"Yep, they are as bad as the reviews say they are. I ordered parts on 11-22-12. Several weeks later I called and they said it would be shipped out at the end of the week. Several more weeks went by and still no parts. Instead of calling the company back, I contested the charges on my credit card because I didn't receive the product. My account was credited and I never heard from Norwalk Power. Apparently, if more people contest the charges with them, they lose their ability to accept those cards."
"Don't bother ordering from them. They don't have what they list online. Ordered 6 parts on November 1st. Called one week later. "Will ship on Wednesday". Called again the next Thursday. "Will ship on Tuesday". Well, ONE of the six parts shipped that Tuesday. "
"Absolutely the worst online vendor I have ever dealt with .I ordered the part on 9/26 my card was charge 2 days later .almost 1 month later when I finally got through to someone they didn't seem to know what was going on so i was left on hold twice for a total of about20 minutes,once to check with their warehouse and then to call the manufacturer(All of this to check on a part that I was told was in stock ready to ship)Customer service finally told me that the manufacturer had said that the part was discontinued even though they took my money and said they had it in stock.I cancelled the order and am now waiting for my money to be refunded.I wouldn't recommend this outfit to my worst enemy.Update 11/19/12Still no refund so I called today ,received an email tonight saying original cancellation was under review or some BS.Maybe I'll get my money back before Christmas.I can't stress strongly enough not to deal with these people."
"Ordered a part on 8/31, called around 9/20 and e-mailed around the same time. NO REPSONSE. These guys don't know how to provide any customer service. I called today, 9/25 and asked for my money back. At least I got a live person this time. We will see how long it takes to get my money back. Wish I had read some of the these reviews first!"
"2 weeks after I placed my order online I began calling to inquire about my order. It hadn't even been shipped yet. After 3 attempts, finally they cancelled my order but I still havn't seen a refund. Terrible customer service. Would not reccommend."

"I ordered a generator from them. They told me when it would be in. It came in on time. They filled it with oil, installed hour meter, tested it prior to me coming to pick it up. They were very helpful through the whole process. After placing the order I read the reviews and had a lot of anxiety that I had made a big mistake going with this company. "I am echoing what everyone else is saying about Norwalk -- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Fraud is their business model. Credit card debited the day of the order. Items were shown in stock but were not. Called on 4/6 and notified parts were back ordered. Order cancelled same day. Refund to credit card on 5/1 only after notification that transaction would be disputed. "
"I ordered a small replacement part for my trimmer over two weeks ago. NPEC was one of the cheapest even though shipping was pretty steep ($11 on a $2 part that weighs a few ounces). Naturally, I'd like to know when to expect the part because I can't use my trimmer without it. I've filled out their "Contact Us" form several times and left several voice mails and have yet to get a response. If you're going to have a large Internet presence, you should be able to meet the demand and have the ability to respond to your customers."

That same day you took $906.98 off my credit card and advised me that the generator would be shipped in 1-10 days. Very Expedient of you. On January 9th, 17 days after I placed my order, I enquired as to when I might receive it and discovered that it hadn't been shipped yet. Regretfully, I had to cancel the order as I was leaving the US and couldn't wait any longer. You obliged my request on that very same day with an email confirming cancellation of the order. It is now January 20th, 11 days after you confirmed cancellation of my order and you have yet to credit my VISA. I believe your efficiencies when taking money, combined with your gross inefficiencies in delivering product and refunds is nothing short of criminal. Where is my money?""
"Ordered a trimmer head and throttle control for my lawn mower since Nov 13,2011, Order # 12402. Got an immediate response via email that the items will be shipped between 1 to 10 business days. Sent an email 1 month after , got no response. Called on Jan 6th , 2012 and I get a recording "Sorry, there is no one available to answer the call, please leave a message" , no matter which numbers I call. Hey, seems like these folks are frauds. "FALSE ADVERTISING. Was told after waitng the full 10 business days that the item was no longer in stock. They charged my Visa right away!!! The ones they had had, they shipped to other customers. WTF? Told it would ship by end of Nov. then Dec. 1, if not then Dec. 12 so I called on 14th-still not in stock. Maybe mid-January.!!! Guess thier suppliers don't like them either. Other sites can ship directly from manufacturer from in-stock (so they say) now. Free shipping too. Was offered extra chains and oil but no guarantees of ship date or a replacement offer. They actually have NO chainsaws in stock with no dates when they will. You'd think the website would say so right up front! They said "sorry" but that was it. Customer service is just "nice" lip service. Meanwhile trees still sit around my yard from the Oct. storm. Would have bought one locally if I knew these guys were just pulling my chain-saw...hoping I'd wait forever while they had my money! Why is the USA going down the tubes? "
