Good customer service from an otherwise bad experience

"I ordered my computer through Newegg and it was sent out, only for FedEx to misdelivery to someone else's house. Fast forward to a month later, after filing claims with both FedEx and Newegg, and even my local police department (I was supposed to receive my package on January 18th) I finally had a customer service agent who was willing to keep me updated and keep their promise as such on getting my claim finally process. The rep was polite and understanding and instead of being told I needed to wait longer that she would take care of to make sure it was finalized. "

Best Electronics Dealer on the Web

"I've been a Newegg customer for over a decade now, and they have remained the best electronics dealer I know of. Especially for Computer Parts. I have never had an issue with them, and every time I have talked to customer service it was because of my own mistake. Even then, their customer service is the best I've ever experienced. They have helped me with whatever issue I had, and I even received a personalized, hand-written note thanking me, even though it was they who helped me! I always order from Newegg and keep up with any sales they have. They should definitely be your first stop for any electronics needs."

Newegg? Don't unless you want frustration

"I bot a computer from them. It ended up being so cheaply made that within 2 months the wires connecting the keyboard to the computer were exposed. I get a 'free' headset bundled with the computer. It didn't work and calling customer service was a total nightmare. One person hung up on me because I asked if I could speak with a supervisor. I ended up sending the headset back in at my expense only for it to go into a black hole. Looks like I will never get the replacement headset I was told I would get.

I am sorry I ever ran across Newegg.

Wow after shopping with Newegg recently the Customer Service from Mariah was Awesome,

"I am a long time Shopper with Newegg all the way back to 2006 or earlier. Loved shopping here for all my many Computer needs I have had and then other stuff in Electronics. They have such a killer selection of products. But today I needed some help with my last purchase of a WD Hard Drive and I got Mariah on the phone. She absolutely blew me away with her fast knowledge of everything and the Kindest genuine person. Newegg sure has a good person working for them with Mariah in Customer Support. Thanks as always Newegg. "

Great customer service

"I had a little mixup with some parts and ending up needing to do a return. I had a lot of questions and had to call in 3 times because I have a lot of stupid questions and like to make sure I understand everything. Most places get a little **** off about this but all 3 agents did a great job, friendly, polite, understood my situation. I'm impressed"

Newegg is a good egg

"I ordered a My Weigh baby / pet scale but when it arrived it was missing the a/c adapter. I contacted Newegg and they could not have been more helpful. I contacted the seller 123Stores through the Newegg website and received a prompt answer offering to send the scale back for free or receive a rebate. I like the scale so I'm keeping it and accepting the rebate.

I have spent some time looking at the Newegg website and intend on shopping there again.
The variety of items for sale and the great customer service is such a plus. AND I could communicate with Melissa with ease which is often not the case with customer service

Fast and helpful customer service

"One of the few companies I can call and get support within 30 seconds of dialing. I purchased a computer case which went on sale a day after my order shipped. The support number was easy to find on the website, and I immediately got a representative, Leo M Copeland (hopefully that's the right name since it's what I got in my e-mail confirmation). Guy had a helpful attitude and credited me the difference for my purchase - no questions asked. Support like this is what makes me pick Newegg over other online retailers when the prices are similar."

"Had an issue with a cancelled payment by the bank. Contacted the chat and got Aria. Not only did my problem get fixed, but I was upgraded to 3 day shipping for FREE....from an issue the bank most likely caused. Thats why I shop NewEgg whenever I can"

"I purchased computer security software and saw two days later that the price had dropped $30. I called and Alyssa was able to refund me the difference. It only took a couple of minutes to resolve the issue. I will definitely be buying from Newegg again. I wish all customer service was this efficient!"

The tale of the past due RETURN DATE!

"Literally just got off the phone with Newegg Customer support as of writing this review. The person I spoke to was Dwight (hopefully spelled correctly).

I had called asking if anything could be done as far as returning a motherboard I had purchased. It was already 9 days past the return date, but I explained to the rep that due to putting aside the motherboard (I'm currently building a new rig and don't have everything yet) and being in between jobs (among other personal life stuff) that I didn't realize I had bought the wrong motherboard for the CPU that I also want to get.

I explained that everything inside the box is still sealed and that there potentially was a seal on the outside of the box but that I don't think mine had one (there wasn't any indication of one being there like sticky residue from the sticker).

After about 2 minute hold, Dwight proceeds to tell me that while it is past the return date, that they are willing to make an exception AND they even gave me a free return slip! The only thing being that if their RMA department does see signs of stuff being open that it will either be voided and returned to me or that i'd have to pay a restocking fee (which I told Dwight that i'd be fine with paying a restocking fee).

Like I told the rep, this is exactly why I use newegg, great prices and great customer support every single time I use newegg or contact their customer support. And I will definitely continue to order the rest of my new rig from newegg.

Tl;DR They were cool with me returning an unopened product past it's 66 day return limit and even gave me free return shipping.

Melissa Rocks!

"I had trouble locating and tracking my order. After waiting on hold for an extended timeframe, the call was answered by Melissa but due to possible technical difficulties was then quickly disconnected. Melissa then contacted me back and was able to help locate my order and troubleshoot what had happened. She was professional, courteous and upbeat. The duration of the follow up call was brief and thorough."
