"Tried to order a Halloween costume last minute for the weekend. The website offers 2-day shipping, which I thought would be worth the additional cost to get everything to me in time, even with a day to spare. I was wrong!The day after I ordered, I e-mailed to inquire about the status of the shipping and to make sure everything was still on schedule. They apologized for the delay and told me that it would be shipping out the following day. The next day, it did not ship out, and my e-mail received no response.A couple of days later, I finally managed to catch someone on the phone (most of the time no one picks up), fully intending to cancel my order. They told me that one of my items was sold out, but they had a size larger if I wanted to switch to that. Still skeptical, they offered overnight shipping and told me that everything would ship out in a few hours, so I agreed.By the end of the day nothing had shipped yet. I called (no answer) and e-mailed to inquire again, and was told that the larger size was ALSO sold out, but that I could get everything by Monday, past when I needed it. Had they informed me one of the items was sold out, I would have left the one item behind and continued with everything else. But communication with this company is atrocious.This place is a total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I placed an order several weeks ago and paid extra for faster shipping. I haven't received a single email or call about my order. I have attempted to contact them through email and phone multiple times. My Diva's Closet has been very quick to charge my card for the order, though! This is the first time I have dealt with such a horrible company. If you're looking for cute lingerie or costumes, try yandy.com. They are an actual company with real representatives and actually give you the items you paid for. "
"I ordered my corset on june 5th and needed it by june 28th, after two weeks of not receiving any confirmation email from them that my item was shipped i finally emailed them and they told me the item has been out of stock for several weeks and they will not receive new shipment for another few weeks. they didnt even have that next to the item when i ordered it that it was out of stock and when i tried calling them after they sent me that email no one answers and they wont respond to my email either. thankfully i paid thru paypal so they will garuntee my money back if they dont hear from them either. TERRIBLE SELLLER **SCAM** will NEVER order from them AGAIN!!"
"I thought my package might have not been shipped- turns put it was delivered to the wrong apartment . Before I knew someone else had received it, I tried calling the listed number. No answer any time I called. If it would've not fallen into the hands of an honest neighbor I would have lost my money. There are lots of comments here talking about great customer service- I don't know how that's possible when they don't have a working number listed. I will not order from here again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. "
"I ordered a costume and the website stated it was ready to be shipped next day- I paid extra money to have it sent in 3 days- The 3 days came and my costume was not at my home. I call there customer service line and no one picks up- Finally I get my costume today and it is not even what I ordered- wrong size and wrong costume- I looked up what they sent me and it is much cheaper- I keep calling and no one will pick up the phone. Never use them- they are horrible! SCAM!"
"TERRIBLE experience, merchandise never arrived. I was only contacted ONCE to be advised that my merchandise would be "3-4 days late as they were out of stock". After 1 month never received anything. No one answers the phone "even during business hours", no one replies e-mails.To me, this is a SCAM and they should be accused of FRAUD. I have already done my part through the business bureaus and the credit card company. My advise: Stay away!"
"Got my order on time, I think a bit faster than the website predicted. I got it in 6 days. Some or the reviews here gave low ratings I think because it looks like a lot of those people ordered costumes and its october so maybe the costumes are just hectic this time? Idk if it would effect it. But mine came on time and I ordered a body stocking and a corset. They also gave me a 10% discount for my next purchase."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. “SCAMMERS”.SCENARIO:Placed order on 10/19/10 for a Halloween costume. All items posted were shown as "in stock" and ready to ship the same day. The total amount for three items was promptly transacted on my credit card, also on the same day. Upon checking the shipment status by the end of the week, the order showed no shipment update. My Diva's Closet was called on 10/22 - at 10:30 am Pacific time (this is a California company). The only working number posted (562-868-8421) does not provide access to a customer service rep. Instead, the number is either busy, or when you finally get through, the voicemail tells you to call during normal business hours. There are no further options to leave a message and your call is disconnected. RESULTS:Phone number on the credit card transaction statement is not a working number, no longer in service. All other numbers posted for this company are no longer in service, which include: 562-946-9768, 562-404-1394.This, along with MANY other blogs across all social and media networks, will be posted about this company. Contact the BBB to lower their current C+ rating. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. Any positive reviews that have been posted are by members of this company (such as "crystallanders")."
"This store is a fraud! I ordered on October 1st it is now the 25th and I still do not have my order I cant even get someone on the phone after weeks of trying for hours. I have also emailed many times with no response. They did charge my credit card prompty though! Now they have ruined my Halloween! I hope no one orders from them and goes through this."
"I ordered a costume from this company almost a month before I was set to leave. It took them no time in running my credit card but they never answered the phone or returned my emails. I called during business hours but kept getting the recording to call during business hours. I sent 3 emails stating they needed to contact me because I was leaving. When they finally sent me and email it was after the date I had left, and they didn't even send the costume it had sold out. They are a horrible online company don't waste your time or energy. "
"I have had a lot of problems with other online companies. A lot of them always seemed to ship several days to weeks after I place the order. Contacting other companies are always a pain.So I’m now always anxious when placing online orders. Not with My Diva’s Closet! JI have a special day planned for my boyfriend and wanted to get something special.I placed my order on Monday night and was anxious, so I call the following day to make sure that they received it, and that the items that I ordered were in stock. After 2 rings, I’m talking with a customer service rep, which is a good sign. She tells me that the order was received and that it should ship out that day and that I will receive an email with my tracking number at the end of the business day.The whole day, I’m waiting for the email, then the email arrives just like she said it will. I’m just thrilled that they processed and shipped my order so quickly like they promised that they would.Now I’m just tracking the package and just realized that it was shipping to my work!!! I immediately call them again and ask them what kind of packaging and what the label says. They tell me that the package will arrive in a plain brown box with MDC as the company name. Whew!It arrives, I open the package in the office restroom, and I’m happy!I just wanted to thank the reps at My Diva’s Closet to being patient and making me feel at ease. "This time I went shopping for eye makeup and I don’t think I have ever seen such an amount of colors in the mascara and eyeliner. They are FANTASTIC! The price was wonderful so I purchased quite a few. The mascara and liquid eyeliner are top quality. Unfortunately I ran out of time to check out anything more so I will surely be back. One more thing, I didn’t know that many different false eyelashes existed.... what fun!!"
"I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY AS BAD AS THIS ONE. My Halloween costume arrived 4 days before Halloween, almost a month after I ordered it, and it was the wrong size. They refused to take it back, but I kept on pushing it, and finally they said I could mail it back for a refund. So I sent it back, and they will not refund my money. They told me they sent me the right size, when in fact they did not. (Really sent an accessory that had been ordered with the costume...) They don't answer their phone or reply to e-mails. I got screwed, and so will you. "
