"Had netflix for about three months about a year ago. Canceled with no incident. My son tried to get a 30 free trial. I was going to let him use my debit card. I entered the information in and because I used the same card before, it did not let him get a free trial. I decided to reopen my old account (that way I was in charge of my card information). I never finished setting up the account he tried. They took it upon themselves to open. So, now I have my account open, and an account open I HAVE NO IDEA is open. I cancel my account before the first month. Same movies streaming, nothing new, I got my $7.95 worth. They charge my account again after I cancel. Didn't have money in my account so I got hit with a $37 fee. Upset, went to the bank, they would not reverse it. Was going to call netflix during business hours in the morning. Woke up, email on my phone from netflix. They tried to hit my account again. Another $37 fee. Went online, guess what?? My account is still open. Closed again. After closing, tells me there was a problem closing my account. I call customer service. They close it. Then inform me that I still have another account open with my card (the one I did not authorize). You can probably guess, they tried to collect on that account also. Another $37 fee. $111 on top of my original $7.95. I just paid almost $119 to stream crappy movies for one month. THANKS!! I should mention that customer service offered to refund my $7.95 so I am only really paying $111 to watch movies for one month. DO NOT USE NETFLIX!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE. IN MY OPINION, THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF FRAUD. IF I DID THIS AT MY BUSINESS I WOULD BE ARRESTED FOR CREDIT CARD FRAUD!!"

"Same old movies day after day. Very few new releases. Tiresome. Definitely could use some improvement and now I read that there is an increase in the monthly fee. Sigh. Nothing new and now you will be charged more......."

"I love Netflix. I recently cancelled Dish because of a rate increase, bought a Roku, and subscribed to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HuluPlus. Netflix is the ONLY ONE that supports CC and English subtitles for the hard-of-hearing (me). I cannot take advantage of Crackle and other free channels because I cannot hear the shows. Netflix has tons of titles that work for me, and I plan to be a Netflix customer for a long time. No matter how you look at it, the $16 a month I am paying for streaming and DVDs is a whole lot less than the $103 I would be paying Dish."

"Netflix is great. I really like the selection of movies and TV shows though they could improve (and are). It is very convenient to be able to watch it on my Wii when I am bored or want to watch some Doctor Who, Scrubs or whatever else sounds good. "

"Netflix is failing! Within the last 6 months price, streaming service selection, and DVD current release selection have gone south at Netflix. Turn around time for DVDs was 2 days now it is 5 days with most DVDs listed in queue as "Very Long Wait". I have canceled my Netflix streaming service because there is nothing new to view. I am getting fewer and older release date DVDs for a recently raised higher price. Prior to February 2012 Neflix delivered as contracted. Now, it does not look like Netflix will survive much longer."

"My experience with Netflix comes from my free trials and using my friend's account. I ended up choosing Blockbuster over Netflix simply because of the coupons from Blockbuster I could use at local stores. I've used my friend's account to pass time during long evenings at work waiting for something to happen. I was limited to instant downloads and I must say, I wasn't impressed with the selection. I'd browse the different categories and click through page after page of B movies until I found a classic that I'd seen a hundred times or an interesting title I always wanted to watch but overlooked. But those were few and far between. It seems to me they should have built up their collection of downloadable movies before advertising the service."

"I don't see why so many people are saying that it's bad. i'm fine with netflix. i had an issue with an offer that was sent to me and that i didn't receive the prize yet and they solved it in 10 minutes. At least I don't have to talk to Indian people from Dell"

"Netflix sucks!! The price is reasonable and for a couple months you can watch movies you had forgotten about or never seen but for the most part their movies are old...outdated....and uninteresting. I ran out of things to watch before the split but after it was like I just went to the site and thumbed through what I could watch and left disappointed. You got 8 bucks to throw away....go for it!!"

"I am giving Netflix a very GENEROUS 2 stars. The ONLY reason Netflix earns more than 1 star is because of their TV series collection available for online streaming. I was able to watch the most recent seasons of many popular shows such as Grey's Anatomy, South Park and Jersey Shore. But, the episodes of hit TV shows only go so far. I signed up for my 1 month free trial in late September and had watched all the TV shows I wanted by the 1st week of October. After this point, I found that the streaming selection is absolutely horrid. I searched common movies, such as Titanic (which, mind you, is not only a very common movie but also over 10 years old) and it was not available for streaming. So I searched a more recent movie that came out in the past year, also not available. Everything I have searched says "available by mail o DVD" but it's not available for streaming. I'm kicking myself in the @$$ for having not canceled my membership soon enough, because now I've had to pay $7.99 for a month of useless crap. Don't waste your time beyond the free trial membership."

"ok problem solved sorry for the review netflix,i guess this has to do all with pirating movies and TV shows from their servers, hey by the way to all who use crack software and buy stolen goods or even pirating movies or how about those idiots who sell boot leg movies ,HEY THANKS FOR KILLING THE ECONOMY WAY TO GO IDIOTS, AND THE BIGGER IDIOTS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT THEM BUY BUYING CHEAP CRAP, SORRY NETFLIX !!!

i am so now totally dissatisfied with netflix, even more now since last night on the phone with Microsoft with conference calling, seems like to me netflix is really poor communication and support and everyone there seems to be programed to say the same thing or line to everyone, Microsoft was amazed to hear how the people at netflix cant handle a situation, Microsoft concluded that the support was so bad that i am still in contact with them and they want to get the problem fixed ,on the other hand netflix doesn't care or even try to help solve the problem, when we asked to speak with a supervisor, she sounded like the rest of the workers there's and even more clues about the problem and just kept saying we don't support silver light, thanks Amy ????????? my problem is i am running windows xp pro 64 bit, i can use silverlight in hdmi mode in full screen with nooooooooooo problems on any website that uses silverlight, if i go to netflix and try to watch movie in hdmi mode on my computer to my tv the same way every other website use silverlight but on netflix I CANT SEE A PICTURE JUST SOUND, AND THEY SAY NOTHING IS WRONG ON THEIR END,SURE THERE IS ,SURE THERE IS, i used the 2.0 version for 4 weeks, then it asked me to upgrade i dont want to upgrade,i cant veiw movies in hdmi mode with other versions just 2.0 and now that 2.0 doesnt work i cant watch any movies except for in pc mode only, what a joke"

"I will cancel the membership soon. It takes forever for the DVD gets to me. When you ask they will blame on the USPS. So if you receive only 3-4 movies a month. That's more expensive than you rent at Walmart Store. The instant movies most are OLD movies; it's not worth the money. "
