"I am not too computer literate, so when someone told me that I should get a mechanical keyboard for better feel and accuracy I did. The only problem I ordered a keyboard used by gamers. You can imagine the surprise on my face when I opened the box and there was no ten key pad. I put it back in the box and call New Egg to see if I could return the keyboard and get a new one with a ten key pay. I did my research and decided to order the brown key board. When I talked to the customer service rep Nora.P.Ramirez, she was very helpful and when I told her my story she waived the restock fee. I have ordered my new keyboard and it should be here within two days. No shipping and no hassle. I will continue to purchase all computer equipment from New Egg. John Heymann, Yelm WA"

"WARNING: DO NOT BUY A REFURBISHED COMPUTER ON THIS SITE!!! They only come with a 3 month warranty (which is not advertised) which is total BS. This is typically when problems with computers start to occur and in my case, I had problems with my HP Pavilion dv6 after only 2 months and then HP gave me the run around until my warranty expired. Long story, short I have to pay $350 for a new processor. Not worth what I saved on the refurb. They are dumping defective computers on this site with little to no consumer protection. Also, while I complained to Newegg about the HP treatment, they did nothing."

"Best of the Best! Been a customer for years & have NEVER been disappointed! Even the one time my purchase didn't work, customer service went WAY ABOVE & beyond to fix it!
Scratched driver CD with DVD burner purchase-No problem had a new one in my hand in 2 days.
So untypical these days....So Typical for Newegg service!"

"Freaking love newegg - great prices, great return policy (just make sure you CALL them, they'll usually send you a shipping label if you call, not if you do it online). Can't say enough good things.

"Right after purchasing and before my order had shipped I received a token off coupon for the item. I called customer service and they were kind enough to give me a gift card which was really appreciated."

"I live on a military base and so have an address that the USPS service can't readily validate.
I have had newegg.com ship me packages before which have arrived successfully. However, the last package was turned back by FT Drum as not having enough information to deliver.
Even though the fault was FT Drums and not newegg, newegg has told me they will refund me for the purchase and let me make the same purchase again if I choose (which I definitely will), they will even discount my new purchase so it is the same price as the last time I made it when I used a promotion code.
I have always had great experiences with newegg. They are my first choice when buying anything computer related."

"You can easily find people complaining about RMA issue with Newegg. But story is pretty much the same.
When you receive defective item, of cource you request RMA, but Newegg will tell you that it was damaged and can't replace it.
They knew in the first place that item was not fully functional. To keep your money all they have to do is damage it intentionally and send it back to you and keep the money.
I thought damage occurred on that defective motherboard during shipment. But after finding more people have exact same story, they do the damage. Some people described damage that impossible unless someone throw to the wall. That kind of damage.

Another problem is that I purchased Intel motherboard from Newegg in April of 2012 and called Intel about the warranty. They told me it is out of warranty in 2009.
They sold me defective junk and lied about the warranty.
I have kept all emails and chat script with Newegg and Intel.
until someone stop them, they keep doing this to the people."

"They have what I need and at the lowest price or nearly so, especially if there's free shipping. I recently had to RMA an SSD, the refunded the return shipping charge, shipped a replacement, also free shipping, the same day the RMA'd drive arrived (and this one worked!).

Great service!"

"Just wanted to add a few lines as there are many other reviews.
These guys are great. Fast shipping and very very good customer service. I have purchase from these guys for many years now and is my main shop for computer hardware.

Cons:
They do not usually pay for return shipping on DOA items. (Pretty much standard with most companies.)
Their packaging of OEM hard drives are bubble wrapped and placed inside a box with packaging peanuts."
