"Ordered dining chairs and table in April 2013. Chairs were in stock table was not. Table was not in US and had to get shipped international and deal with import customs. I asked to get the chairs shipped separately, they refused. Communication was ok, if you picked up the phone and called them.
1 month 14 days later, I have to now deal with a crappy shipping company, Metropolitan Warehouse http://metropolitanwarehouse.com/. I was given a tracking number and when I went to review the status, it said scheduled delivery was on a holiday (memorial day). Called the shipping company and they said delivery for week of, even though its was 3 days into the week with no call from the shipping company. I called every day for 3 days and finally they said that it was schedule to be delivered the next day. A 1 day notice to be delivered in the middle of the work day with no choice or say. Their communication skills were aweful... a simple thing like trying to give them my PO or tracking number stumped them... made me repeat numbers like 5 times, kept spelling the delivery address incorrectly, answered the phone "yeah what do you want"., this was over a few different communications with a few different people.
The price of everything was one of the lowest I saw on the internet (I still spent a over $2700, so I would think a bit more deliberate customer service would be given). I will give an update once I get dining table and chairs tomorrow."
"Well, The reply I received was that they didnot have all merchandise available. I replied stating that I am open to accept multiple deliveries if no additional charges apply. I have not received a reply. I check my online account and it still "pending". Sad thing.... the mattress set, which I bought from another company, is here waiting for the bedroom set to arrive...."
"I ordered two pieces of furniture that were clearly marked as "free shipping". The invoice was sent and clearly stated the final price with shipping. One day later, the merchant sent the following email, note the poor english:
Dear Hubert, We have received your order and got it processed. Since our shipper does not deliver to Idaho, we will not be ship it. We can arrange a third party shipper for you but it will cost another $199. Please advise. Thanks, National Furniture Supply
I replied, insisting on the invoice price, but the merchant refused to honor the clearly advertised free shipping. I do expect a merchant to honor an agreed upon invoice, so I consider this unacceptable behavior. "
"I purchased a TV console. The transaction was very smooth and I have received very good customer support. Based on my experience, I recommend this store very highly. "
"Great to work with. We simply found what we wanted for our daughters room and ordered it. We were notified by the deliver company about 2 weeks in advance, and if I ever had a question, National Furniture Supply was prompt in returning my call. Overall we are pleased with our purchase, the value, and the easeof service. Would shop here again for future furniture needs!"
"There were some challenges with our order but the company made sure to make it right and we were very happy with the end result. We would definitely buy from them again and would recommend that others purchase them from if they are looking for a good price and great customer service."
"Terrible Experience. This email to them sums it up and I have yet to receive my sofa:
Do you enjoy lying and spiting in the faces of your customers?
"There's weekend delivery for extra charge" I'm willing to pay the fee. But, no, the shipper does not do any weekend delivery period.
"Free white glove delivery" No, the shipper does not do white glove delivery period.
"8-10 week lead time" No, its been 5 months since I ordered this item.
Because I was lied to about weekend deliveries, I had to specifically take a personal day off work today, so I can receive a couch that should have came 3 months ago. The shipper arrives and tells me there is no white glove delivery and all he can do is drop the thing off on the sidewalk. I do not have anyone to help me lift the couch up a flight of stairs, so in the end, I sent the couch back with the shipper. You have wasted 5 months of my time already, yet you continue to waste more. The reasons why I purchased this couch from this company seems to be based off fraudulent claims. If I knew that earlier, I would have purchased it elsewhere. I will not take another day off work to have it wasted. It will be a white glove delivery on the weekend. I will not pay for any charges for the delivery. Whoever answers this, do not hide behind the company name, put down your name and company position, so I at least know who is responding to and hopefully resolving my complaints."
"I ordered 7 chairs on sept 5 2011 and received an email saying they were backordered. instead of emailing them I called them and they answered their phone and discussed the issue with me. I ordered back in Sept 2011 when there were virtually no reviews so I was a bit nervous spending over $1000. I decided to wait, they didn't charge my credit card until the items were shipped. I received a email Jan 2012 that the items were ready to ship and asked me if it was ok. The chairs were delivered and I today I am glad I made the purchase. Advice to those that email and don't get a response, try picking up the phone and calling. Hope this helps others...Now if only they sold home theatre seating :(."
"Placed my order, received confirmation and two days later I received an email that the order was cancelled with this explanation, "We apologize that we could not fulfill your order as the item is either discontinued or back ordered for more than 30 days." It seems to me that they should have known that BEFORE I ordered it. Now I have to start all over in the process. "
"Prompt delivery and response to emails/phone calls. Exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my order. I would highly recommend this website."
