"I was ordering two mp3 players online. Found one i liked for a good price at this store. I just ordered two days ago. I really wish i hadn't now. In fact, since i found these reviews, i've been trying to call them to cancel the order. - Alas - nobody will answer the phone - sometimes it's busy, but otherwise, a machine answers and you stay on hold. - I was on hold for 2 hours - just waiting to see if anyone would pick up. i did this two days in a row. I really hope My product ships! - i could be out more than $300.00! Dont buy from these people!!"

"I bought from them through ebay. They posted misleading information, saying that an item was "new in box", but when I received it, a standard included accessory was missing and they were unwilling to send it."

"This company has the worse customer service of any online business I have ever shopped from.
They did not include a copy of the invoice with my purchase. I need a copy of this invoice for any warrnaty work for this product. When I emailed them with a request for a copy of the invoice they took over a week to reply to my request. Finally when they replied to my email request they said they had no scanner and they would not snail mail me a copy or email it to me. They would only fax it to me. I have since emailed them back telling them that I do not have access to a fax but have received no reply.
Excuse me, but if you can fax it to me, surely you have this invoice on a computer somewhere and you can print it & email it or send it through snail mail. "

"Do not purchase from this seller. Maybe if your transaction is error free, you might get your item. However, I had a problem with my order and they DO NOT answer email and if you get through on the phone (don't get a busy signal). You can expect an endless delay on hold. I had to drop off after 45 minutes."

"I ordered on March 17th, 2004, 2 MP3 players (AVC Soul II DMP-201) but the company shipped a different model (AVC Soul III DMP-610). They didn't have the ones I ordered in stock but the packing slip that was in the package was showing what I ordered. They also charged me for the MP3 players that I had ordered when the players that they sent retail on their website for approx. $50 less ea. So I was over charged approx. $100. I asked for a RMA number to return for a refund or exchange them. It took them 33 days to get a RMA number for me (and numerous e-mails with them). Now a month later after I sent the item they still haven't refunded me anything and they are saying they will tomorrow but with a 15% restocking fee and they won't refund the S/H either to or from them (and they have been saying they'll refund me for the last 2 weeks too). Calling them on the phone can be up to 30-minute holding time (with avrg. around 15 to 20 minutes). And I've never received a reply to e-mail in less then 2 days with waits as long as 16 days and more.

The reason I didn't want this model was because they didn't have the features I needed/wanted. The players/boxes were never opened and. I was always quick to answer their e-mails (same day usually) except for one where I was out of town for a week. Even with the delay and all it should have been resolved a long time ago. They say it is company policy. Seems strange that it is also company policy to send the wrong item and double its retail price on 'their' website

At this point I would like a full refund of all charges including shipping and handling both ways. The order was $207.95. My shipping costs back to the company were $19.95. A total of $227.90 should be refunded.

I'm still waiting... a BBB complaint has been filed... and I'm not stopping yet. An attorney is next on the list. These people are real bad business people!

[Update June 08, 2004]

I have created a website about this whole deal. http://home.comcast.net/~jcp411/ "

"Plain and simple.....I'm taking this company to court for all the reasons that everyone else has mentioned here. I was ripped off just like the others but I didn't see these comments till it was too late. Now they have my money and claim ignorance.... They make it look like they are working out of Vermont, but they work out of Canada and ship via International carriers. They wanted duty from me to receive my package and it took over a month for me to resolve, then the unit didn't work right out of the box! Trying to return it was a joke also. It's now May and I still haven't received my money back..... see you in USA court Mr. Benoit.
P.S. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
INTERNET FRAUDS!!!!!!!!"

"I order an mp3 player from them and then received an e-mail stating it was on back order. I e-mailed them back and cancelled the order and also called and cancelled the order. Three months later, I receive the player and my credit card gets charged. Now, I have to ship it back to Canada and was fortuante that the post office took it back because they did the delivery confirmation thing and it was a mess, but I took it back to the post office within an hour of receiving it. That's okay if they made a mistake, but I called them up and informed them of the situation and they said they would credit my account once the receive the item. The received the item a week and half later. I called them up 3 weeks later and asked for my credit and they said they recieved the item and were working on it. I called them 2 weeks after that and they said the were still working on it. I finally called my credit card company and filed a dispute. They eventually credited my account. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy from them. Do a search on froogle or pricegrabber.com, I'm sure you'll find the same item in the US

"Watch out for these guy's, I returned a defective MP3 player for refund, they charged a restocking fee and the process took over two months. The vendor is Canadian and played the conversion game at my expense. I will not do business with these scammers again."

"Oh boy. How I wish I'd read these reviews BEFORE I ordered from these jokers. I've experienced some bad customer service in my time but this place definately has to rank WAY at the top of the pile. Any and ALL email inquires are summarily ignored and any attempt to call is met with either infinate hold times or sheer staff incompetence. Late last week, I placed (2) orders (Jul 17 and 18). Initially I ordered a NexII player because of the price and paid directly with my CC. After reading some positive reviews on the NexIIe player, the next day I ordered one but this time I paid with PayPal to get the 'free' DHL shipping option. Well, turns out that allegedly my first order was 'accidentially' shipped to the wrong address and then returned to them. Evidentially someone there believed that although I had been charged for it I really didn't want it and nobody bothered to resend it. I've, of course, been offered a 'full and total refund to my card' (but the jokes on them, because I've already notified Visa of their activity). As for the second PayPal order, no one there seems able to find an order number for it and they don't appear too concerned about looking into it. However, once again the jokes on them because PayPal was also paid with a different CC and they too have been notified of this merchant. My best advise is to AVOID like the plague. However if you have ordered and paid with a CC in the past 30 days, my advise is to contact your CC issuer and file a dispute over the charge ASAP. Otherwise, you have little legal recourse short of small claims action."

"for those who has been scam by this mp3playerstore.com merchant, I suggest you file a complain to the internet fraud control center, the address is as follows:

http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

The center is suggested by one of post below, and they are run by FBI, and other goverment agencies, the member who post this address has successfully pressure mp3playerstore.com to refund his/her money. So if u are one of the victims who got scammed by them, I suggest u file a complain to the center, and the chance are more than likely u will get your money back, plus, u are doing a good deed for any future potential victims of this company to put this company to justice!

comment 7/1/2005: I wanted to add that if you use credit card, you can contact your card issuing bank to dispute the charge, that way, at least you can get your money bank for the time being.

May be we should contact an attorney and bring a class action lawsuit againist this company, it seems like after so many complains(for about two years now) to the IFCC, this place is still in business. A class action suit againist them should certain bring this scammer to it's dome."
