"The bad: According to Newegg's user review rules, NewEgg's "user product reviews" are filtered by eliminating negative comments about Newegg and/or its agents e.g. UPS, Fedex, etc. Also banned in theory are user reviews that compare merchandise from different mfg's. My experience with Newegg Customer Service has been poor. On more than one occasion they indicated that all shipping, delivery and tracking problems I encountered were my problem, not theirs, and they offered neither advice nor assistance. Shipping charges for small items can be very high compared to other vendors.

The neutral: I have no experience with returned item handling at Newegg - I have never RMA'd anything I received from Newegg.

The good: first-rate merchandise, prompt shipment, good selection, reasonable S&H charges on major items - I probably will continue to make a majority of my Internet PC-gear purchases from NewEgg."

"Newegg rocks again!

Ordered a Maxtor 40Gb hard drive and two Enermax temp monitoring drive racks late on 3/4 and they were delivered on 3/7 very nicely packaged. As always, their prices are very competitive, and in this instance, the shipping charge was very low!!
As a Computer Tech and heavy duty home user, I've stopped using anyone else for computer parts except Crucial. A++"
