"Wow, wish I'd checked this site before I ordered! I got a similar story: I made an order and was asked to call in and "confirm" information. I was then given the hard sell and purchased some additional accessories, and then the run-around began: When I enter my order number to reveiw my order status on their web site, I get a message stating no order exists; I was never emailed an order confirmation although I keep asking (about every day for one week) for it; when I call in for information on the status, they keep telling me the order shipped but then they tell me they will email me the UPS tracking number but then they never do, and now that I'm more insistent, they just give me false numbers (one for an order that shipped last year, and one that just didn't exist at all). The latest promise of a "Next Day Air" delivery and a supposed tracking number yielded a "tracking number not found" from UPS... These folks are definitely in business of Wamboozling... As of right now, I have no confidence I'll be getting a "good deal". Next time, I'll spend the few extra dollars and go with a reputable reseller."
"I ordered the TV, was told it was in stock, they charged my credit card and the TV never came. The status did not change on their web site for my order. I e-mailed and was told it was due to go out the following week. It never was sent. I called to be told that they did not have the set in stock after all and was waiting for it to come in from Sony. Then they would ship it after they received it. They had lied to me so many times that I cancelled the order the next day. They sent me a e-mail telling me the product was no longer in stock. It has been a month since they charged my card and they STILL have not credited my charge card. Do not buy from this company! "
"After I placed my order for a plasma TV with Nice Electronics, I received an email confirming my order and telling me that: "There is additional information needed to process your order." When I called their 800 number, it turned out that the "additional information" was a high-pressure sales pitch to buy an extended warranty for many hundreds of dollars. After I repeatedly refused to buy an extended warranty, the sales guy finally gave up. He told me that the TV was in stock and that it would be shipped that day. The only thing that happened that day was that my credit card account was charged for the full cost of the TV. The TV was never shipped. I called and emailed repeatedly for more than two weeks (being put on hold for a long time each time I called), and was told a different story each time. Finally, two weeks later, a supervisor told me that they did not have the TV in stock and that he was not sure when and if they would be able to ship. At that point I asked for a refund of the amount that they charged to my credit card two weeks earlier. He promised that they would issue a refund. I am now waiting to see if the credit ever shows up. In conclusion, a merchant who bills my credit card without shipping any merchandise, and who they tells me two weeks after billing my credit card that he does not have the merchandise in stock is not a merchant with whom I want to do business."

"I've recently ordered a refurbished Canon camera from them as they had a great price and good ratings on pricegrabber. And yes, I had to call them back to confirm the order. And yes they tried to sell me some more stuff. However, having gotten no email from them to confirm shipping I had begun to worry. Even more after finding their rating on resellerratings.com. But in all fairness when I called them I came across this really nice lady who gave me the shipping number at once and it arrived quite fast.
So I guess all in all it was an acceptable experience."
"I got a notice from customer service that they would not ship to my credit card billing address as it is a private mail box. I gave them a physical address (as they requested) and they refused that as it was not the billing address. I finally gave them another card with a physical address and it all worked out well in the end. I suppose they have to be careful not to get ripped off."
"Order a camcorder online 6/1/06 (Thu night). Didn't get the "we're closed fri and sat" until after the order was placed, which was annoying - but then the other stores I was considering also closed fri/sat... Anyway - got the email sunday morning "we need to speak to you" so I rang and was asked for the sec code from my credit card - AND given a rundown of a lot of "great offers". Not too hard a sell - but then I guess it depends on what you're used to.
They charged my credit card right there and then (according to the statement) and said I've have the camera in 7-10 days. A few emails back and forth later (asking where it was) and it shipped on 6/12. It arrived 6/19 new and as desribed with all accessories. So I got a $1000 camera for $650 - sweet.
I wonder if they don't actually carry stock; one of the phonecalls I had they said "we're just waiting for it to come in" - so maybe they buy stuff 'on demand' after billing your card. Anyway - it showed up only a few days late, and was perfect. So I'm happy."
"Good overall experience. The unit shipped quickly and the extended warranty was reasonable. The price was the best overall that I could find on the internet but shipping costs that were typically waived by others on purchases of this size - quickly ate up some but not all of the savings."
