"After reading a lot of negative reviews about this place, I none the less gave them a try, because they were listed with the Better Business Bureau. I checked the BBB site, and it said there had been six complaints in the last 36 months for this reseller. In all instances, the complaints were resolved, with the customer receiving what they were seeking. I am not afraid to complain, especially to the BBB, because they are a powerful force that retailers respect. The second reason I was willing to give them a try, was because of their $335.99 Price for a Minolta Dimage f100 Digital Camera, which has (as of today) an average retail price of $449. (Some places want as much as $599!)
I printed the pages from their site which pertained to my order, including their return policy, what was included, etc. just so I would have documentation in the event I was going to get screwed.
Then, I ordered from the web site. I was going to place the order over the phone, but when I called, the sales rep. told me he was with another customer and would be awhile. He said to just order on the web if I knew what I wanted. Fair enough.
I ordered the camera only, no accessories. Within a minute of processing the order, I received an e-mail confirmation with my order number.
The next day, I got an e-mail from a sales rep. named Ron W., telling me to call, because some additional information was needed to complete the order. "Here we go!" I thought to myself. I didn't call until the following day. Ron W.'s first question to me was, "Is my shipping address the same as my billing address?" to which I replied YES. His reply was "Okay, that's all we needed. This should ship within 24 hrs." so I said Thank you and hung up. (No sales pitch at all!)
Later that same day, I received another e-mail, this time from UPS. I watched the package make its way from Brooklyn to Parsippany, to Harrisburg, to York, and finally, to my house, two days later.
The camera was delivered as advertised, and working.
The only negative to my "Nice" ecperiience, was the $26.67 for shipping, but hey, that was said up front too.
Because of all the bad reviews, I felt I could at least relate my experience in defense of this company. Now, it's true that I have not had to deal with their customer service, so I can't give an honest opinion on that, but for me, the company met my expectations quite well."

"well after reading some positive and negative comments about this company from a couple of different sources ( epinions.com & bizrate.com ) including this one, i decided that they sounded semi ok and i was willing to take the risk and go through with the order.
i decided to buy the Canon Powershot S1 IS, which at the time they were selling at a great price and they were one of the few stores that would ship to canada at such a price. after the order + shipping charges + duty charges, i still managed to save 200 dollars of it ( they go for about 700 dollars here in canada without tax ).
now for the order process, i placed the order on the 11th, got a confirmation email a little while later. the next day i received a "call us to confirm the order" email which said i should talk to Kevin B. the sales rep was pretty nice and seemed easy going, tried to get me to purchase some accessories, which i probably would have done if i didn’t buy some locally, as their prices were fairly competitive. once the order was approved i had to wait till the following monday ( aug 16th ) to recieve a tracking number, after that i was surprised how fast the shipping was from the states, the package hit canada the following day and was at my door 2 days later ( aug 18th ). i was very impressed with the speed im sure if i ordered it on a monday i could have had it the following friday.
so that portion of the ordering went very well and im pleased. now for some negative comments.
im a web developer by trade so i had gripes with their website, it seems thrown together and could use some work as far as little things go. for example when i selected that i was from ontario the shipping should have automatically changed to international as opposed to whatever i picked which caused a bit of confusion as i selected next day and that wasn’t offered in canada. now the other problem i had was the level of customer service, for example my sales rep and the lady i called to grab my tracking number from, as it wasn’t emailed to me, were very friendy. but the random people i had to go through to get to them were sketchy at best, got hung up on a few times after being put on hold. so those are my two gripes with the whole process.
would i order from them again ? definitely. are their prices good ? sure are. do they ship very fast ? yup. is it worth putting up with the little annoyances to get a good product at a good price ? i think so.
