"I've had two experiences with this store, and both were excellent.
The first purchase was shortly after the new year, and was for an APC Back-UPS which was advertised on the website as being on sale for $15 less than the usual price.
I called before heading out to make sure the physical store would honor the online price, and not only was I assured they would, but the sales associate took my name and held one for me since they were low on stock. Very nice.
My more recent transaction was for an office chair. They had many, many models available, and the associate dealing with us stayed around to answer any questions, but also did a great job of "disappearing into the background" as we looked each chair over- was not pressuring us in any way, trying to hurry us, but was always ready with an answer to a question.
I'll grant that business was slow during our visit, but this kind of helpfulness will keep me coming back."
"Great expereience with OM, especially with disconts and rebates. Always receive the next day except for a DVD200i. It was on backorder (said that right at order time) and promised in 10 days, received in 8 days. Also ordered CD-Rs, CD-RW, varios other things with rebates.
I ordered an under desk organizer that didn't work out when I got it. I simply went to the local OM store where I received a refund. "

I've shopped from many stores that are listed as top resellers on resellerratings.com, from newegg.com to casecooler.com to performance-pcs.com, but this was the fastest shipping and best service I have EVER gotten on computer products.
Well, this is my first time shopping with officemax.com (I usually do shop at their local store though), and I'm satisfied. I ordered three items (DVD-ROM Drive, 52X Burner, and 100-pack Slim Cases) from them less than 26 hours ago, and it arrived at my doorstep via UPS about 15 minutes ago! I have never received faster shipping. I was thinking about cancelling the order just earlier this morning because I was afraid I might not get the shipment in time and I gotta leave for college next week, but amazing, it arrived today as it stated it would on their website's tracking service page.
What's more? The items I ordered required mail-in rebates, and they even sent a rebate booklet in the UPS box with me so I don't have to print out the PDF files on my own.
Highly recommended! I would definitely do business with them again in the future."
"Bought a Tungsten E on monday, got it on tuesday. Suffice to say I was very surprised; I was wondering if I would get a tracking number by the time the UPS guy came. Fastest shipping I've ever experienced, even from companies based around here (Bay Area). Everything went without a hitch, and the product came with no defects."

"I ordered a couple of items from them since I have a coupon. I absolutely need to get my orders by the end of the week and I got scared when I read about the reviews here in Reseller Ratings with some people's order taking a long time to ship. I was really surprised that my order only took 2 days to be delivered. When they say fast and free shipping they really mean it!"
"They were taking e-mail orders for Black Friday items on Thanksgiving Day. Ordered a Brother laser printer at 6 am. Received it Tuesday morning 11/28/06. Great, prompt service. Didn't have to get up in the middle of the night to stand on line."
