"Ordered through ramseeker, but decided to get a little better memory for my macbook. Received the package in two days via USPS. RAM appears to have passed checks. Reviews worried me a little but I'm glad things worked out."

"RAM ordered 3/24, returned with RMA and confirmed to be delivered back at Omni on 3/31. Now it's 4/24 and the refund for the order has not been processed despite 5 phone calls and repeated assurances that the refund would go through that day.

I would NOT recommend them by any means even though they do have low initial prices, as their customer service has proved to be terrible."

"Ordered PowerBook RAM, excellent price. However, first chips delivered did not work at all. They accepted the return and sent replacements.

The second set seemed to work, but I began to have random kernel panics. Apple Hardware Test CD showed that one of the chips had defective blocks.

Removed it, kept using the other. Worked well for about 10 months, then went completely bad -- AHT would crash trying to test it!

Guess that's what I get for buying cheap generic RAM."

"Rude and subpar service.

They reel you in with the lowest price, then stiff you (dealram needs to STOP ENDORSING THESE THIEVES).

Ordered some RAM on 11/30 and my credit card was charged. Two days later, I received no email from them or shipping confirmation, so I email them and ask why. They email me back with an order cancellation. No explanation, no apology, nothing--they didn't have the dignity or professionalism to address the problem, so they just cancelled the order.

Wasted two days of my time and tied up my money, then respond belligerently. Makes me think that they didn't even have the product in stock.

The BBB and their local Chamber of Commerce will also be hearing from me.

Buy elsewhere if you want to be treated properly, even if it costs a little more."

"I orderd TWO WEEKS AGO, and my order is 'still pending'. Absolutely horrible service. Thank goodness American Express will deal with them. The website looks like it's a sham. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. "

"I must have gotten lucky. I ordered from here twice. The first time there was a little delay, but the order arrived in one week. The second time it arrived in just under a week. Both times I did not get a tracking number though. The memory seems to work fine in both systems. Used the reference through dealram website to get the best price."

"After ordering (a single memory chip) on 9/21, I recieved an order confirmation. 2 days later, my credit card was charged. On 9/30 I inquired about shipping status. The response was terse "we're sorry for the delay". No mention if the item would be shipped, had been shipped, etc. I replied tat if it had not been shipped, cancel the order. They did. No refund. After 2 days of email, their response was that it could take 7-10 days to get a refund. This is a violation of every charge card company, they are required to ship in order to charge the card. Customer service is atrocious... English appears to be a distant second."

"Price discrepancies with original website vs ramseeker.com caused some concern. Called operator & received prompt help and advice. Called back to complete internet order, per rep's recommendation to get lowest prices and confirm product in stock. Rep was helpful. Awaiting arrival of order w/ USPS priority mail"

"Purchased their HYPERFORMANCE RAM Memory after reading their product specs and speaking with their Tech Support WOW!!! What a HUUGE DIFFERENCE!! My system loads and runs at INCREDIBLE SPEEDS. It was DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA 20 bucks I spent over their regular RAM. Incidentallly - after reading the other reviews about late shipping and cancellations I should add that they must have fixed their fulfillment problems - My order arrived 48 hours after placing it via Priority Mail. This was an EXCELLENT DEAL!"

"Classic bait and switch. Price seemed too good to be true...and it was! I ordered some RAM via their web site. Received a confirmation e-mail shortly thereafter stating the order had been received and confirmed and "You will receive another email with your Tracking Number when your order ships". 2 days later I received a vague e-mail claiming some kind of error and asking me to call them right away (even though I had provided both an e-mail and phone number should they need to contact me when I placed the order). So, when I called they said the price was too low and blamed it on another web site...even though I had saved a copy of their web site in anticipation of their little games (thanks to reviews on this website). Anyway, they tried to sell me the same item for a higher price. I asked them to cancel the order and credit my charge card. After 8 days, I followed up with an e-mail and reminded them to credit my charge card. 15 days have gone by now and no credit to date. Bottom line: BEWARE!!!"
