"STAY AWAY!! DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! THEY ARE LIARS!! We purchased 2 SIM cards, but only 1 arrived several weeks later. We emailed and called the "customer service" several times (by the way, every time we call, it's just 2 indians, 1 guy and 1 woman), was told they would investigate this, but we had to speak to the head guy N. Hasan, so we emailed and called Hasan, he told us the other card will be shipped at his convinience; then 2 weeks later, without the card, we emailed and called again, Hasan told us the card is on the way; another week later, when we emailed again asking if the card was mailed, he emailed us back with one word "yes"; another 2 weeks later, still without receiving the card, we called and emailed again, Hasan just refused receiving our call and emailed us back saying he would follow up with the manager (so that means he lied about the "yes" response.), the funny thing is his customer service told us Hasan IS the ONLY MANAGER THERE.
PLEASE, MYWORLDPHONE.COM, PLEASE STOP SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS!! "
"I bought my N91 from myworldphone.com in the beginning of may of 2006. The phone had firmware issues from the beginning which Nokia USA wouldn't help me with due to the fact that myworldphone buys them from outside the USA, and the phones are not intended for the USA. I contacted Nokia Europe and they would not help me for the same reason. Last night I tried to update the firmware via Nokia's web site and it failed, leaving me with a very expensive paperweight, as the phone no longer even boots up. I'm out over US$800 and nobody involved will help me. I will never buy from myworldphone.com, or Empire Global Tech again and strongly reccomend nobody else does either! Just look at how many DISSATISFIED customers are on just this review site, you do the math..."
"Claims that UPS picked up - but UPS has no record outside of receiving MyWorldPhone.com's billing information. Customer Service (toll Call) is non-existant: E-mail requests go unanswered: I entered a PayPal dispute; MyWorldPhone.com's sole response has been "Shipped UPS - No Tracking info available."
My opinion: A bunch of Third World shysters. Stay Away from these clowns!"
i did receive the product in 2 days as promised, but i only received the phone and the charger. i did NOT receive the cd-rom, memory card, or the headset. i did not even get the fucking battery so i do not even know if the phone fucking works. jesus christ i am fucking pissed right now. i called them immediately only to be told to call back later. after reading the other reviews i am not sure if they will do anything about this. i cannot beleive they can continue to do business like this, i will make sure no one i will buys from myworldphone.com again."
"HORRIBLE customer service. order two phones, supposedly shipped (included UPS tracking info). the shipment was not accepted by the recipient (which wasnt me as the phones never left NY). called to get refund, they claimed it would take 2 days. it has never shown up. i initiated a paypal claim and finally got a hold of someone yesterday when they told me they couldnt refund while a paypal claim was started. this is completely false (confirmed with paypal), and after waiting a second time they finally said they would refund last night, but of course it has NOT happened. Total scam company. when i cant get my money back for goods NEVER RECEIVED it is disgusting. pay more and buy from someone else."
"I was reluctant at first to order from my world phone. The price was very good for 2 Black Razrs, just $215 each. Was the lowest price I could find. I was scared that i would be ripped off or sent non working phones, because I have heard from past instances from other consumers. I called them a few times and talked on the internet, my experiences were mixed, sometimes they were very nice and sometimes they were mean and talked to me like they had a product that i couldent get anywhere else, something these guys should consider is treating the customers how they should be treated. so i ordered the phones and the website stated that it would ship 2nd day UPS, when i got the UPS delivery email, i noticed it was sent ground. I got the package the next day, but the $35 shipping fee was a bit much for inner city shipment in NYC just for ground. I got the phones and they have worked fine so far, its only been 1 week, but i have not had any problems, they used newspaper to secure the packagine, which is somthing they should improve. Phones were brand new and not touched, somthing i was conceaned about.
all in all my experience was good with my world phone, just from other consumers, id still have caution about ordering from them again."
"I just received my "third" non-working Motorola cell phone from Empire Global Tech, Inc. or myworldphone.com. Two of the three phones also had either cracks or scratches in them. The third phone is an exchange of the second phone and neither box had the car charger I had purchased. I do not recommend this company. Motorola informed me "please note that Empire Global Tech is not a Motorola authorized dealer." I wonder where they get the thousands of phones that they sell?"

I bought a Motorola Razr V3 light pink: $162+$35shipping = $197 -it came without battery in the box -the box was not new -the color was not light pink, like the photo and description shows, but it was much darker -the phone did not seem new, because the protectiv tape was partly torn off...
I attempted to return it, and spent a lot of time on the phone, finally got a RMA #, but on the phone I argued I had the right to a full refund (what they sent me was not what they promised, the battery was missing, therefore they should not charge me restocking fees). Anyway, they still did not assure me they would give me 100% refund. Waited a couple of weeks, they got the phone, I could track it with UPS (UPS track # 1z94xw454298978511), I called and they could not find my phone, asked me to call back in a couple of days, I called back and they said they would refund me in 48hours. I waited over 48 hours, checked but no signs of refund, call again, and again asked to wait 48 hours. Finally called credit card company, and disputed the charge. Still waiting for final resolution.

"Overall bad experience due to seller's inability to follow through on promises, accurately describe their product, respond to email, and properly address a package.
First, shortly after paying for the item and the promoted second day service, I received notification that the item would be shipped via ground. Second, after a week of waiting for the item to trek across the country I noticed in the UPS tracking notes that the package was undeliverable. Turns out the seller omitted my street address so I was forced to pick the package up from UPS. Finally, once I took possession of the item, I noticed that the packaging was not sealed, language was set to Chinese, and power adapter was for Hong Kong. Much to my surprise the phone was in good, working condition. Again be very leery of this seller – they won't be there when things go wrong."
