order was approved and I got a confirmation and receipt. That means they intentionally don't charge your cc right away until such time as they've berated you with special offers, alternate items, extras, and the good ol out of stock story. But what the heck, everyone who reads this, whether previously burned by them or not, should do what I did to fill up their system with useless orders. Thanks to all of your reviews, I was spared what some of you have gone thru with these a$$holes. So, go to ontimedigital.com and order away - don't forget to slightly change all your info and payment info. They'll love you for it. If I get any emails from them, I'll be back to post it here..

Wow What an absolutely horrible experience. These crooks are seriously retarded. I call up to confirm my order and of course I'm told that I should buy the 149 battery. I decline. Ok well the product just went on backorder for 6 weeks "do you understand" repeatedly yelled at me. What an a--hole. And the last review -- clearly made by an employee of this horrid group of low lives.

James told me the unit I ordered only had the 2006 maps but he could give me the 2009 maps for an additional $79.00. I declinded and said the 2006 maps would be OK. He then offered me the 2008 maps for only $69.00 more. I told James the 2006 would still be OK. At that, James said they were out of the version with the 2006 maps and the best he could do was a 2009 version with a charger for $225.00. When I refused, James said my order was cancelled and hung up.

SCAM ALERT! I will not be mentioning anything too different from all the other reviews of this fraudulent company. They do a bait and switch. I wanted to order a Nikon D90 SLR body, which was advertised for $599. I was then baited into a bundle that supposedly had a better lens for a better price, and this body would be a magnesium body, rather then a plastic body like the product I was originally interested in. Well, turns out that Nikon does not make a plastic body for the D90, so that was a flat out lie. Also the lens did not come in a box upon arrival, therefore, according to Nikon, it could not have been new (as the salesman stated), but rather refurbished.
The CSR, Sean Federline, was not there to provide support...I am not sure he knows what customer service is! Instantly upon discussing the return of the order and my dissatisfaction with the product, his tone became hostile and he refused to even discuss it.
Lastly, the return policy basically states that bundles can not be returned, so the fact that Sean Federline never mentioned a restocking fee (even after mentioning a possible return in the future if I was not satisfied) is irrelevant.
I will be filing a complaint through AMEX. I will update this review when I find out if that is successful in case others are still trying to set things straight with this company.
