"Great service, instant and very good e-mail-contact when they sent me an I/O-shield all the way to Sweden (northern Europe."

"I ordered a DFI 915GM-MGF Socket 479 motherboard to use with a Pentium M CPU from a dead laptop. What i received, best I can tell, is the DFI 915G-TMGF Socket 775. Obviously this doesn't work with that CPU. I called the phone number on the order confirmation five times. It would ring a bunch, then go to a busy signal.

Update: MotherBoardPro contacted me shortly after posting this review. They said their phone system was down that morning. They will be picking up the board and be refunding at 100% plus shipping. It sucks that they didn't have the right board and shipped the wrong one. But they are willing to make up for it."

" ASUS MB P5GC-MX/1333 is no longer available in W.Europe and I wished to have two more. I found a number of US stores with different prices and different service
Melissa was wonderfull in service and accuracy and price, so I put my order with her. Payment via Paypal. 10 days later I had the parcel in hand sent by express post to France.
I am very content and will certainly contact motherboardpro again if needed."

ResellerRatings.com TOP REVIEWER!

"Bought a DFI motherboard at a great price. Timely shipping delayed slightly thanks to FedEx Ground, no fault of Motherboardpro. I will use this vendor again with confidence. "

"I have ordered two DFI motherboards from Motherboardpro.com, and it has been the best experience I have ever had with any online company yet.

Recently I had and issue with the first motherboard that i ordered from them, I emailed them so that I could get the old invoice. they were able to email me the invoice in less then 24 hours, it was by far the best customer service ever.

They are very reasonable on shipping and always have great deals. I would recommend Motherboardpro.com to anybody who ever wants to buy a motherboard."

"MotherboardPro.com is my favorite motherboard retailler! As a Canadian, it can be difficult and expensive to find rare motherboard models in Canada, let alone find an American retailler who will ship to Canada, and at a reasonable cost. MotherboardPro.com always makes me feel like a VIP customer. They carry the rare motherboards I want, in the quantities I need. Melissa is extremely helpful and she goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Whether you need a mainstream motherboard, or a rare model, use MotherboardPro.com, you will be very glad you did!"

"not as promised sent a brand new motherboard 790fxpb and promised a cpu that would work with it , however they sent me an 8 YEAR OLD PROCESSOR AND IT WASN'T EVEN AN AMD IT WAS AN INTEL!!!! contacted them they said it dfi is responsible, contacted dfi they said motherboard pro is responsible. around and around ,finally after sever calls later to both companies i got a phone call saying WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS OR MONEY !!!!just for trying to get this rectified they sent me an rma # to return it at my cost and 15% restocking fee!!!! after saying they did not want my money LIARS!!! this is my 3rd dfi board , i purchased my other 2 from another source and i should have stayed with them , this is a big BIG hassle I am not even sure if i will get my money back, since I have been lied to again and again!!! all over an 8 year old Intel processor!!!I have now since took action through the better business beaurel and they already have several other complaints against this company ( for enticing consumers to purchase their products by giving something free away for we dont even know if this processor works.)and their parent co aintgot.com

edit# 1 they have yet to try to contact me on this matter appropriately unless they are calling from an "restricted" number in which case we do not answer "restricted" calls and if they are the ones that call they don't leave any messages either , they also don't e-mail anything except the RMA# as mentioned above.
you have heard that there might be several bad complaints against them , well this is one of them that is speaking out about it!!!

response : motherboard is passing the buck still and not wanting to take responsibility for their said actions for their mistakes and putting it back on the customer!!! WATCH OUT!!!! They also told me that because of this complaint they no longer want or need my business!!!! That is after I posted this complaint!! so as u can see if you post a negative complaint they will blame the customer and tell u they don't want your business!!! They make mistakes too !! But won't own up to them!!!
edit #2 they have contacted me via e-mail through this site.. I don't trust them since they said they no longer want my business.. WOULD U RETURN SOMETHING TO A COMPANY AFTER THEY TOLD U THEY NO LONGER WANT YOUR BUSINESS? I THINK NOT HOW CAN U TRUST THIS COMPANY AFTER ALL THIS?? THEY ALSO TRY TO CALL ,BUT WILL NOT EVEN LEAVE A VOICE MAIL!! THEY ALSO SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB BUT THEY DO INCLUDING MINE THAT IS PENDING.. AND NO WONDER WHY I AM UPSET WOULDN'T U BE IF YOU GOT TREATED THIS WAY??
OTHER COMPANIES MAKE IT RIGHT .. RIGHT AWAY INSTEAD OF MAKING YOU FIGHT AND TELLING YOU THEY NO LONGER WANT YOUR BUSINESS ALSO THEY ARE NOT LISTED ANYWHERE WITH THE BBB UNLESS ITS UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME IN WHICH CASE THE BBB WILL FIND THEM!!! THIS MIGHT BE THE REASON THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS WITH THEM
after all this time you think a good company as motherboard pro claims to be that they would just compensate with a partial refund or give away or send something besides e-mails.. once you paid them for everything that u have bought they want to hang onto the funds as much as possible in any way this includes sending the product back and keeping certain fees and having to pay for shipping as well .. no this is a loss also to the consumer. if you even bought this product and all goes with it how do u get credit back for the processor and memory .. they waited to respond and offer my funds back after the 30 day period.. it sucks and very shady to do business with ... READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING U WILL C I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!

sine this posting they have eliminated me from their database making it near possible to get the board repaired! LUCKILY I HAVE KEPT MY RECEIPTS I ADVISE YOU TO DO SO ALSO. THIS BOARD HAS SINCE SMOKED I BELIEVE IT IS ONE OF THE CAPACITORS IT HAS NEVER BEEN OVERCLOCKED EITHER!!! THIS COMPANY ALSO WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH DFI ALMOST ON A NON-PROFESSIONAL BASIS BUT MORE ON AN PERSONAL BASIS HERE IN THE USA. GETTING AN RMA FROM DFI SINCE THIS POSTING IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!! DON'T BUY FROM EITHER COMPANY!!!!"

MotherboardPro, MotherboardPro.com rep has responded

“Customer was sent a new motherboard as stated on our site. He was not promised a CPU that would work with board he ordered. As talking with a sales representative, he mentioned he had 2 older DFI boards. When we told him we could send him a free CPU that would work with one of those boards, he was in agreement. We do not have a promotion for free CPU on the board he ordered, but rather some older, refurbished models as well as other 790 boards. We believe this was mixed communication and for that we apologize. Unfortunately, customer refused to let us handle to his satisfaction. Ultimately, calling DFI to present the matter. Customer states he would like to return working board to us. In out terms and conditions, if you return a good, working product to us, you are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Of course, we always refund our customers when the issue at hand is a refund. Customer has no basis to claim he will not get a refund.

The issue is the free processor that was willingly given to him. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding between the representative and himself. Our sales staff thought the CPU could be useful on an older board and customer thought he could use it on his new board. It is clearly stated on our site, which CPU’s are available for free.

MotherboardPro does give away free products with purchase, as well as many other companies. But we do not have complaints with the better Business Bureau.

Customer was instructed to return working item after we could not have a calm discussion with him about an alternative settlement.

UPDATE: We have tried reaching this customer by phone, we have been unable to. He is not satisfied with any resolution we present to him. He was offered a refund for the board. We cannot refund the cpu, as he did not pay for the cpu. He did not purchase memory from us. Again, sir, if you would like to speak with someone regarding th.
this issue, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you
