You sent me a defective product and asked me to pay return postage. It does not make sense. I ordered a product and paid postage and then I got a bad one. Why should I pay more? And your customer service sucks. I wrote three emails but no reply. I called but the woman had very terrible attitude. I will never ever buy anything from your website.

Unfortunately mwave does not manufacture the products we carry, and are not responsible for product defects. However as mentioned on our web site, in the unfortunate event a product becomes defective, this item may be be replaced under warranty. Mwave will cover the shipping expense of this replacement, and the customer is required to ship the replacement in return.
If our service department did not handle your request with the utmost courtesy and efficiency, we will make sure it is addressed immediately. Your business is very important to us, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

I have been a regular customer for more than a decade. Mwave has the best selection and the best customer support, period. Their prices are excellent and I will never buy from any other outlet to save less than 1-2%.

They sent me a computer case instead of a monitor. I have tried several attempts to get the problem corrected. At least 2 of the times I called, they said I would receive an email with an RMA label and confirmation that my replacement monitor had shipped. I have not received such an email as of yet. I am very unhappy with how this order has been handled.

My order arrived within a week, well packaged and in perfect condition. I will not be able to install and test it for a couple of weeks, but since it is all new merchandise, I don't expect any problems.

Have dealt with Mwave for years and have always been satisfied with their prices. Love the free shipping!! The product always arrives quickly and is well packaged. The external Hard Drive Enclosure is no exception. Will continue to buy from them in the future.

Mwave: great sellers but beware! Their Customer Service Department might be your worst nightmare.
Trough eBay (Techtreasure), on Nov 11, 2009 I ordered an "Asus PC 1005HA-P Black Combo Set" (netbook, Windows 7 Ultimate, USB DVD-unit and a 2GB memory upgrade; $827.25 USD). I had bought with them before and everything was fine. This time I was in Mexico City so I asked many questions before I ordered; they were nice and everything went smoothly. They offered me to buy directly in their store but I preferred to pay the 10% eBay price increase and paid $73.25 USD in shipping so I could get it faster. Got the package the last week of Nov, which is fine since usually I have to wait a month.
First surprise! They got my order wrong, sending me Windows Vista Ultimate and no memory! I had to pay to ship them the Windows Vista so they would send my Windows 7 and memory. I wasn’t upset at all, we all make mistakes. I made the shipping from Mexico; $40 USD I told them I was going to use in another product: they answered they would send this product as a gift. Great! This was the last week of Nov; I got my Windows 7 and memory on Dec 2nd. But OS wouldn’t boot with this memory. I wrote them and the next day, the 3rd, they stated they believed “the memory is not compatible or defective”.
Once again I went to the Mexican FedEx to ship the memory, another $40 USD! I was about to fly to my country, Nicaragua, so I asked them to ship the replacement there. They confirmed the memory wasn’t compatible and offered to ship me a replacement to Nicaragua, with no problem or excuse. So far, I had spent over $80 USD. By this time I had recommended Mwave to my friends, and I know at least four bought products, one of them even spent over $3,000 USD because I recommended!
I arrived to Nicaragua on Dec 23th, the memory was already here and I installed it until the 28th. Next morning, unit was dead! I am very careful with my electronic devices, and the unit was like a baby to me. It was the last days of the year and they were closed. Jan 4th I got my answer, this time by another person, stating “retail products are warranted through Mwave.com for the first 30 days only”, and telling me to contact the manufacturer. I answered that it wasn’t fair to contact the manufacturer because the unit was working great until I attempted to install the memory they shipped me. They agreed (once again, great!) so I had to ship the unit. This time it was over $100 USD in shipping with DHL, from Nicaragua to the US. Over $180 USD in RMA shipments! Jan 20th the unit was proven defective and on the 21st I got an email that my replacement had been shipped.
And here was where I got very mad. A few days later I checked the tracking number and it didn’t matter if I had stated MANY TIMES to send the unit to Nicaragua: they sent it to Mexico City! All hell broke loose. Quick question: if you receive a package from one country, why would you ship the replacement to another? They said they “are not able to send to a different address only to the original. We also cannot re route the package in transit for security purposes”. I demanded a solution and they offer I could “replace the order and make sure the address is confirmed with paypal (…). We can only process the refund back for the original when the package is returned”. It was a dead end: I am in Nicaragua, my netbook was in Mexico City, they were “unable” to send me a replacement to my country (not true, they had shipped before a 2nd memory to Nicaragua easily) and finally, they wouldn’t be able to work a refund because I had cancelled my Mexican credit card before coming to Nicaragua (I offered documentation to prove I was the rightful owner of that credit card). Next time they would say the package was sent to “New Mexico”. I was absolutely disappointed. I wrote them that they never said they couldn’t send me the unit to Nicaragua, and that their provided “no solution or alternative, and with a horrendous and offensive new mistake, stating you sent the replacement to ‘New Mexico’. New Mexico is in the US, the unit was sent to Mexico City, Mexico. Workload should not be an excuse to treat customers like this.”
So, what did I do? I had to call Mexico asking for help, issue and fax a Power of Attorney to a friend and ask him to pick up the package. This represented time and money, exactly the ones we tried to maximize when we buy online.
Currently, as of Feb 5th, my replacement is in Mexico and I will pay another $100 USD or so. So, over $280 USD in shipments to cover up their mistakes, plus additional Customs fees in Mexico and Nicaragua, plus calls to Mexico City and above all, such bitter moments? UNACEPTABLE! They did replace the unit (a unit I have not tested yet) but the way the RMA was handled was awful. I was advised to file a complaint against Mwave, and I’m considering since Mwave hasn’t offer a way to make it up for the time, money and bad moments I had with them.

This is the second order from mwave and I received a partial shipment without explanation. I sent an email inquiry to the processing dept. and it was answered within the hour. My experience has been that many other companies tend to let email sit for awhile or ignore it altogether. Mwave demonstrates that they are providing robust resources to what many companies skimp on to save money: customer service. And yet this is not reflected in the competitive prices.

Customer support. Long waits on hold via phone and non tech people on-line.
Parts arrived in reasonable time frame.
Will buy from them in future.

Order status page does not reflect current order status. I refreshed the page every day after ordering and it always said 'No' under Shipped, even after the item had arrived in the mail.
