"I purchased a netbook battery from Mundo Corp after being directed there by Gateway. I got what I thought was a great price and they shipped the product quickly. After less than two months the battery failed (wouldn't accept a charge) and I requested a return. I followed their instructions exactly. Within 2 hours of my battery being delivered to them (checked my tracking number) they claim to have fully tested the battery and found it to be in full working order. They refunded only about half of the purchase price. I responded to their e-mail disagreeing with their assessment and they have not responded after almost 3 weeks.I purchased a replacement battery from Amazon.com that works great so I know the problem was not my netbook. I don't believe they actually tested the battery. Customer service is abyssmal at best. Can't recommend any order from them. If this is the kind of company Gateway sends their customers to, I won't be ordering from Gateway either."

"I have to be frank, ordering and returning a laptop battery (that they INCORRECTLY SHIPPED ME) was a near-traumatic experience. Their customer service was about as sympathetic as the bottom of my shoe, and they refused to pay for shipping, even though the mistake was clearly their fault. Also, their nifty 10-day expiration on returns forces you to pay for a more expensive shipping method. I do believe that it's possible to have a good experience with this company as evidenced by other reviews... but why date a guy when 15 women have told you he's a cheating louse? Please don't give any business to this pile of failure masquerading as a company; instead, I ordered the part I needed from Skyline and received excellent service AND free next-day shipping. "
"This is beyond the WORST site I have ever bought something from to date. I printed the shipping address and where do you think it was shipped, the billing address. After waiting for almost two weeks, I went to that address and found three notices from UPS. You think I can call or even email MUNDO...NO!!! I would never buy after this experience!"

This was my first purchase from Mundo Corp and I found the experience was just great. Also, the price of the adapter was less than what I found listed elsewhere. "I ordered a replacement battery for my Gateway laptop with Visa payment of $117.82. After battery delivered we learned that the problem was in the motherboard and we attempted to return the unused battery and letter of explanation by insured USPS to Mundo Corp. The box was received by Mundo Corp on 11/11/08, opened, resealed and marked "return to sender". After 2nd mailing it was returned again to me. Certified letters were sent to office and documented problems. No response after 2 more weeks. Unable to speak with Customer Service or Corp headquarters. Worst service I have ever experienced! My return mailings were handled fraudulently and I can pursue this issue with USPS. Mundo never extended me the courtesy of any response to telephone messages, certified mailing or attempt to speak to Corporate office. Extremely dissatisfied"
"Order placed, by phone, confirmation number given, but no invoice number. This has lead to complications to track order, not yet received as of June 17th. We have called the company, without an order number they give no information. The credit card has been charged. We have explained the problem to them, their response was to email firstname.lastname@example.org. We get the same response, without an order number they can do nothing for us, yet Mundo Corp did not give an order number. We are very displease with this company. They were not efficent about the process of the phone order, gave no invoice number, and displease in the way they have not helped track this order."
"I ordered a cdrom drive for an old Gateway2000 Solo 2100 laptop on 1/7/2008. Item shipped on 1/9/2008 and I receieved it on 1/12/2008. Good prices on old stuff and quick shipping really make me happy. :)"
"Purchased a 256MB DDR PC2100 memory module for a Gateway 450SX4 laptop. Module received was either faulty or the wrong type so return request was sent to Mundo Corp. Only had nine days (from Hawaii) to get the part back to Mundo upon receipt of RMA# so I had to FedEx it to the tune of $17 in order to get it there in time. Received a confirmation e-mail ten days later stating that "inspection and testing" had "determined" the memory was "fully functional." We could either accept the memory and pay additional $25 (plus shipping charges) or accept a refund minus a 35% restocking fee. Now looking for another authorized Gateway parts distributor..."
