"If you order from Neobits you deserve all the pain they are going to give you because there will be issues. I only wish I had seen this site before I attempted to order a fixed acoustic screen for my projector. I called and asked if they had the item in stock and they said yes so I went to their site and ordered it and 3 days later I still couldn't get a status on the order. I spoke with Amy and she acted as if I was bothering her to get information and then they kept asking me to agree to this "This item is non returnable, if defective it will be replaced. All warranties are in effect for 1 year. Please advise if you would like to proceed." Why would I order something that I didn't want and why if they didn't have it would they say they did. It seems as luck would have it they did not have the item so I never have to deal with them again. There are numerous posting ahead of this telling you to stay away from Neobits. STAY AWAY FROM NEOBITS, AVOID THEM LIKE THE THING YOU HATE MOST IN LIFE!

"TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Do not order anything from these people... I ordered 3 hard drives that were supposedly in-stock... it took 10 days and then when I inquired they said they were out of stock and would have to cancel my order. They charged my credit card immediately (which is odd, because most resellers charge when they ship) and they held my money the whole time with no order status! Then when I went on their website... the item that they told me was out of stock... says "In-stock" on their website!!! Unbelieveable!!!"

"I paid for 2nd day shipping on my parts. They took 7 days to ship it and then they shipped it GROUND!
Good luck with the Live Chat. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a connection before I gave up.
I will never do buisiness with these clowns again."

"Steer clear. Claimed to have HP Touchpads in stock, and being a lesser known seller and finding it early on, I placed an order for a 32GB at higher than MSRP. They immediately put a pending charge on my card, which is all well and good. However, communication was completely lacking. I emailed to ask if they had an estimate when it would ship 24 hours later, with my order showing as confirmed. I received a three word response, and that was it.

Fast forward to August 31, when I emailed again to ask if they had an update. I received a response that they had been "overwhelmed" and were "fulfilling on a first come, first serve basis." Fair enough, except that I received absolutely no cancellation notice, they held the charge on my card as pending till the 30th, and they apparently made no effort to communicate the cancellation. Not only that, but they continued to list the TouchPad 32GB as "in stock" for over 24 hours after I placed my order.

Turns out that Neobits had no TouchPads at all, not a one that they claimed to have in stock - they were hoping for a shipment of them, selling things they didn't have. And they're not even an HP Authorized Reseller either.

Sure, their alleged specialty is phones. But if this is how they handle things, do you want to chance your PBX on them?

EDIT: Neobits' canned response posted as a comment can be taken as an excellent example of how they conduct business. A scripted answer containing no actual information and just excuses. It does not take over a week to compare orders to available, and people have still been completely unable to locate anyone who actually received a TouchPad from Neobits. And not being an authorized reseller, Neobits would have to purchase from another reseller. "

"Terrible Company!! Stay away. Held my money and cancelled my order after a week, No E-mail notification. They never had them in stock. I called them, as soon as i said touchpad, they transferred me to an automated message system. They don't want to take care of customer at all. It's a terrible thing that they tried to sell something that they never had. "

"Horrible reseller! Had me wait for 10 days before updating the order status to canceled. No courtesy to even email me. Emails went unanswered in this time frame and the voice mailbox is full and you cannot even leave a message."

"Many years ago, Neobits seemed to be a good company; now, they are less than UNprofessional -- Avoid them! I could not figure out how to give them the less than one star rating they deserve."

"Bought a big paperweight. a cisco 2100 modem... that was supposed to work...

This store shipped me a DOA product and they wont return or refund me because they said that their product is non-refundable. I only okayed the order because i expected it to work when it came to us...

Do not buy from them."

"Invoice number is google checkout order number. Item (IOCell Networks - 352ND - 2 Bay NDAS Network Enclosure) was listed as "in stock" when I placed the order. The day after I paid, seller sent me an email to cancel the transaction. When I emailed them and asked why they cancelled it, they replied that they no longer had the item for sale at the price I paid ($73.15, including shipping), but they would sell me one for $25 more. I checked their web site and they were still offering it as "in stock" until one week after they cancelled my order, although they had changed the listed price to reflect a $25 increase in price. BAIT AND SWITCH pricing. A month later (7 Apr 09) I was on the NeoBits website and they were offering the same item for a penny less than I had paid the first time, including shipping ($73.14 total). I again placed the order, and they again cancelled the order; this time with no explanation or apology. STAY AWAY FROM NEOBITS!!!"
